Oh well. Thought it was too good to last. I'll write a positive Aminex post when and if there is something positive to say. Might you misunderstand the concept of balanced posting? Balanced posting is not a 50/50 split between positive and negative posts. Balanced posting is unbiased objective assessment.
I disagree it is all of our problem when posters use multiple identities to prop up their own argument (positive or negative) and they will continue to be reported. As for taking advice on balanced posting from someone with a 100% record of negative posts on Aminex, whose reason for following me onto RRL is suspect and has yet to even mention Range in any post I will pass thanks. Don't reply, this conversation is over.
Well let them worry about it then! That's their job. It's not your or our problem is it?
"Who cares about posters with more than one id...?" Well admin for a start as it is a clear breach of posting rules.
Congratulations celticheart - a huge improvement! Let's not slip back into the old nonsense eh? Who cares about posters with more than one id, and tiny trades that affect nothing? An objective assessment is needed and you are well-placed to offer it with your detailed knowledge of the Company. You just need to tear up those silly charts now :-)
I am accused of not posting a balanced view so here goes. When we were asked to vote for the re-acquisition of RRDSL my gut reaction was to vote no, which I did, because of the debt level it would bring with it. Am I sorry that the vote went through? no because it gives us greater operational flexibility and, as stated the aim is to make RRDSL an additional source of income, It will also reduce our drilling costs by around 30%. There is a question mark over all that in as much as we need to deliver solid contracts to make that work and, as yet details on those are sketchy at best. We do have one of the most modern rig fleets in the region, geographically well positioned to secure contracts both in the Caribbean and in South America. We also have an established relationship with TRIN, CERP and Petrotrin one of which is currently active. It would have been helpful if Range had been more specific about which in the last RNS so as to avoid speculation. We were told that we would be drilling 15 wells but that number has been reduced to just two this year. I was, like most people disappointed in this but on reflection I suspect that has a lot to do with the success of GY 684 which has shifted our focus from low cost shallow wells to more expensive deeper wells, hence the reduction in well numbers. Again I would like greater detail on where those wells will be drilled and a proposed timeframe. We were told that Range are in the process of sourcing a suitable pump to bring online the additional 700 BOWPD from Petrotrin, once again it would be good to get a firm timeframe for this. Does the outstanding loan worry me, of course but the balance of the consideration for the acquisition is due to be paid by no later than 30 November 2020. We have already paid 2.8 Million USD off this and my belief is that we will continue to pay this down as revenue streams improve. It has been a very rocky ride in this company and I am far from the rose-tinted fool some would portray me as but we are not some wildcat explorer hoping for that big strike, we have been there with Puntland. We are a producer with good assets both in Trinidad and Indonesia (yet to be developed of course). The company is more focused than it ever was which is why I still believe the BOD will make a success of this business. Make no mistake, it is still very early days in our recovery and a lot could still go wrong but we are finally heading in the right direction, all just my opinion of course but not blind ramping a balanced view.
