Boom Boom Boom. Where's Basil Brush these days?
scully i was only passing on what some commodities trader was preaching!! I don't know what will happen.
Ifonly1 oil boom is over lol
JayKay i will take your points on board, atleast you don't stick the knife into other poster's.
Oh i must be a moron because I'm not a academic or blessed with your huge IQ on all investing matters, you obviously see yourself aa warren Buffett figure when it comes to stocks ah? I see you as a guttersnipe with a sharp tongue.
I said "according to your view on oil etc......you're not going to see your 51p target"
The clue is in the "your view" bit. Not my view.
My view is that HUR will go somewhat higher.
You are obviously a complete moron or wind up deramper but will need a comment from time to time, so you don't taint too many people's view on HUR with the garbage you spout. So no filter for you, unfortunately.
GLA.
Biffa if you believe it is not going to 51p it must be a dog then.
I bought in on a hope of recovery,i waa £500 in profit the afternoon after i boight in the morning and thought blimey i will be greedy and held, big mistake went down everyday from then on.
Biffa take your venomous tongue and stick it somewhere else or use the filter,And yes i bought 10000 shares here at 51p
Ricfle the only stock i have taken big hit on is CARILLION and a small loss on ukdogger all the others i have always either made a profit or broke even, even staying long and being very blue only for the last couple of years of brexit and trumps tweets spooking the markets to turn those red, unless your a fortune teller i am not alone.

"my pockets are not very deep that's why i am a bit hesitant"
--------------------
Your pockets are not very deep because you keep jumping in and out of stocks, mainly at a loss.
Are you doing proper research? What is a good time to buy in? Why have you invested? What will move the share price and when?
If you just keep buying in and out on a whim, then you will only fail.
my pockets are not very deep that's why i am a bit hesitant with this stock, only ever held ftse 100 and 250 stocks,my biggest mistake was buying carillion and we all know what happened there, lost 4k but was lucky i took the hot or it would have been 15k.
could i suggest you read posts on here and ask questions when you dont understand. some of the most informed in the sector are here. on hold or sell - only you can make that call. what i will say is i am not currently in here despite it hitting my buy in price yesterday and being geared up to buy today, but that is because a more compling (to me) opportunity arrived. i would be happy to hold at this sp moving forward at the current time.
I bought uk dogger by mistake while getting quotes on my phone a banged the confirm button ! yeah i know very stupid of me ,put down to fate but binned it after a week thank god,gvc is a good company making huge profits snd good divi, will hold for £15 a share on that, glen is great day trading stock had some good returns on that, alot of posts coz i chat with the guys on glen bb,very friendly board.
i would have to say i do not get an investment strategy that includes a gambling co (of scale) a commodities co (of mega scale) and udogger! what on gods earth made you think udogger were a good investment? the only thing they can produce is shares and they do that by the bl full..but why then invest in hur? hur may be listed on aim, but there are worse oilers on the main market (ophr for example). could i suggest it is nothing to do with aim and all to do with your investment strategy and research prior to hitting the buy button. (and just what is in your 3321 posts?....)
too impatient I'm afraid.
I got my biggest chunk in gvc holdings,15k in glencore and stuck 5k in hurricane after i said i would never touch AIM especially after losing £400 in uk dogger.
Hi all,
From ifonly1 : .."51p breakeven and I'm out,..."
Another date for the diary !
ATB
ifonly , if you believe that and you could be correct - then what is a couple of pence - get out now before the oil price drops to $30 - invest your hard earned in Nanodog or UKOGdog - as neither are likely to be producing oil for different reasons , so the POO will be irrelevant...……………………...
I can't see it myself, remember if they open up the taps and iran comes back on board it ain't going up.
Hi ifonly1,
Try reading the following.
For every ying there is a yang.
All the best.

51p breakeven and I'm out,the oil boom is over according to the commodities guy on bloomberg now in bear territory as they call it,why bother finding more and more oil when there is a glut
If the 10M trade yesterday was a buy and the MM made a profit on his stock, he would have had to have held that stock on the shelves since end June/early July awaiting this buyer. There was no volume of shares traded below that price yesterday to allow the trade on the day. Total was c16M.
If the 10M trade yesterday was a sell, the MM will want to sell it on at a premium. They could have achieved that by selling at the higher but continually falling SP over the days prior to closing the deal yesterday, with the remaining stock being sold at a lower SP but balanced on their books by the previously higher price.
Their role is to make a market, and a profit!
I think that this overhang is now responsible for the lower SP, as the further lowered BID now collects the stop-losses and shakes out the nervous and gives the MM even more stock to shift, with less than 3M total declared today it could still offer opportunities for knife catchers and bottom feeders. Perhaps they can shift some when the AM moves.
JIMO
What is your considered view?
joe
Agreed jim. It went down stupidly quickly as I watched L2 yesterday....lumps were knocked off the bid in seconds .Not normal market movements ...
escargot / Trouble is with HUR at the moment there aren`t enough trades for an ii to buy a massive amount other than wait for the MM`s to build his order , time is very close to a lot of good news so most are holding onto their shares , only way to do it is pull the price down and trigger stop losses etc by the mm`s , 2.38p was quite a hit yesterday for a short period considering no RNS etc . , hopefully it may make a buyer be forced to pay more and start pushing the price up , I do see the SP turning for the better now .
