If we’re self-correcting, and predictive text correcting:
Obviously that noble prize, is in fact, the Nobel prize!
I blame, entirely, predictive... and lack of proof reading.

Also, talking about noble, taking the strain of posting at the moment, is noble in itself. So darn difficult, I could darn everyone’s socks instead, in the time it takes.

Have you heard yet, degsie?
Only joshing.....

As you say degsie had to put a solid value on some of our assets
but one given is the requirement for Rare Earths in particular the
super glue of modern technology will not go away.
Will be worth far more than many of us think especially if China
maintain its stance on keeping its stocks in China
KDNC will reap the benefits of its investments the big question
is WHEN !

Oh! Well done, degsie.
I look forward to hearing, when you hear, if you want to share.

I’ve not emailed the company before. Rather slothfully, I rely of others. Which is probably far from perfect.
Those webbyjobbies were good, and a great way to ask stuff. And to receive an open forum response.

It would be good to receive a valuation every quarter. Especially since we have more than one broker.
Or, at the end of an RNS, a one-liner saying how much, in hard dosh, that particular RNS would add, or subtract to the value of Cadence. Directly. Still free to dream........

Ooh! Yay! Degsie. That is exactly what I would love to hear! And a bit more.....

As we have received RNS’s, laying out actual amounts being laid out to complete this, that or another, with certain assets, in order to, hopefully extract an estimated amount of material for an estimated period of time.....at an estimated cost, and ergo, guesstimated profit, based on price-per-tonne.....

And RNS’s directed at a number of our assets....with future plans and companies who are interested in investing/are investing......

I’m at a loss as to why either: one or more of our very able shareholder posters cannot come to some amount,
Or
Why we haven’t had an up-to date broker valuation.

Ps I should add that I checked the Nobel prize thing, and it seemed to be true.

Because, I was so pleased that someone else knew what I was talking about. And that they added to the story.

Serendipity....
Wed 07:59
If we’re talking about good things which come to those who are delayed, deliberately, or by circumstances...
(And boy, I’ve aged waiting years for cadence to do it’s thing)

My favourite one is the helibacter pylori story:
The doctors doing research were sure that it was a bacteria, and ergo treatable with antibiotics, which caused some ulcers.
Usually tests were chucked out after 2 days. I think the documentary I saw (too many years ago to remember when) said that these were set up in the dish/dishes before a long w/end. So, with longer to grow they did. Someone told me recently, that a Noble prize was duly dished out. (As per usje, I may be out on the details.....forgive me)

Acuteperception, I’m rather looking for the ‘chronic’ or ‘forward-looking’ perception of the value of our share.
We get all those RNS’s which spout and sprout the billions which the assets will be, forward-looking. And somehow...... not a lot......and, complaints on the 2 asset boards I’m able to read here too...

When I bought my original shares here, at over a shiny penny, (and all the shares I buy, in all companies):
I am not buying them to be worth what they are on that day.
But what they hopefully will become. Based on their assets, and what the BoDs will do with them to enhance their value. It’s still free to dream........

You sure about that MJ

Link 1 says it was French monks in Champagne who admittedly by accident appear to have discovered it....remainder (dated earlier & later) says it was invented by English Cider makers experimenting with sugar & the French half inched it or by accident from leaving still wine standing !!

Not bothered either way though was just bored so thought I'd check it out :-)

@Bannor - good suggestion. I also intend on digging in to each listed company a bit more. Some of the value in each is underplayed. Most have a variety of projects on the go, other than EMH.
My idea is the snowball effect that will require us to make some sales to keep reinvesting. Logically this is most likely to come from BCN JVs or Yangibana. Its too early to divest from the listed shares as none are anywhere near full value. We need £6m from somewhere though.
What is the best way to host/share/link research on here? Google docs or something? I could just make a wordpress website!

I have a little but not much time & less than a reasonable number of grey cells to ad contribution, but I think you're NON- listed assets should be broken down further in respect to potential & impact:

The JV(s) could be sold anytime (fingers crossed & hoping) if that happens for anything that might be considered a truly reflective value this could blow us out of orbit - happy days for many as no more me to constantly dig & jibe at our so called board for what they have (& haven't) done & delivered over the years.

Then there are the rest all of which could create potentially significant debt &/or dilution (unless a prior JV sale pays for it) on the 'hope' of recovering existing or generating sufficient cause for creating new mining opportunities.

If the latter comes before the former there's potentially more pain (& perhaps significant) to come .... of course with the Minigas track record so far that's also assuming they have finished us off with debt & dilution before a sale of a JV (or 2) sees the back of me. :-)

Not the afternoon I was expecting after the sound-sounding RNS’s.
Not the finish y’day after that RNS.

However, great board to learn stuff from:
MSG, I didn’t know that.
Are you saying that if I leave some old brandy out for long enough, it will morph into champers?

mr.james don't sell in case something fresh comes but we've already been told KDNC need 6m for the amapa deal. perhaps when funds raised for that plus contingency would be a good time for averaging down here. i've been in and out here but will look for entry if /when that happens

They are an investment company - whether they are any good or not remains to be seen. This is simply a play on the junior mining market with diversified risk - junior market is at multi year lows at the moment so no wonder this is hardly setting the world on fire.

Can anyone tell me when we actually had a RNS about KDNC , I know there was 2 today about other companies and their performances that was great , Wonderful , we actually dropped a few dots again , There is something not right here can't work it out right now , The only thing i see about KDNC Direct is Directors purchases that they bought with the money KDNC gave them they actually gave some money towards the kitty to keep their salary for another while , Am i missing something here , We dropped from 1.17 to something like 0.1225 some thing is wrong along the line , G L A I still hold 40million + share for all they are worth now could not be bothered selling them , They can keep them i just put it down to a bad gamble some you loose some you win G L A

KDNC Numbers Game - Part 1
Tue 13:39
So I've decided to try and better understand how we are being valued by the market. Part 1 is to work out how much of our valuation is derived from our investments in listed companies. The formatting on here is strange so read as follows (Project/investment > Market Cap > KDNC Ownership % > KDNC Valuation £)

EMH > £32.2M > 19% > £6,129,645
MMS > £30.1M > 9.8% > £2,951,782
BCN > £45.5M > 1.7% > £775k
AOU > £5.5M > 6.5% > £360K
CLY > £3.5M > 3.9% > £140k
Total - £10,352,171M
Therefore of our £12.5M market cap, £10.3M is listed investments and £2.1M is for our non-listed investments

non-listed investments are:
-30% Sonora JVs
-30% Yangibana north
-24% Lithium Tech & Lithium Supplies
-100% Greenland rare earth license
- 27% Amapa Iron Ore Mine

Part 2 will be to work out how to put a sensible valuation on our non-listed assets (Greenland is a negative cost at the moment for example as we do not look anywhere near to developing it). Any ideas?
Part 3 will be to work out how much further dilution is likely to come at project level and our own corporate level (hint-lots) and how this may affect the underlying share prices
Part 4 will be to work out therefore what a base case fair value price for us over the next 5 years :)

Anyone care to join me on this quest (yes I am bored and have some time on my hands)
