Hi MS. Yes i only saw the first RNS. A bit stealthy by the buyers and the loan note element is a bit onerous. I am tempted though to go for it as I would like a stake in the business to go with my potatoes. Have you any views on the terms?
Am I missing something,I thought they are selling up subsidiary and taking the company private. Commenting on the Offer, Angus Armstrong, Chief Executive Officer of Produce Investments said "This transaction will allow Produce Investments to move to a more suitable Private Market Environment for a company of its size, thereby eliminating the regulatory burden, constraints and costs of maintaining a public listing. Existing management will continue to run the business, and, along with them, I look forward to continuing to grow the business and serve our customers."
as investors see some juicy pickings here. I nearly said See ya later baked potato to my holding here as it been a mish mash of an investment since I bought in. Maybe we have turned the corner?
GRIMS PROGRESS
KINTON GLASS.
50mil market cap significant. A lot of people screen out sub 50mil companies so should start to gain traction now hopefully
Took a small position here yesterday. A couple of amber flags to keep an eye on but outlook looks good to me.
lives ! finally a bit of movement , at last !!
I have bought some of this - I think it is really cheap and hopefully things will sprout (sorry)... https://deepvalueinvestments.wordpress.com/2016/11/22/new-investment-produce-investments-limited-cheap-potatoes/
Are you in the industry ???
Good should be a positive here....
as buyers nibble away at this. Some decent buys of late so perhaps a rise in the SP is cooing. It even chips in with a divi for yield hungry investors.
ploughing a lone furrow here but these are as cheap as chips! Slowly starting to regain their bite after the SP sank. A broker has a TP of £2 so it would be nice to see us back there.
wings. I had this one buried somewhere but it is starting to look more appetising now. I hope we can get a good harvest this year as PIl doesn't need any more setbacks.
Ha - blighted - see what you did there,...
This one has been blighted. I am finding another tale of woe here hard to swallow. The SP had been looking perkier but this has set it back. Hopefully it won't go any lower as we have already lost 20%.
Seems to be recovering some lost ground. Keep your eyes peeled for this one. Another profit warning would blight the share but it looks oversold. Now 13% up since its year low and might be one to pick up.

Yes. Not sure why these have fallen again. I suppose when you fail to integrate an acquisition after splashing your cash then you can't blame holders for losing faith in management. I am not sure what the management can do in the short term to reverse sentiment and only hope this fall bottoms out. There seems to be determined selling and little buying interest.
"......as I think it can't get lower" If only :-(
the brave come out. Someone just bought 138k worth. Hopefully a fund or a director. Very disappointed with today's update. I have been skinned on these. Holding on for now though as I think it can't get lower.
2 huge buys yesterday, something's afoot. These are massive for a relatively small company. This group plays it's cards very close to its chest and although it's own brand ranges are well established according to their web site, and their jersey royal acquisition completed there must surely be more than those,, ?
On Wednesday, Libero requests a halt to the rising share price and it duely stops. Perhaps if you're still of a mind to come in you could ask it to rise.
Increase in profitability over the reporting period but decrease in revenues due to a cooling of prices, which the company expects to remain under pressure for the rest of the year. With some valuation metrics allowing produce to appear cheap, I have some concerned when free cash low is compared to earnings. Net debt is a little high too. I cannot see momentum on this share price going in our favour over the next 6 months or so, as such I sold out braking even (after trading costs), but will look come back to this company end of year to consider the outlook further.
these results are disappointing. I'm quite surprised by this
