Almost all of the SP growth took place before admission to top 100.
Solid company, solid investors, solid results but market sentiment is against the sector at the moment.
I do agree with you however was wondering if by leaving the FTSE 100 would that send it lower still?
The question isn’t how low can this go - the question is how high will it go on the other side.
All the fundamentals are strong and Howden will come out the other side with profits and an even bigger market share as smaller competitors exit the market.
Tough going just now but represents a buying opportunity for me.
How low can this go????
Mashpash accusing Howden of corporate ****** bullying?
Now I remember why I’d filtered the idiot!
So, there you have it. A small price to pay to protect a ****** element. Howdens are set to drop out of the FTSE 100 despite record turnover and record profits. It does appear that rather than dealing with the underlaying and still present racial bullying elements in their organisation the board choose to allow shareholders and pension funds to take all the pain and drop out of the FTSE100. Shareholders yet again are made to pay the price for inaction. Those of us in the know saw this coming, stood up and spoke about it. The relatively new management chose apathy and did absolutely nothing. In 2022 this bullying behaviour is unacceptable except of course in the Howdens universe. Shame on you Andrew Livingstone for costing shareholders dear.
I hear every employee is to be given a one off £500 payment to help with cost of living.
Howden not just growing their business despite strong headwinds, they're also looking after their staff at the same time.
Good to see and coincides nicely with their peak trading period
As predicted, another set of fantastic results and bullish for the rest of the year.
Next week - due on 21st. April TU indicated on-track for 2022 outlook so hopefully confirmation of that continuing, or better :)
Half year results this week.......hopefully a rebound due. Good to see the share buy-back has been taking place and well timed by Howdens as more shares taken out of circulation at this price.
Still no proof of the alleged incident ****** comment(s) comments from years ago .
Put up or shut up Mashy Pashy .
Could you be from one of Howdens competitors?
What a load of BS ; do you hold any of these shares Wren lover ?.
****** bullying is unacceptable in a civilized world. The financial stock market continues to punish Howdens and its shareholders for allowing, protecting and supporting the lowest of the low in society. Shares now below £6.00 down £3.85 since the despicable story first broke. How much lower will the shares go, what will the final cost be to shareholders, before the guilty abusers are finally held to account? Its time for the institutional investors to flex their muscle and put a stop to the rot.
Nothing from the Wren person allegedly .
Would this person come clean about this whole allegation or apologize to the LTH , which includes myself .
According to this person this allegation dates back to 2018 .
Still no reply from misspash , about allegations of r----- comments .
If you read the RNS you can see this is a Sale to cover tax on a LTIP share award . The remaining shares are still subject to a holding period of 2 years
Still waiting for your accurate ****** comments . Seems it was all alleged , but do tell .
Oh look, the ex employee with a grievance is back again. Better for everyone if you take your petty agenda to social media where it belongs
Green bin!!
Since the claims of bullying hit the internet on Christmas eve last year confidence in the company and the shares have plummeted by over 30%. The board chose not to investigate not to punish, rather they said this, in 2022, is our business ethic bullying is at the core of what we do. Share holders carry on paying the price of defending the indefensible. Andrew Livingston sold 119,304 shares of the company’s stock in a transaction that occurred on Wednesday, May 4th. The shares were sold at an average price of GBX 713, for a total value of £850,637.52 good to see he is OK!!
Wrens ?.
New poster from 13th April has gone very quiet .
Still waiting for an honest reply to Mashbasher .
There are a lot of comments on here about bullying and racism.
I find it extremely difficult to remove unsavoury staff no matter what they do because HR seems to support those who cause disruption and mayhem rather than believe the person in charge. That is bullying against the management but no one ever sticks up for management.
Bullying and racism is wrong at any level and should be dealt with accordingly and fairly.
I have been reported for racism because I asked an Indian chap to sweep the floor in a warehouse. 17 other white and black people with no problems were doing it but it still had to go to a tribunal.
I got called a ****** because I asked two black lads to stop calling themselves the N word because to me it is a ****** term.
That also went to a tribunal. I was found to be the innocent party on both occasions.
Mud sticks even if you are innocent when it comes to that type of thing just because someone said you are, other people believe it.
Anyway, I can see a huge turnaround here very very soon
