With a number of additional prospects at Verbier and elsewhere on the licence such as Cortina, being assessed by the JV and reviewed with the help of the new seismic data shot last year there are genuine grounds for optimism. In addition, the 31st Supplementary Offshore Licence Round has the opportunity to create a new area hub that would create value across the area. The company remains well funded with y/end cash of £19.8m less around £5m to contribute to the Verbier well so with a number of potential ‘catalysts’ the worst looks to be behind the company, directors buying shares also helps.

That's what Malcy thinks, although I don't cite him as an authority.

LONGWAIT, it has been a good day to watch for once, the BOD seemed to calmed a few nerves.

I had a look at the price this morning and it was up 4 p.

I've just got home and my feeling was that, with continued optimism on the part of the management, the price could have gone much higher while I was out.

I've just checked and it seems it finished up 11.5 p.

It may have bottomed out.

I haven't seen all today's posts yet, but I have a feeling there won't be one from TriggerSaysDave.

Spirits rising

U2170 has finally started to rise away from the seabed after Graybird suggested that we fire all our torpedoes to lighten the sub and blow me down it has worked. Also able to clarify how much air we have left and it was more than the crew had thought. If we can get the enigma machine working again we can receive the information needed on how to blow the tanks which are jammed and that will surely send us back to the service. Before we put to sea clear instructions were issued to send gifts of new potatoes to Tommy and DUM and these have clearly arrived.

I was born in 1980, i would have probably preferred the 70's lol.

A silver lining though is when i go Senile ill hopefully never forget my age with the 2019, 20 + 19 and so on formula.

Although still a way to go, the 70's sure look better than the 50's.

RE: Final Results

Thx Dick...just seen it as I read the RNS on my phone and overlooked it. Saw it on the other board first and was stunned. Never seen the map being layed out like that with the proximities etc. Not sure how deep the 10 year well was exactly but I think it wasn't too far of from our sidetrack at Verbier. Not wanna make any assumptions but it would only make sense if JOG alone or with partners would get that license next door since they already have spent a lot in discovering Verbier and doing the 3D seismic on their block. If the OGA wants to drive a hub forward than this would be the only logic way to achieve that or am I completely wrong in thinking that? Can they just award a license because it makes sense to do so or does it have to go via bids etc? Any experts who can help with some knowledge out there?

bullson - the 'map' you linked is the same as the one linked in this morning's RNS (in the CEO's statement I think?).

Reads positively to me

Simon Thompson, who has a very loyal band of followers, has reitereated his buy note this am...which might help explain the start of a bounce...he liked JOG at £2.07...which caused the spike to £2.50...he likes it very much here...fingers crossed.

You have bought 15,000 shares then GB as a top up ?

That's how many Marcus Stanton bought last time out @ 68p

PT...That's the way I see it unless JOG have other plans & don't go it alone ?
