I remember asking a certain other poster why it was necessary to caveat certain posts with
“Genuine Question”
Thanks Sigmund.
@AV
I very much doubt that PG actually
"Promised"
that he's going to Morocco.
@GRH
Fascinating story, I remember driving past the site of the Metro Centre when it has been cleared, even though there weren't any building's, the site was gigantic.
My mothers cousin currently looks after Sir John Hall Estates after being mentored by the man himself.
Sometimes you have to sift through the shyte to get your rewards.
Genuine question....
Is PG actually in Morocco as he promised he would be?
The brewery was the Northern Clubs Federated Brewery...a giant stainless steel construction...
Some say ...with good reason...that I never got over that Directors Special beer😂

Use the filter button for all you you find repugnant. That ought do the trick old chap
A long time ago...
Very many working men's clubs got together
To jointly commission the construction of a new brewery to provide booze to the clubs
I was asked to finance the new development...it was spectacular
Which I did
Whilst in town celebrating the official opening, I attended a lunch with their Directors
I had a couple of pints of Directors' Special
Good grief 💯
Part way into the second pint, I realised that my mouth had stopped working...(quiet at the back , please)
Anyway...it was all very successful...
Whilst there, I was asked to pop out to meet another man about doing another biggish deal
I stayed over in town
We were driven out to a newish housing estate...
where I met the man
It was in his nice, bog standard, modern detached house
He laid out his plans
Plans in abundance...
we crawled all over the floor to view them
I listened intently...
as did my CFO who I had taken with me to celebrate the brewery deal
The chap said
'Well...I want to build a shopping centre...
It will be out of town
I have a site in mind...in a nearby valley
It's very cheap to buy that land...almost a give away'
Ok so far', I thought
But he carried on
'Trouble is it's currently used to dump fly ash from a power station...been so used for a long time
So, the fly ash is about 60 ft deep in places'
My mind went blank...
I was in the presence of a mad man...
(Reminds me of this very BB )
I wanted to run for the door
But we stayed...and worked out how many lorry movements it might take to remove the fly ash...finer than flour...
It was an awful lot
Way beyond the numbers of such trucks available then or in the immediate future
We would also have to find locations to get rid of the dreaded fly ash
Clearly, it was hopeless
And ...if I took it on, I would be in danger of spending my valuable time on a white elephant
Of gargantuan proportions
With a real chance of losing a lot of money
After more discussion and pleasantries, my CFO and I headed back to London...
Talking much about the crazy plans we had reviewed
Hmmm
That land was in the Team Valley , Gateshead
That development was The Metro Centre
That man was John Hall ...nowadays of great fame
So,yes...I have missed a few deals
The Metro Centre wasn't even the biggest deal I missed out on
Ho Hum!

Why do certain individuals on this forum seek the adulation of random and often anonymous posters and tick- ups?
I find it repugnant and bad taste.🤮
I just received a nice PM
THIS was my reply...verbatim
'I have been very fortunate...
I was promoted well beyond my ability at a very young age
and I had to back fill quickly...
I was fortunate with some very big calls (ignore E&P)...
but I missed out on several giant financing deals...
my judgement on those was faulty...
I should have taken more risk...they are now household names'

Did you get that of x somewhere aswell
If you need that explained to you Porker then you are an obvious dullard.
You missed one foot and mouth
I just want to emphasise the post I had put on X
Today...
And many times in the past
'Of course...due to the very nature of the enterprise...
Irreducible risk remains at Guercif
It would be quite wrong to suggest otherwise'
I hold in decent size

The info posted by many on here is useful in decision making and considering the balance of probabilities but ultimately it.comes down to caveat emptor/DYOR/personal responsibility.
People have confirmed they followed advice to sell out of Sound from GRH, so there isn't really any dubiety around having some credentials.
The BoD need to get their fingers out and test as we don't have a clear timeline on SV-101 but have been given a fairly clear steer on Sandjet commencement and timetable to start. This needs to be adhered too or it will be poor optically if we don't (for this read sometime early-mid May).
MOU-5 has been signposted as a drill for months so if we are at the back of the queue it is disappointing news indeed but not something confirmed yet so keep your panties on/untwisted.
Let's get on with testing and drilling and see what lies in them there hills/sandy flats
Witnessing the biggest legend in his own mind likely ever to have graced a share discussion forum.
But what company
GRH.. .. . A few years ago, I was accidentally booked for
Simultaneous meetings with two CEOs
I mentioned my problem to a friend
He offered to represent me at one of the meetings
He did exactly that...
His name?
Adnan Samarrai 🙏 Who
Enjoyed a track record of enormous success
Identifying and discovering
😇 Very large scale hydrocarbons?
😇 Reviewed ...inter alia...Guercif technical data ?
😇 Concluded it was a monster?
Hey FUDin, do you make paper mache globes by any chance? I'm sure you find that tedious and boring too, but at least you get to see the world, eh? 🤣🤣🤣
Yes, it has caused quite a furore up here. The SNP/Green view is that this doesn't affect existing properties, and new properties should have insulation and a heat pump. The problem comes with power cuts, where a PV /battery back up is expensive and not guaranteed to work sufficiently in a winter storm. However, it is a political issue (keeps the Greens onside), and the majority don't live in the Highlands. However as you say, the logs I get from coppicing our trees are very low emission. I suspect there will be an exemption for Crofters and maybe 'flexibility' at the discretion of the local authority which may assuage most concerns.
We got a letter from the local council 3 years ago telling us our kamin was out of date and had to be either replaced or modified for newer regulations. Modifying it and keeping original brick work around it was in excess of €12k.
New kamin and rebuilding platform for it, €7k. No brainer new one essentially has a catalytic converter in it.
It's becoming tedious the constant digs at shareholders for perceived impatience. All people are wanting is the company to do what they said they were going to do. May 23 similar was said and here we are coming towards the end of April 24 and still no testing. A year on is not impatience. 9 months since Mou 4 was completed and still nothing flowed.
It's not difficult to understand. Some people may be happy to sit and wait, others want to see the company deliver on their timelines. Dismissing one because you are happy to see nine months wasted is poor.
As an aside,
Report commissioned a few years ago by SNP showed wood burning stoves using locally managed wood produced less Co2 per Kw output than fossil fuels and renewables.
What does the SNP do ? Ban them in new builds.
I can see an issue if poeple use poor quality stoves to burn unseasoned wood in town centres, but that should be handled by smoke control legislation, but in the middle of the Scottish Highlands .......?
Meanwhile Drax gets huge subsidies to burn imported hardwood pellets.
Lions led by donkeys it seems
Keith that is terrible news, such high emissions, get greta thunberg on the case straight away how can they spoil the inviroment with such HIGH emissions from importing gas from england, im trully disgusted, what they need is local gas, where they will find it i do not know.. p.s. ask greta if she knows how to spell predator? there is no arguing with the maths is there, home grown gas rules.... mr. biden has made a fortune for usa exporting cng to us and europe since the fu****g r uSSian cut off the gas to europe, but just think of all those emissons getting the overly priced gas from america.maybe someone can copy and paste to social media the high emissions caused by not using local gas,,,
Jimmy
The priority should be the successful flow test of mou 1,2,3 and 4.
The main fan prospect is mapped over 68 sq km sitting above a shale dominated sequence.
I have full confidence that predator will successfully flow test the Moulouya fan deposit.
A successful outcome will be transformative for the company and its shareholders.
In a success case we could be subjected to a possible takeover. After all we are explorers, prove up and sell.
Incidentally, the zelten platform is charged by the deep shale base.
However to use pv72 cake metaphor, the neogene fan sequence is the icing on the cake. The cake is the unexplored deep trough. We cannot allow any takeover without attempting to prove up resources.
The zelten platform varies in porosity up to 40%. It’s reasonable that the A high-graded area totalling 55 sq. km identified as potentially leached based could deliver similar porosity.
Of course like you, I would prefer to use the revenue generated from the CNG and drill out the Jurassic prospect. However, I fear we will not get the opportunity.
Time will tell.
All the best.
