Very simple maths . With the costs of raising assumed at say £50k , the cash burn = 1.38m + 0.8m (net) - 1.5m = a cash burn of only £0.68m in six months... no where near a cash burn £1m in six months.
Furthermore with news in the in the next week or so and a milestone payment likely
the company appears to be in a strong and confident position

They have burnt through £1M in the last 6 months as this has mostly been written down for running the regulatory preclinical studies on their two new TYK2 candidates. The cost of these studies will be mostly all counted for now except for any extra end points required by the regulators. So adding in salaries and travel/marketing expenses for the last 6 months the real burn rate is very lean. Individual preclinical packages like this can be easily £500K a go, so they have negotiated well. Costs for the rest of the year should remain low.
It surprises me that you think this is bad as being a Dr you must surely know how these studies work.

Apologies fellow lths. Drmaccers. You did not lose all your money on mtfb because of my posts. I warned you in advance. No big pharma is interested in antibiotics market massively overstated largely junkies with no insurance. Your doctorate obviously didn't teach you how to listen. And the market has punished you for that. Your fault only.

Yes. I have annoyed drmaccers on mtfb and he is very annoyed. A) it tanked as I predicted. B) anyone who uses the word Dr is suspect. You should really only use the "dr" if commenting in a field that you are qualified in. I suspect drmaccers is a doctor of theology or possibly a doctor of self importance with a track record of losing shitload of cash. What are you a doctor in ? And why are you SO self important (despite the evidence of your investment faure) to put Dr in your name

Can run a company of shareholders feelings. You need cash and they are fast running out. Where’s their working cap coming from if not placement? Not in shareholder interests to go bust surely. What discount is the only question? In this market where even the PI favs like BIDS and BLOE are miles under the bid I’d be afraid.

I am with JT on this one as I believe that if there was a placement then TM would not have best served his shareholders two weeks ago when, on the back of the SRRA news he had the opportunity to really sell SAR to the public as the CHK1 compound creator .. and thus drive up the SP .. but instead decided to play it down and simply reference their materials
So for me a placement would show the board to not be behaving in the best interests of shareholders

Must be a placement due?

Cash at 30th June was 1.38mill
Cash at 30th Dec was 1.5mill despite raising 850k

So they burned 1mill in 6months. So if the nomad wants them to have 6months working cap at all times then they are in need of cash asap.
