Wasn't Orimulsion almost zero sulfur? How much naturally <0.5% sulfur crude/HFO is out there?
. . . Less than 0.5% sulphur - doh!
“The fuel trial cannot commence until she is equipped with a scrubber to enable the consumption of residual fuel of greater than 0.5% sulphur, both BioMsar and Msar fall into plus 0.5% sulphur”
Agree. . , . Unless the residual fuel came from Vlsfo such as the fuel proposed out of the Utah project which is
Thanks
Check the MSC Schedules, she enters Dalian and doesn't leave, she can't leave as she is out of class certification on the date she enters Dalian, there will be no other mandatory class requirement for her to be in drydock again this year.
The fuel trial cannot commence until she is equipped with a scrubber to enable the consumption of residual fuel of greater than 0.5% sulphur, both BioMsar and Msar fall into plus 0.5% sulphur
"2 weeks should see Leandra on the chocks at Dalian dry dock, China"
Where can we find out more about this? What's the source? Is this the only time she's coming out the water this year? Is that a necessary precursor for a fuel trial?
2 weeks should see Leandra on the chocks at Dalian dry dock, China, this should be the precursor to the fuel supply contract and the commencement of the POC trials leading to LONO trials, we get the half yearly report this coming Monday. Be nice to see some significant progress on Morocco and MSC.
Not correct Barking - the latest update is that the "Company is now finalising the trial schedule with the client and anticipates fuel trials to commence prior to the end of Q1 2023" - so I'm not expecting trial completion by end of Q1 at all - perhaps an update to say it has commenced or this may just be incorporated in the results RNS

No doubt they will miss all the project milestones for Q123. This is the only thing they are good at it appears.
Maersk shows off its new methanol dual-fuelled ship:
https://splash247.com/maersk-shows-off-its-new-methanol-dual-fuelled-ship/
What is relevant though is that there is only 8 more trading days till the end of Q1 when we were told Morocco trial SHOULD BE complete by!!.
Another missed timeline - surely not.
"I think this has nothing to do with QFI"
Absolutely correct. I'd go so far as to say the rest of the stock market is (almost) entirely irrelevant to us, for good or for bad.
I think this has nothing to do with QFI, if nothing else investors are on the search for new opportunities, What QFI is. Until now I think big investors are watching QFI and will jump in when the risk is lower, my assumption is that in the moment we have some cash flow there is no limit for them.
"You can't believe a word they say"
To be fair, they have to say that. What do you think a bank run is? What do you think money is?
You can't believe a word they say..
I had Halifax shares, fine on the Friday, Lloyds deal on the Monday..
SVB UK branch, same line..
The price' is the MID price, always has been in the stock market, ever since it was born.
depends on what terms......ever since it was born?
The Stock Exchange used the jobbing system. Brokers used Jobbers prices (forerunners to Market makers) to find the tightest spread. for their clients.
Good to know, whatever you are invested in:
UK financial system ‘safe and sound’, insists Bank of England
Britain’s finances are not at risk from the fallout over last-ditch efforts to rescue a major international bank from collapse, the Bank of England says.
The central bank sought to calm fears of a panic after the discovery of serious ‘weaknesses’ at Credit Suisse last week forced it into a humiliating cut-price takeover.
Regulators had to effectively strong-arm Credit Suisse’s arch-rival UBS into buying it out for third of its previous value.
‘The UK banking system is well capitalised and funded, and remains safe and sound.’

"but if the last buy was for £10's worth of shares how relevant would that be"
Not very! (see my previous post). But £10 more relevant than a bid or offer which is wholly without volume.
but if the last buy was for £10's worth of shares how relevant would that be
Reality is, usually mid is great, but for small volume stocks and small movements...not so much. If you had a house on a street of 50 houses and they were all the same and you wanted to value your house, would the most recent sale price on your street (last week) be more accurate, or would the current advertisement in Foxtons be more accurate?
Share Price:1.525
Bid: 1.45
Ask: 1.60
Makes sense,
but on QFI, plenty of times the price displayed has not been mid...
At first I thought I had a browser issue, or data not being updated
but it happens often
Why wouldn't you??
If you look on the London Stock Exchange, you will also see that 'the price' is the MID. This is the place where QFI stock is listed, it cannot be wrong despite that it rounds up the price to 2 decimal places, making it 1.53p MID and Last Closing Price.

"If you look at the prices on this page"
Why would you do that?
DG,
I guess it is a contradiction to say 2-5 but could be higher. Perhaps they got confused with what WFI had told them and the 2-5 is for sites A and B only, and substantially higher brings in other sites?. That might explain why the text was changed between 2021 and 2022 to include the substantially higher, if QFI had clarified it to Edison, but on editing they introduced the contradiction instead of rewriting the whole sentence correctly?.
We just need to ask QFI or Edison to clarify it at some point.
Also, the Market Capitalisation, the most major of all financial data, as it is the current valuation of the company, is based on the MID not the ASK or BID.
Any offer for a company in a takeover is stated as a percentage above the MID, not the ASK or BID.
