LOAM dumped nearly 50% no doubt the max they could rather than just 38.5% very telling!
Small correction as per RNS release..LOAM down from 16.5% to 8.5%..
I expect the on market £3m buy back to accelerate as investors dump shares.
As others have already stated watch how LOAM acts and not what the Board guides!
This transaction was part of the tender I think. 16m shares involved with the date as yesterday which is when monies were released. Question is what they do next.
Seems LOAM don't expect any material orders from STM to arise anytime soon otherwise why cut their exposure selling 50% of their remaining 14.5% stake not a good sign of confidence!
This also castes firm doubts that next years 'cash breakeven' will be reached as 'guided' by the Board recently.
So the Board gives out one story to the market yet the insiders act differently.
Lombard Odier cutting their holding in half, could be a useful follow the money signal with their form for curiously impeccable timing.

I would caution against cherry picking one day of data to try and find a trend… they are spending, at this point in time, an average of £46,403 per day.
You now think the SP is going up? Why have you changed your mind? Was it the supply and demand thing?..
XenOn
That assumes they don't continue spending nearly a £100k a day buy back shares at over 23p given that funds pn tge £30m have been returned to imvestors and there seems no impetus to reinvest cash funds here rather than elsewhere.
TG2D
It is not odd at all. Nanoco, via its 3rd party, will buy its own shares at market rate. They will not wait for the SP to go up, or down.
How does your analysis lead you to believe the "£3m will be used by end of May at the latest"?
Statistically, Nanoco has been buying back their own shares at an average of £46,403 per day. This would, based on projections using the data available to us today, last 61 days - until 12th July.
If at any stage you would like my assistance with the impartial interpretation of any data please feel free to ask.
From your friendly neighbourhood Statistician
The buyback strategy appears odd the purchase per this mornings RNS, 426,439 shares at 23.322p on 16th April seems to be too high a price to pay implying that if the daily buying tare continues tge £3m will be used up by the end of May at the latest....Ivwould have expected the buy back to start at below 20p to enable more shares to be purchased say 15m+ rather than 13m which seems more likely given the 23p price being paid..
Bit cold but great weather today - just donned the old boots.
I'll keep an eye out for Mrs White !
They would need to announce based on the shares outstanding on the date of change.
The buyback at current levels would involve about 13m shares of the 200m left after the tender so only 6.5% of shares. So it could have an impact on the 1% barrier notifications but not every time they buyback. But there should be no delay in disclosing major shareholder changes and as said the date of the transaction not settlement is the trigger date.
Off this morning have fun play nice…especially you Professor Plum!
Thinking out loud. As the share buy back is on-going, the total number of shares from which voting rights are calculated is constantly shifting. So when it comes to TR1s they might be delayed until the buyback is finished… unless they’re required to issue a notice each and every time it changes?
Lol Xenon
Kooba, ok. When you finish watching the footie you will find me in the library.
*you’re
What scamming am I doing?
NGR1616
If you keep on spamming the BB your going to get banned!
Xenon I’m watching the footie not playing cluedo!
What say you TG? What are you talking about now?
NGR1616
You really don't know when to stop do you..
To coin a phrase troublesome uses often that I personally detest….lol Xenon
Kooba, do you think I am NigWit?
As an outsider looking in for so many years I always suspected NGR and Troublesome might be the same person. If they are, damn they are good! But eventually he/she will slip up and I'll be proved right... (apologies to you both)..
A dark side? Interesting. May the 4th is a few weeks away.
I’m glad you’ve said what you did. I appreciate that. I doubt I others could be so magnanimous.
In time perhaps we’ll reach common ground but whilst you throw rocks at the board I’ll be defending my investment for better or worse or poorer. The erosion of trust in the board has been in part played out by the actors here and not just themselves.
But the time for personal spats has passed. We all need to put it behind us because….well I’ve said it before and it doesn’t need repeating.
You have also been posting for far too long with the same id!! Nw blows their ids up frequently and goes off in a hissy fit. New accounts that suddenly post volumes do though raise doubts ..nw often surfaces all reasonable and educated like ..then descends rapidly into an abuse and chaos. Nasty Nige.
Me do I think you are NigWit..no.
Do I sense the dark side elsewhere yes..but not going to throw allegations.
Ngr we have had disagreements and you find me annoying and I find you annoying ..but I am very aware of nw methods and I do not see it in your posts, personally speaking.
Keep safe.
Life is too short.
