Some neighbours have responded and presented their objections. It is weird to see people living far from Glentworth to object, as well. The two main worries are "we're moving green, baby" and "excessive trucking", the latter being a fair point, but with 16 HGV/day during operation, it does not seem high enough to cancel the project. I guess iGas could spend some money on Glentworth roads to lessen neighbours' reluctancy.

Big jump in sp , someone making a move?
Sp on the move again, and so it should. Atb
Imo the latter part of this interview says it all,
It’s all about to begin this year and we’re in read for it.
SP is going to move up fast this week imo. Atb all.
Strong buy..

Exciting time ahead, soon as igas get the all clear to start drilling in Staffordshire for the delivery of geothermal we will rocket as we will be in higher demand than SSE,
It’s great that SSE have chosen us as the only company to drill the green geothermal well’s for their Staffordshire pipeline network to deliver the deep wells and the heat required to supply the massive mkcap Comte.
SSE mkcap if 18 billion, igas 26m. Wow, we must be the best for a company worth 18 billion to choose such a low mkcap company, imho buy as many share’s possible as are mkcap is about to rocket and this is from fact’s not ramp.
We’re dealing with the big boys now and they don get much bigger than SSE.
News is about to come and the wait will be all well worth it.
Very exciting year ahead and a massive uplift with the sp as stated. So undervalued it’s a license to print money as a shareholder. DYOR.
All happening early this year. Excellent share to be in 2023 imho.
So anytime soon I believe. Atb.

Very quiet on the board today
Omg lol, I’m old enough to remember that advert, That’s made my night, I love it.
Liked it so much i posted it twice lol. Atb
As are ceo Chris Hopkinson clearly stated that in 2023 we will introduce are first executed geothermal project and we are the leader in the uk for geothermal and we have plans and opportunities to progress with geothermal throughout the uk.
SSE have chosen igas to deliver the wells and the heat that’s required for geothermal. SSE is a 18 billion mkcap company, and us at 28m lol,
We’re fully funded and have backing funds from the government towards renewable energy, IGAS recently paid 2.5m off are very small debt bond. I’ll keep posting this proactive interview as it’s a fact that igas is about to get recognised.
Dyor and enjoy…

Brent is at about $84 now.
High oil prices still have not been fully priced into the valuation of Igas.
One more way to generate electricity from geoheat:
3. Use geoheat to run a stirling pump fluid up into the upshaft of a loop system,
where it would enter a reservoir on the surface for storage, then release the flood gate into the downshaft and run a hydro-turbine. If the depth is 3km straight down, the flow is uninterrupted & free-falling; then the flow speed could get to ridiculous values of hundreds of mph which would be unprecedented for hydropower.
Potentially, it's not just heat energy that can be produced.
As I suggested before:
With the right tech, electricity can be generated even at low temps like 60 deg C.
There are two ways to do this that I can see:
1. Use the heat with an anaerobic digester on the surface to stimulate methane biogas production(or hydrogen - certain types of bacteria can do this) , then use the gas for production of electricity, distribution to the grid or for chemical industry.
2. Use the heat in a bank of Industrial Stirling Engine Generators, in a building on on the surface.
Short termers out...we are blue and moving north to the first target of 30p
Putting cash generated during high commodity prices to work into maximising recovery from our existing assets and developing near term incremental production opportunities as well as growing our nascent geothermal business into a material enterprise..Short termers out expecting going north to 50p pluss market cap way too cheap IMO
Yes one thing Truss got right was the fracking only to be overturned of course by the green brigade bloody scandal we are all paying through the nose because of those idiots.Nice big rise here but still way undervalued.IMO
I am sure there are firms in Germany who can drill holes in the ground. The advantage Igas have is familiarity with the UK planning systems and the real estate they hold 'rights' over.
Why have Germany not started to use IGas there must be unlimited scope they need invest big style surely they cannot be bigots not like the stupid government that we have. We have the ostrich syndrome the MP Bury their heads in the sand and let the world go sailing by.
https://www.energymanagermagazine.co.uk/second-phase-of-stoke-on-trents-heat-network-is-under-way/ old news but still very relevant
Totally agree with you mate but I expect the sp to rise considerably, SSE has stated that their a transitional company now just like IGAS/ GT energy, Geothermal is definitely to best way to deliver endless amounts of heat energy to all homes and businesses in the uk and throughout the world, good on us to help rest carbon in future energy and we’re at the front foot.
All the best mate.
