Macarthur Minerals
Sat 22:18
Cameron McCall, Executive Chairman of Macarthur Minerals commented;

"I am extremely excited to see Glencore's commitment to purchase Macarthur's production over the long term. Securing this approximately US$4 billion purchase arrangement ensures consistent long-term revenue to the Company. Seeing a commitment of this size validates our resource and project and puts Macarthur in a position to maximize value to our shareholders. Macarthur's management is pursuing debt financing discussion with European banks and international financial institutions. Achieving this key milestone is the beginning for Macarthur to transition into a large scale global resource production company. A project of this size will provide long term Western Australian job creation for a generation, especially in the local region of the proposed iron ore mines and for the port workforce in Esperance."

Macarthur’s ~1,300km2 lithium portfolio in the Pilbara has now had all Exploration Licences granted and the Company has been been advancing discussions with potential partners to further the geological investigation of these tenements.

Very likely we will see a JV with our hard rock lithium.
Maybe next is iron ore project financing and another iron ore agreement?

@TC, they may well do shortly if they acquire MMS wholly with their lithium projects in Australia and Nevada.
If they are interested...With DL involved, I'm pretty sure he'd have promoted KDNC and dare I say BCN.

LoL ... no I was right the first time ... our 10% of MMS is worth £1.6M so for every 5c they rise it's worth .01 per KDNC share..... GARDEN !!!

Yes, our Sonora jv is the wild card here. The bcn funding deal is the key to this being unlocked.

As I have stated before a major cornerstone partner would [and more to the point could afford to]
quickly develop as much of the area as possible imv, to maximise return.

Given that scenario our jv would be in the mix. Not a certainty, but a possibility at least,

... not sure if you're querying my calcs IVY but I absolutely agree with you & I got my DP In the wrong place (sorry) .... £16.7M divided over 7.8bn KDNC shares is a shade over .2p per share .... so with MMS price at 10c currently that equates to 0.1 per KDNC share for every 5c of MMS SP (based on current KDNC SCAP).

Now it really is time for the garden... good weekend...

Cameron Mccalls twitter looks interesting on 21 March. Specifically the part where he thanks "bankers". Could this be that something has already been agreed? Further back there was site visits in Feb by institutional investors.

Imo - financing news could land quickly here. Glencore have likely done a significant amount of due diligence as well.

Not challenging any other figures but my reckoning of MMS mcap value to kdnc is £1.7m
Can$29.73m mcap = £16.70m x 10.1%. Ignoring any entitlement to future net income.

With the backing of Glencore off take agreement I would expect funding for the mining
development to be arranged fairly quickly. As we all know, confirmation of full funding
does wonders for a company's sp. So I am positive here, future for MMS seems secure.

They are set Togo commercial with their first major contract for the life of the mine .
1) Will Glencore Buy our 10%
2) will 10% of MMS M Cap cover our whole M Cap within a month , as they are set to go commercial ! .
3) Will MMS wantto buy the 10% back , at what price ?
4) I need to read but , is there a clause that we can upour 10% at a set max .

Hi Ivy ... for me although the MMS news is really very good the deal is only worth a lot of money to MMS, the values for us is what it does to their MCAP ... which put a simply a I can for my own benefit means that for every 5c they rise it adds .01p of value to our direct asset holding of them (it's rough & based on our current SCAP).

They 1 bagged yesterday so you could argue that even at 100% our rise on the back of their announcement was massively overdone.... however you could also be of the opinion that we're not valued properly in any event as none of the 'potential' is priced in & maybe the announcement woke everyone up to that.

Personally speaking without more news & with the weekend to work it all out properly I suspect we may see a continuance of the retrace into next week - but let's wait & see, it may hold ... hell it may even go back up ... this is AIM.

regardless as with this announcement I won't be selling (nor buying more I'm exposed here enough) my game & interest (as you & most LTH's here know) ends when Sonora is sorted, I have little to no faith or trust in our BoD & think our previous CEO is nothing more than a gobby Snake oil salesman who has Narcisistic personality disorder - but those as you know are just my opinions.

Sun's out & time to get out in the garden... as we found out this week this can move really really fast on news (must have been great to see for you !!) - just imagine what will happen as/when/if something of real substance hits in regard to Sonora (assuming the Minigases don't give it away for peanuts or swap it for something)
