Striking volume of shares changing hands in the first half hour of trading.
Maybe we should take them over?
Not sure if this is Copper360 which listed on the JSE last April, it has traded in a range R 2.30 to R 20.00 with 698,351,660 shares issued. They have concluded a deal to buy the mine next door with a concentrator, funded by an offtake agreement with Fujax UK Limited. I have no opinion on this company other than they seem to have moved very quickly
to get deals done, time will tell if they can produce copper at volume and profitably.

Thanks Happydays43 -you mention a copper play opening at 40p-big question -how many shares are there and hence what is the over all valuation .?
300 million shares would be completely different from JLPs 3 billion for example
Patience will be rewarded
Traded here has slowed to a trickle . Seems to me that nobody is selling and the only way to get some trades is move it on upwards . I still will not be selling though .

Come to think of it, the Zambian business could be listed as it stands today and it would probably list at around 10P or even more with all the hype around the much needed green metal.
Their was a new junior copper miner/tailings recently listed on the JSE and on opening it jumped to around 40p. They don't even produce yet.
I personally feel that once Zambia is fully established they will be able to split their businesses into two separate entities thus creating even more value for shareholders.
Leon is always looking at the bigger picture hence why they decided to go into copper 4 years ago and it's about to pay huge dividends, pardon the pun.
Why would JLP allow themselves to be taken over by a company that doesn't even have a market cap of £400 mill?
And hopefully we will tell then to F o££ in a very polite way of course. Either that or its' at least 1£ a share.
As soon as Roan is up and running at new Name Plate capacity Jubilee will have Large Caps banging on their door. I would expect a MASSIVE RERATE.
Bring on end of April!
Of his three stock picks, Redelinghuys was most bullish about mid-sized gold producer Pan African Resources because “things are looking fairly rosy for the gold price”, he explained.
The high gold price means Pan African Resources is likely to pay substantial dividends in years to come.
The company recently announced a new project to increase its gold production by 50%. This is a significant expansion of operations, which the company’s CEO says will bring down costs substantially.
Redelinghuys praised the company for being future-minded, saying they have a young and dynamic management team. An early adopter of solar PV, the company also invests heavily in renewable energy.
He highlighted Jubilee Metals Group as a comparable investment, which he has favoured over Pan African Resources in the past. However, he warned that Jubilee may be a take-over target for Pan African Resources.
Pan African Resources’s share price has grown by over 200% in the past five years and currently sits at a price-to-earnings ratio of just over 7.

More money from the races in cheltam
Someone hoovering up the option shares I guess. There shouldn't be many left now, I think half of them went in one trade last week.
400k buy....looks like money from hum.....moving into the jlp smart money
Bit of a bloodbath over there I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
The joys of frontier markets!
Very good to see strong chrome and copper prices and so far a moderate recovery in PGM prices-looking very good especially if copper output targets meet.-chrome very cash generative at the moment
If you want some fun -take a trip to the HUM board -an old friend is suffering hum hum
"Glycine can leach most of the nonferrous transition base metals, specifically copper, but also nickel, cobalt and zinc. It is also capable of leaching precious metals under certain conditions - gold, silver, some of the platinum group metals, and finally lead under special circumstances. Various minerals leach at varying speeds and different chemical conditions. As an example, all copper minerals except silicates and copper that is chemically bound within iron oxides are leached by glycine. Leaching takes place at pH values between approximately 8 and 12.5, with the higher pH values being used to leach the sulphides and in particular CHALCOPYRITE. This supplies the base needed to fix the Fe that is leached from this mineral. In contrast to acid leaching, Fe, Mn, Ca, Mg and many other elements are simply not put into solution. There is no soluble unfixed Fe to deal with, or difficult solids like jarosite to dispose of."
Maybe we should phone BMW!
Someone should let BMW know they've backed the wrong horse. If onlybthey were as clever as us.
The Draslovka solution can also deal with Chalcopyrites, which make up the majority of copper resources, Charles, so we are well ahead of Jetti in that we are actually operational and profitable for years. But the ROM opportunities open to us are far richer than low grade suplhides which is why that is where JLP is focussing in the near term.
Some 75% of global copper reserves are to be found in low grade sulphide ores at depth or associated with waste on surface. The major problem with these reserves is that they can not be treated economically with traditional acid leaching measures, which are in themselves very detrimental to the environment.
Jetti Resources in the states has just raised $200m towards finding new leaching agents, to treat low grade copper sulphide ores, with BMW taking a stake in the company. Hence I can well understand Slater's interest in JLP.
However I get more and more desperate for a progress report from JLP , and the market appears to follow my feelings.
There's another one who never contributes anything worth reading 😂
Yeah now we only got super bulls on the board. Sure thing share price is going only in one direction.
