Tesla-tax
Mon 18:15

The Norwegian government wants to introduce a one-time tax for electric cars based on the weight. If the tax is introduced, it will mainly hit owners of the Tesla Model X, weighing up to 2 500 kilograms, significantly more than other electric cars in the market.

The motive for the new tax, which is already called "Tesla-tax", is that electric cars weigh more than ordinary cars, thus causing more wear and tear on the roads.

"The government is playing with the electric car market and acts in violation of the Storting's signals. Now the government's tax bomb has to be stopped in the budget negotiations, "said the Norwegian Electric Vehicle Association Secretary Christina Bu.

And there seem to be plans for a Swedish so-called "Tesla-tax".

A "future mileage tax for passenger cars" in Sweden is being investigated in projects funded by the Swedish Energy Agency, according to the Swedish Environment Institute. The purpose is to find out how to reduce emissions from passenger cars, while compensating for tax revenues as the number of petrol and diesel-powered cars on the roads decreases. It writes Dagens Industri .

"... starting to look at such solutions at the moment, sends completely wrong signals," said Mattias Goldmann, CEO of Tanker Fores, to DI.

Leif Jacobsson, State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, states that the government has no plans to introduce such a tax without the authorities themselves having taken their own initiative to investigate the possibility.

I'm hearing the Local BBC north West will be doing a piece

So we should get some real media coverage this week

I can imagine the references to back to the future De Lorean run your car on waste !!!

This little company in Chester is going to revolutionise the way we deal with land fill waste it will convert it into fuel for transport

And one of the first clients could be in the Morth Weat either Peel at Protos or the Cheshire CC as they are perfectly positioned to see all that is going on
And they have plenty of trucks that collect waste that could be converted to hydrogen you can see the angle for the story Cheshire CC can cut their diesel bills to Zero and run their refuse trucks and busses on Hydrogen generated from the collection of household and business waste in the county

Replicate this around the UK and you can see what we will be a ftse 350 company on years to come

What's not to be excited about this week !!!

Perhaps, its just a glitch on the phe Moneyam site, but the second trade times are a few seconds before the first trade, which is odd.
There were a few on the afc Moneyam site as well.

What is it with all these paired trades this morning? I've never seen it before and it's happening on both PHE and AFC today with the first of each listed trade timed at five or so seconds before the second trade.

I should have thought Wazzza that you would have been invited if the great & good or the pess had already been to see the mousetrap. To invite all those involved with waste disposal, vehicle manufacture and the press must involve hundreds of interested parties. Let's hope that even so, there will be considerable interest for, as has been mentioned, credibility has been a problem. Seeing is believing, particularly if the 25 toner is seen to be on its way..

Well this should be the week that gets PHE on more investors Radars I am sure we will get some media
/press coverage this week with the demonstration days!

Seems to be a little bit of buying interest this morning and I see AFC is heading back up again

As the Knowledge that we can produce pure quality Hydrogen from waste increases then more and more new investors will take a look IMHO
