Yep...same, stocks sliding all over the world, a dip here didn't surprise me (well, it did a little but I held me nerve like a good boy)....some panic selling, that's all.... At the end of the day something is worth what someone will pay....the most illogical rule, but the sad truth. SP stabilising now as the calmness prevails.... I think it's going to be a great weekend (touch wood etc)....
I do yes.
Do none of you look at the market as a whole?
Massive selling all over Europe because of China trade tensions, ofcourse this share is also affected.
Sipp: Yes, I also expected a bit of profit taking yesterday which did not happen..and seems to have happened this morning. Also aware that the crude price is on a bit of a retrace. However, I will be very surprised if we do not bounce back from this early drop (almost 5% atm) which imo is a bit overdone. Atb Rich
Looks to me like profit taking on the back of a bearish oil market. It may recover some later.
looking at the trades (my limited 'free' view), there seems to be a round-number frequent-chunk seller in the early-doors sales glut. Not big enough for CA, perhaps - someone else with very deep pockets (fuller now), maybe?

Statistically can't be blue every day MakinHay, thought there would be some profit taking last Friday, there wasn't. Maybe today. We bucked the oil trend all week this week, maybe we are retracing to that. Or maybe it's just the first hour of trading and we will finish blue because after all, who would want to be out of this over the weekend? ;-D
But personally, more than happy with the sustained rise from 46p and finishing this week anywhere in the current ballpark is a positive step forward. Aimho.
...Oh dear down 1:62p! Hold tight guys!
