Nope not in for much. Money is still money though....my main holding is much higher in certificates but dabbling in aim for the moment to see how I fair. Thanks and best of luck to RRL and all holders.
Not in the UK but this is not here. The people were thieves and I read that Sharia law rules there so probably not to much sympathy. I may be wrong on that Sharia as I cannot find my source, was probably some bloke Inca forum ;)
Glugger, good luck to you, although there weren't that many buys at .19 recently so if you did buy in at that price can't be a very large amount even if a majority stake.
... I've lost count of the shares I've had a quick look at and decided against. I'd probably still be in NCCL If it wasn't for the forum constantly copy and pasting the same shite that people are perfectly capable of researching themselves. MWG was another interest. I'm in here and happy. I might p1ss off in a couple of weeks if nothing happens I might not. I have every right to be here so real your neck in me old mucker
Range won’t at fault for Indonesia but clearly something went array as people died. You can’t just start work again without an inquest
Novice doesn't always equal idiot. Even though I'm new I am fully capable of using Google. Still suspicious of me? You may think I'm some moron trying to make my millions. Read my previous posts and you'll see where my money lies currently. Dependent on what I see the board doing over the coming months I have a decent bit of cash I could put this way. I'm also watching NCCL as a potential position however in my execution only account my majority stake is here. I also had a small punt on UJO. Don't ask why because even I don't know why. Purely gut feeling that one....
Glugger , you are "a novice PI" but you know about Pirate Pete. Ha ha good luck to you spinning your yarn, but it is always fun watching the story unravel. Windy is also a returning multi Id, but he keeps his head down and has managed to stay under the Admin radar since he joined in April. Good luck to Windy too, he's not a bad un.
Well at least this forum isn't like most on AIM with blatant de/rampers...
Where would you suggest? Seems a good buy to me and I'm not in up to my eyeballs.
Thought as much although they did say they couldn't definitively say whether operations would be affected. Would have thought they would have said by now. Over all still very happy to be in here especially at this price, new contract won this year and new wells due to open, buy rating from broker with huge potential upside and pirate Pete is no more Andy a fancy new truck to boot. Onwards and upwards.
The deaths in Indonesia had nothing whatsoever to do with Range and there are many such unlicenced well so this is nothing new to the government. Will have no effect on Range's activities other than our enviable safety record in TT will be seen as a bonus. No reason to even suggest this will delay matters.
In my experience working for an Oil company it will be a while before Range can report anything on Indonesia as there will be health and safety enquiries to make sure no future fatalities happened
Novice PI and you choose Range to invest into ....
....Also I wouldn't want to post on ADVFN, crumbs those guys need to calm down a bit, how much anger can they have for people who are not even invested here? It beggars belief...
.....Ferguson, not Wolseley. They didn't re-issue certificates after the name change so I still keep calling them Wolseley....
Nope only post on here and am a novice PI. Have been lurking around the forums for a few months, probably since just after Christmas. I've made a few quid and lost a few quid - especially on Carillion - I wok in a construction related industry and thought that there was no way they would be allowed to go under, but I have only used funds from my savings that, although I don't want to lose, feel i may be able to get a better return from here - that being said I am now up on my original investment. Decided to start posting purely on the basis that no one else seems to be and to see if anyone had any insight I may find useful. I can obviously sense a lot of bitterness and suspicion which is fair enough but if people have lost out big then I really can't help but think why would they put all there eggs in one basket, especially on an AIM stock? I've said it before but I've been invested in Wolseley by way of certificates for over 10 years and have a fair chunk but want to sell some to invest elsewhere as I remember on the last consolidation I got screwed a bit. It didn't matter in the long run but the special dividend issued - which I have set to automatically re invest in the firm - didn't cover the decrease in share value which I felt was a con so not keen to have that happen again. So there we go, hopfully this may alleviate any suspicion but if not then feel free to ask away. Cheers.
Glugger, so do you post on Advfn ? why post here now on lse. Have you been reading for a long time but just decided it was time to post ?
Saw the last update but was wandering what peoples thoughts are. Assume everyone has been following the thread on ADVFN? Makes for positive reading! Personally would say that end of August would be absolutely pushing 'mid 2018' to the limit with early June being accurate but with no update as to whether the explosion will effect Ranges progression in Indonesia I suppose we'll have to wait and see. "Liu added he was pleased with the significant production and revenue growth and is confident Range can meet its production target even with the challenges of the past three months. In Indonesia, all preparations for first well reopening are progressing well and on track for commencement during the current quarter, he added." Sounds good but are these guys all hot air?
I would of thought Indonesia is on the back burner (pardon the pun) after the recent incident
Windy, ha ha I merely quoted word for word the actual statement. But I guess by your standards , your interpretation will be last day of September though to hit a "mid 2018" target. Btw , why do you think Perlak is ahead of schedule ? and you also seem to have changed your mind on TT waterflood. Before you were posting "The waterflood itself could push the figure to the 1500 mark" now you seem to be finding excuses about why it isn't hitting targets.
Glug, the last update was "Field operations expected to commence in Indonesia, targeting first production in mid-2018 (calendar year);" So obviously this is the target. In the past RRL has never hit any of its targets , so yes all eyes on this one.
..Forgive the typo's, can't edit a comment once posted...
What do people who've been here longer think the chances of production actually starting mid 2018? Obviously fadt approaching but all seems quiet, has anyone had any contact them?
