Company to Ring Opening Bell June 14 to Bring Awareness to Addiction Treatment;
Company Will Maintain Premium Listing on London Stock Exchange
My guess is not much until first official earnings after the listing? So July/August?
Starts on Monday 12 June - will be interesting to see what that does to SP. Quiet enough today after a strong surge this week.
Thanks, idk. No, I steer clear of Social Media.
Thanks for the tip on Value Investors Club - many of the ideas on that platform seem well considered unlike the gumph on many other sites.
Yup, really nice. Just gave me and doubtless others here an unexpected opportunity to top up at ~£15 before resuming the upwards march. Next stop £20 and then an assault on the all time high?
3 months worth of losses almost recovered in 3 days.
ShearClass, xtw2, mythaar, are you guys on any other platforms like twitter? Would be nice to get a group chat going with fellow shareholders. I'm in a telegram group for another UK stock I'm in (Kistos).
Value Investors Club discussion on INDV stock.
Thanks, idkmybffjill.
Ditto ShearClass question: Where is the quote from please?
That is the power of branding !
Yep I gathered that from the RNS, where is this quote from?
“ This settlement is only for a portion of the potential liability. The MDL covers the states (41 states and DC), direct purchasers (distributors), and end payors (insurance companies). Therefore, this $102.5m settlement only covers the first of the three potential liabilities.
Despite not being a full resolution of the MDL, we believe this is positive as INDV lost almost $1bn of market cap following the announcement of the MDL provision. The $102.5m which is being described as "in line" with the initial provision should give investors some confidence that the ultimate settlement amount will not exceed the $290m provision. This is important because part of the overreaction was when management stated that the settlement amount "could ultimately be higher or lower". Assuming they settle for $290m, INDV should recover a substantial portion of the loses incurred after they announced Q4 earnings.
INDV is most likely trying to settle all of these liabilities before officially listing in the US (June 12th), so there could be further announcements this week. “
That is fascinating. Aren't the generics supposed to literally be identical to Suboxone?? How are they causing issues lol
It's interesting looking back at Suboxone revenue - in Q1 2020 they reported $124m of suboxone revenue with market share of 22%. Fast forward 3 years and suboxone has only declined to $113 with market share of 19% despite multiple generics entering the market. The take away is that Suboxone clearly has strong brand loyalty or the generics don't work nearly as well. A quick google suggests a bit of both.
I.e. https://suboxnashville.com/generic-suboxone-films-causing-withdrawals-rashes-and-stomach-aches-alvogen-dr-reddys-santoz/
Not to mention revenue growth next year from OPVEE.
The only big ? is how much Suboxone revenue we will see going forward. Right now, market share has been stable. But a 4th generic enters the market later this year...will it make a difference? Maybe not.
Alkermes (ALKS) is a NASDAQ listed pharma that market another opoid dependence drug (vivitrol). Their Q1 revenues were $287m with $96.7m of this coming from vivitrol, up from $84.7m in the prior year. They're trading at an enterprise value of $4.5b, so EV/Sales ratio is ~3.9.
INDV is forecasting 2023 sales of $1.01b and has a current EV of ~$2.4b, so is on an EV/Sales of just 2.3x
Gives INDV has significantly faster sales growth, higher gross margins & has now removed the legal overhang I think there is significant upside potential over the coming weeks post next Monday's NASDAQ listing. Aligning with the Alkermes EV/s would put the share price at around £26...
Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be archived. You need to subscribe in advance of the quarterly calls (usually 1pm on day that results are announced). I can't temember how I did it but they send you a link in advance of thecall. The calls ladt about 45 minutes and are very useful. The next one will be towards the end of July.
Where can I listen to this? Is there a transcript?
Yes, Mark Crossley was saying that he appreciated the concerns about the litigation, but that they were progressing matters. He said he was limited/ restricted in what he could say on the matter but you could read between the lines that positive developments were happening in the backgrpund.
“Great news and at the last presentation, they were strongly hinting that they were progressing well with the mediation to settle.”
Was this from the commentary? I didn’t see anything in the slides that particularly hinted at this
Great news and at the last presentation, they were strongly hinting that they were progressing well with the mediation to settle. I was fearful a few weeks ago that this had stalled somewhat, so a relief.
They would have been desperate to have this matter resolved prior to Nasdaq listing, so kudos to them for getting it out of the way in time - should be a good run to come now!
Great News! Nothing to hold us back now. Hopefully this will fly on Monday!
This is excellent news. They settled for about 1/3 of the charge they took.
Wait no, I read that wrong!!
It’s only $102 million??
