It's in for a planned rudder stock change out. Work should take 10 days
The name has changed but the shares that we sold you for 45p just a short few months ago are still worth 17.5p now.
Oh and the ones we sold you the other month at 30p are the same.
oldtramp ref 13.17 post thanks for that the vessels database on the site has it in Larne.
It is in dry dock now Stokey

The Belfast Harbour website is showing European Causeway as berthed in the Dry Dock until 4 October. However the www.vesselfinder.com website has it in Larne. Does anyone have confirmation as to which is right.
Chrisatrdg ref 11.51 post With lick by the time they are operational HARL would have secured sufficient contracts that it would not be much of a problem. Do you know who has the larger footprint?
Can anyone explain why we’re valued 5million less than the amount of contracts won in the last 5 months
That combined with the value of the infrastructure and its clear we’re massively successful undervalued.
The uk defence contract followed by the several ship deal in October and more should the catalysts to start a consistent uptrend to a credible valuation.
Plan to revive Ardersier port for offshore turbine work

To my mind it's absolutely crazy that a decision one way or another hasn't been made on the Marine Licence. This is why I have always thought something about this decision is outside of whatever the standard process.Gas is, at this moment in time, the answer to the transition from coal etc until we have greener solutions.Governments have to invest in the future and it will cost far more to deal with the effects due to inaction now.Gas power stations further up the coast from island magee have approval and infa had approval for the well they drilled in the island magee area only a few years ago.Makes no sense at all .
If ML was approved next week surely this would rocket launch the SP given it would get far more publicity than we might have expected
Just checked the Belfast Harbour website and cross checked with Vesselfinder.com and Dorset Spirit is now showing as arriving tomorrow morning two days early. I am not sure if this means it will be moored up just outside the harbour.
If I was in the PR department, I would bombard every news, media outlet with the story of ministerial incompetence at the many years IM has been delayed despite being shovel ready. Its a risk of antagonising Poots but might get public attention and force his hand...positively, of course

Renewable energy is all very well, but how far will the wind carry us?
Chris Horn: Keeping the lights on as the grid stutters will become an all-consuming challenge

OSLO/LONDON, Sept 22 (Reuters) - "European gas storage levels are at their lowest in at least 10 years ahead of the crucial winter heating season, exacerbating the risk of further price spikes from already record-high levels."
"In European countries and Britain combined, storage sites are currently around 72% full, compared with 94% full at the same time last year".....
......"The low levels seen now - shortly before the end of the re-stocking phase in Europe's gas market - are a cause for concern, market observers say."......
......"Gas storage was emptied last winter due to strong demand, exacerbated by relatively weak renewables generation and strong underlying power demand, James Huckstepp, manager of EMEA gas analytics at S&P Global Platts, told Reuters."
"Power and gas demand has also been strong in Asia which pulls LNG away from Europe. This has combined with a global supply crunch and limited injections this summer, resulting in record-low stocks as we enter the heating season"
Minister for Small Business challenged directly on storage capability run down on Today Radio 4 programme (8:12) this morning. Seemed quite desperate trying to justify the current position.
Interesting comment from JW on this LinkedIn post from Invest Northern Ireland https://www.linkedin.com/posts/hollandkevin_northernireland-foreigndirectinvestment-activity-6846546136862351360-ZG7s The post reads 'Northern Ireland in Newsweek!
Powerful article published this week in Newsweek Country Reports about business in #NorthernIreland. I shared some of the success stories I've seen from our own companies and from international investors experience here and where I see the region going as industries rebound and Northern Ireland transforms.
Look up Newsweek.com for 20 pages of fantastic interviews with four of our universities; investors like KPMG and Seagate Technology ; several of our home-grown companies across technology, life sciences, agriculture and manufacturing; and key local industry bodies.
It gives a great overview of the many benefits of working in and with Northern Ireland. Come talk to us Invest Northern Ireland.
Read the full report here: https://bit.ly/3ki3YEv' JW's comment was 'Just a shame Invest NI has no interest in companies like Harland and Wolff and Islandmagee Energy who have invested substantial sums into Northern Ireland. Certainly not as keen to welcome investement and business as is indicated.'
Seems like JW has sought investment from Invest Northern Ireland who are not keen to invest.
