It must be some kind of joke I think too there James. That would be £1.5m open offer and the disposal of a part of the company for a few million more to have a review to decide more money is needed.
If that happens this will be less than a penny and never getting out. It would actaully be suicide, unlike all the attempts at suicide these past years.

At least I’m flagging up the possibility the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow may require a bit of a push on the ascent

Working Capital

If RED need a Placing for working capital to see them through the Strategic Review, that sure has my vote.

No prescience here this year as the storage market continues to grow. That is evidence enough for me that RedT are not going to be sticking around. The Oxford hub to mean looks like it's a technology agnostic company and the UK offering for flow is RedT.

Invest with caution. Flow has its merits, RedT is yet to prove its value.

Posted this on ADVFN but thought you may be interested here as well.

You will probably need to join up for a free trial to access this but basically it says that asset managers, managing $20 trillion worldwide, have built up teams that are very knowledgable about renewables and are competing to accumulate assets in the sector. It is leading to asset price inflation, a bubble is the term they use, where assets are being competed for. Its the asset managers that are competing for assets not the asset competing for finance. It may well explain why RED has had little trouble in finding finance to date and why the likes of Schroders are still invested here. It bodes well for RED's search for a strategic partner. We still don't know if the partner will be a financial company or an industrial company like Siemens.

Statkraft have just linked up with RED in another potential project and RED has been picked to supply the storage for the Oxford EV charging initiative. Personally I don't believe in coincidences in business.

Hi M. Yes but it doesn't mention the EU's involvement. It is a Brexit point but the UK Government is subservient to EU legislation. Personally I think the EU will reverse it's decision but in the meantime we have this ridiculous situation where the UK Government cannot bring in sensible alterations to VAT levels to support the adoption of renewables and storage whilst trying to encourage renewables to combat climate change. It is like hiking the price of tonights European championship tickets at Liverpool whilst trying to get the fans behind the team. Fortunately ticket prices at Anfield are not subject to EU influence yet so Liverpool enjoyed a fantastic support from the fans which helped them achieve a famous victory. I had to get the victory in as it was a fantastic game to watch. Nothing to do with RED though I'll admit unless you appreciate that red is the colour of Liverpool strip

Hi Mike,
This is a UK government decision. The Renewable Energy Association – who are dead against it – think so anyway.

The longer there is no need here the further it will drift down. How long will the cash raised last before they require more. Not looking good to be honest

Yes it's small, but that is the problem. Everything is small - one farm, one hotel... The only thing big has been board room pay.
The rest is just talk and excuses. Germany, Centrica, Oxford... all talk to get fund raises. They struggled to get 2p away last month and we are already ~25% below that.
No indication to anyone that things are progressing with the review. I wonder if it really has started yet.
Maybe it is like Brexit, a lot of pre-ambles and flannel, acrimony, nothing decided, then adjourn. As someone said, the money is running out fast.

Don't think it matters much as it was such a small part of the programme. Don't think it would sway potential purchasers.

Are we absolutely sure it is new and not a clever bit of TV patching together old reports with new presenters? It is, after all, the Cornwall farm that was featured on Countryfile some time ago. Countryfile is/was presented by John Craven as is this new programme referred to today.

Just a hunch I though I would share. It would be nice to make a comparison.

Strange......at last years AGM Scott was not comfortable discussing “small” scale orders....such as farms, airports, etc

Hopefully, we can come to some sensible arrangement for these smaller potential clients!!!

I think we would all agree, large volume orders help, as we can produce at improved costs....but we can see they take their time in coming to fruition!!

the only IP is in the stack and there is nothing magical about RED's - the much flag-wave-fund-raise steps to Gen 3 have demonstrated nothing of value.

There is nothing to buy here that has any demonstrable credibility - at every turn Red has failed to get proto's out for free to gather real world data

I came to a similar conclusion.
If this technology really worked it would have been bought out by competitors or larger financial partners.
At these low values it hasn't, you need to consider WHY NOT?.

This company has been poorly run and badly managed, but all of that can be resolved by a take-over if the technology is good.
