Why do the bbc give away free advertising on the evening news, for Facebook and their digital currency to be launched next year?

Why could it not have been Tallymoney!

If all the FAANG companies are planning their own “Coins” and just tethering them to fiat currencies is not exactly disruptive but bitcoin is still viewed as too risky/volatile. Tally becomes an obvious choice of challenger currency

Face book Libra
How many people will trust this currency? with Facebooks history of data gathering and sharing without permission !
Tally backed by Gold and if they could promote being free of selling customers data could be a huge selling point .

I am personally not bothered whether this relists or not, its never concerned me.
If it gets to a point where its making tons of money, I will easily reap dividends

And to be frank wouldnt surprise me if CP did another U Turn
and like any product Tally could fail but it wont completely fail - could be a slow burner

Repeating the obvious ad-nauseum seems rather a very lonely place

I had a corporate notice from my broker confirming the name change of the company and they have appropriately changed the name of the asset I held - in this case Lionsgold to Tally

That on its own does not mean anything apart from name change.

Yep, I noticed I now have shares in Tally Ltd on HL too. Staying Positive.

A general comment aimed at somebody who is looking at other opportunities. So why do you spend so much time spouting your drivel on here? Nobody is really interested..

IPO

Even if this thing relists there will be a mass exodus out of sheer relief at not losing money.

But that's academic conjecture.

IPO? - No chance.

This is gone folks. Best to focus your attention elsewhere, as I'm doing.

Haregreaves Landsdowne have changed my Lionsgold holding to Tally Ltd.

I would imagine that the IPO is coming sooner than I thought.

Can I take this opportunity to thank CP, RH & the team for being exceedingly clever & making Tally a reality.

Buy low, spend high - invest in Gold & I’m personally using this as my holiday saving fund, with no FX fees attached when I’m abroad.

Also why the Lionsgold website is still up? Is BigMJ still a director ? Was a very odd reply to him on twitter asking if he had signed up for Tally.

Has anyone read about Facebooks crypto offering ? Not blockchain and based on a stable basket of assets. Massive threat to the big banks, and launches next year.

If Tally get this right, they could be bought out before we even make it to a listing.

I agree that the move away from blockchain was for the best for mass take-up. The bitcoin bubble burst and cost a lot of neive people money. People who we will likely try to target to take up tally.

Why the change from blockchain to central ledger? Who knows, though I suspect this was done as they were struggling with getting it working properly, and railsbank became an easy "out" for them. This is why all the delays, they were essentially buildling it from scratch again last year.

All imo of course, but Reading between the lines, this is close to the truth I think.

I still feel the real proposition was actual gold monetisation, the block chain thing was a distraction in my view, the product has been reworked in the meantime (unless of course there was no intention of decentralised register from the outset?) they may have been spooked by the bitcoin bubble bursting, hence re rename and change of direction, I think for the better but maybe just me.
I am very relaxed and prepared to wait but each to their own. I see the change during suspension as opportunistic and sensible and am not worried about it. Cannot see the point of relisting before the product is growing and there is market awareness, which is what I was trying to say earlier but I churned out some bolox…
this is the risk part , hope we get the reward but feel we have to wait a bit more yet

Devils advocate here, as I didn't buy it for anything other than a trade, but goldbloc is nothing like what tally is. Goldbloc was decentralized using blockchain.

So really nobody knew what they were buying before suspension did they?

IPO

why dont we try and value this company by ourselves
IPO price is not going to be too high
but whoever will pay would just want return

and that's where the problem is

so chillax for 6 months not much can happen
let Tally take off and make its impact

Mikey nobody knew what they were buying before suspension, it was originally suspended due to a fundamental change of business through the acquisition of TRAC for the purpose of launching Goldbloc, not Tally.

You do know you don't need to "understand"a share to trade it don't you? The suspension should never have happened. Had it been broadcast beforehand that it was coming not one person, nobody, would have stayed in. Investor or trader, whatever.

Stop trying to be smug about the situation.

RE: Relist

They can relist in early 2020 for all I care. I'd rather we be able to demonstrate considerable value in our company at the IPO than have load of wingeing traders who didn't understand what they were buying jump out on an rushed re listing. Like I have said before, CP cares about shareholders (those that hold shares and want to see this product become a success) NOT share traders (those with little interest in the company and just want their liquidity back). I'm sorry to say I have little sympathy if you are the latter. Get this product on the map and then re-list the longer we wait the higher chances other investors that actually understand the product and potential here can scoop up the weak sellers following the IPO. The more the message gets out there, the more of those investors there will be.

I think that's roughly what bassguy was trying to say too.

Where did you hear they are struggling with the pre-IPO raise?

CP was banging on about how demand was great and pre IPO doing well? Not that his words mean much tbf
