YHAL, not quite sure of the relevance. Why are MMX at a crossroads?

You said it Bakky. My fear with this lot is that they will make a pigs ear of whatever they are doing and ,that we will end up with the shite end of the stick. When you think that with a great acquisition like ICM they managed to cut our valuation in half.I think that’s like buying the best players and getting relegated?

I’m sure Blockchain is going to be an interesting development and I will give Mr Hall credit for his”out of the box thinking”,however,Crypto Blockchain is in its infancy and probably a few years from making an impact. Its not going to deliver a rerate for investors any time soon.We have known about the plans to link to others after Etherium ,Luxe hasn’t lived up to the even the lowest expectations, and I see no reason why any Blockchain development won’t start off in a similar low key way. Sorry guys ,this management is financial second /third division and the only way we are going to see a benefit is on the sale of the company.

SJL last year:
registering a .luxe will be the same a registering a .com and then you will be able to use the easy to use API tool at your domain registrar to "associate" your .luxe IDENTIFIER with your Ethereum wallet or smart contract address. The fact that Nic Johnson, who is viewed as the Ethereum Naming System pioneer and guru is working with MMX on .luxe on an exclusive basis with the linking API means that this is the "real deal".

And I seem to remember a comment by TH saying something like perfecting .Luxe to work with the ETH crypto wallet was akin to being there with Microsoft when they started..mmm anyone heard of Microsoft then? ..oh and Alibaba are apparently mad keen the developments in the crypto world...mmm yes that’s the same Alibaba that had a representative at the launch of .Luxe...coincidence NOT
Cheers

yes, I remember him saying that crypto and blockchain was basically pants and will not work, it's a fad, it's for criminals blah blah. Then pissed myself laughing when someone 'reminded' him that his own bank were developing their own crypto currency ha ha!
Make no mistake this is big news now that an organisation like JP Morgan are into the blockchain. It is only going one way imo. As you say YHAL, most people think the blockchain is only about crypto currency and walllets, well it's much much more than that.

Jamie Simon denigrated crypto early on because it would Uberise his business model. How times change.

ETHEREUM is key because it allows the development of decentalzed apps. Hard to get head around but it's a platform from which others can launch. It's important. It's more than just wallets and crypto.

MMX are onto something and it's bigger than just gTLD etc. They were the first to associate with a web address for Block chain and I would expect chances to partner with multiple with big names.

YHAL, the 'strategy plans' would have to be 'material' and likely to move the sp somewhat. Hopefully in an upward direction.

There are a plethora of big opportunities where Mmx can make money.

I agree Ezzza, the Alibaba contingency weren't there by accident and Tusrcan wasn't buying when he did by accident and not by accident SJL in now considered an insider.

All of this because of an imminent buy-out? No way. Too obvious.

It's something left field, a game changer, and my money is on some relationship in the blockchain/crypto arena that will light this up.

Crypto will be back, it isn't dead at all. Block chain hasn't even started yet.

There's every chance MMX is at a very useful junction between all these areas.

When everyone expects it, it doesn't happen.
It's fantasy.
I have no idea what changed his status but might it have been seeing some strategy plans?

I agree with YHAL...there is no sale of MMX on the cards currently and talk of a sale of the company at a share price in the teens for me is a no go. Far too cheap. The company owns one of the largest TLD portfolio's and therefore a growing recurring income stream, has no debt, money in the bank, have dealt with the mistakes of FK & AVC, consolidated the business with the purchase of ICM, have II's and "Turcan" increasing their number of shares held and and I am sure the .Luxe/ Crypto tie up could be huge for the company. I understand the frustrations of shareholders and the need for a return on investment but this will come. The current shareprice has no bearing to the true value of the company assets as per SJL's calcs made some weeks ago now. I wonder why the Alibaba geezer was with TH at the launch of .Luxe?? can't imagine he'd popped in for croissants and a latte. Interesting.

I am fairly sure that if something as important as a sale was on the cards then SJL would not have posted at all.He certainly would not have let slip that he was now 'inside'. So for me, a buyout is not on the cards, although something very definitely is.
As mentioned, it could well be something along the blockchain theme.

I could be wrong but im sure I read on here from one of sjl's posts that his latest venture was blockchain related so maybe he has been made privy to info that could be considered sp sensitive .... again just pure speculation

The only issue I can see in this area would be SJL's new business - a blockchain enabled age verification business to address the requirement for individuals to prove they are 18 or over to access adult web sites. That said - I think this is currently UK only - not sure this type of approach would be go down well in the US. SB

... as per previous rns.....could this be why sjl has gone radio silent?

Lastly, in relation to extending the number of blockchains supporting the .luxe naming convention, the Directors are pleased to report the Company is now in discussions with two further public blockchains. The Directors expect the integration of the next two blockchains into the .luxe family of supported zones to begin in H1 2019 at which point further details will be announced.

Forget it why exactly.? And what could be going on in the crypto world that would change SJL status to insider and prevent him from buying or selling? Let us dream of a buyout,it’s the only way out ,it’s parole from this management .

Spot on Taproot.... bod happy taking their salaries .... offer needs to be attractive enough to persuade major shareholders to accept. .....but is sjl alluding to a sale?... think peeps jumping to conclusions is more likely, it could be another blockchain initiative as mentioned in a previous rns ... hopefully proven wrong and we get a sale at 16p ... not getting my hopes up tho based on the history of this share
