Hi extrader,
Nice one.
I am usually well covered.
Ron
Hi Extrader and Aduk
I thought the choice of word ' interruption' was an interesting one.
To me it speaks to a possible offer for assets but the continuation of the Hurricane exploration story. How that will translate to shareholders, I'm still not entirely clear, but the overall takeaway is positive to me.
Hi ronok,
…"Interrupt suggests something that happens then you carry on.imo…."
You've obviously never heard of - or experienced ? - coitus interruptus.....;->
Sorry for O/T, it IS the weekend....
ATB
I was not at the AGM.
I would take interrupted to mean an offer to take over the company ahich would be rejected.
Interrupt suggests something that happens then you carry on.imo.
I was there and I'm certain 'interrupted' meant take out.
aduk,
AS was specifically talking about HUR's plan for the future development of GWA and GLA at the time.
I can assure you 100% that he was not referring to interrupted production.
In any case, why would a Director even mention something that may or may not even happen during an AGM. Especially something negative like that. Makes no sense.
Anyway, you really needed to be there....
GLA.
adoubleuk
The benefit of being there but there was no doubting the inference, imv, of the statement that was made, more than once and the manner that it was said in, tone, inflection, a look and a smile. It was all there. Doesn't mean it will happen but it sounded to me like an expectation.
Thanks for sharing your (better informed than I) view Yuyus.
Other than my own impatience, HUR have never given me a single reason to doubt they will execute their grand plan to full fruition. I shall take a "chill pill" as my kids often advise.
That would indicate an unplanned interruption rather than a planned shutdown. Plus the tie in can happen without interrupting production.
"The comment by I believe Alistair Stobie ‘ Interupted ‘ was by my own view precisely chosen"
I know that some people are optimistically interpreting the word 'interrupted' as a veiled reference to a TO or similar. But may it not have a more prosaic meaning, referring to an interruption in production during the 'debottlenecking' operations such as tying in the third well and hooking up to a pipeline?
I wasn't at the AGM so cannot draw my own conclusions from observation and listening to AS, but would welcome opinion from people who were there.
Thanks guys. All in all Hur are doing a grand job
..............Or a significant Joint Venture partner comes along who can better leverage full field development.
Nigh on instantly after the AGM , this was the Part most immediately both noticed and spoke about . After speaker to a poster not a million miles away , I realised the importance of attending an AGM is , by comparison those I knew that went to a recent SXX event
Perhaps I should add that AS said this in front of everybody at the AGM.
In fact he used the phrase "interrupted" in this context twice, while talking about HUR following their stated plan to the letter, as they have steadfastly done to date.
So, follow the plan and if successful the SP will go up.
If not "interrupted" then choose you will need to choose your own exit.
If "interrupted" with a TO, then your exit route will be decided for you.
Either way, it's quids in.
GLA.
AS said that HUR “fully expect to be interrupted at some stage”. For “interupted” read bought out by a big player(s).
GLA.
Yuyus The comment by I believe Alistair Stobie ‘ Interupted ‘ was by my own view precisely chosen . Hi what did Alistair say thanks. Happy days having our first tanker offload
Wulbert , my own view is this . We’ve oil , lots of it , the EPS over time will prove our FB Concept . We are as I type rigging up a DST to prove up more ( I’m confident). We’ve a FPSO that’s in situ and working . We’ve a tanker in to export We’ve ground work ready for the Transocean leader to Drill and hopefully prove up more . We’ve permits and licences in place , laser on advfn has found them for amongst other things surveys for export pipeline ,Spurs . The comment by I believe Alistair Stobie ‘ Interupted ‘ was by my own view precisely chosen . The WoS hub is getting bigger and busier ergo costs will reduce . I will be both pleased and surprised if I get to my first AGM next year , the longer they dither and wait , the more data , evidence , cash we will have , the more they will have to pay !! As long as oil doesn’t collapse then on our income , IF Funding was required for FFD , export roots , drilling it will be cheaper
My expectations have dropped as time has gone by. Or rather, the timescales have lengthened considerably.
I'm hopeful for 75p plus by Xmas. If so, I'll sell a chunk. Currently debating whether to sell a chunk in a couple of months to pay off the mortgage finally, or keep for more lolly later( hence my earlier impatience).
Then, keep a smaller amount in the bottom drawer and forget about them for years until the £3 odd that Morgan Stanley think is a possibility. However, I haven't a clue. Hence, back to work tomorrow.
Can I ask what sort of SP people are targeting here, realistically?
