The downward trend has been going on for too long now. Directors are probably dumping to see off tax liabilities, as usual. Which doesn't help either the SP or the investment potential. Attractive is not a word I would apply to this share until the board get some gumption and take their listing - and their shareholders - seriously.
Worrying downward trend and Directors dumping shares. I popped in here to see whether the fall in share price make this one attractive. Not one for me. I don’t like the negative trends and don’t see any upside during the next 12 months.
Just saw on ADVN that this sell off is likely to be a reaction to a poor trading update from Knight Group. Omnicron and the delayed return to work is given as the prime cause for a substantial slowdown in activity. GTLY next update may be an interesting read then...fingers crossed they managed to keep the train on the rails.
Not so steady now. There have been some extraordinary fluctuations in the SP over the last 2 months with no discernible cause. Todays drop of almost 7% (as at 11am) is typical of the volatility. It is uncharacteristic and I simply cannot work out the cause. A comment from the BoD, calming troubled waters or clarifying whatever rumour is out there, would be helpful.
Steady eddy
Looks as though a lot of folks are missing out on this unusual niche opportunity.
I don’t think it’s been higher? Why the big increase today? Recent rises certainly put KGH in the shade
EOY Report issued today. The RNS states that the final dividend of 0.5p will be paid on 8 October for those on the Register on 27 August (Ex Div 26 Aug). This is contradicted in the EOY Report, Page 25 (CFO statement), that payment will be 'mid October' for those on the share register on 17 September (Ex Div 16 September). In both cases the final div to be agreed at the AGM.
Hargreaves Lansdown have been showing GTLY as Ex-Div since end of Aug. Needs to be clarified by GTLY.
After a good run.
Did you add? I added some more 166 or so
oh nice work. I can't get how this is so cheap compared to Knights Group and DWF (which looks a mess)
I’ve been adding since Sept 2020. Will be adding again if shares fall a further 5-10%
A big holding for me. Pleased I added more last week.
Plus dividend back on
Acquisition book build at £2
Trading 33 percent discount to last results and they wasn't nowhere near as good as this .
Assets up 60 percent.
No debt .
Cash 9m
Profits up
Buy buy £3 easy target
Nice, it's been a fun year so far.
You'll never leave these boards you love it.
Sorry EUZ isn't working, I thought it might gradually drift back but not 9 so soon. I may have kept it if I didn't have a larger holding. But I found the idea of being stuck there without catalysts when I can't trade it most days too risky.
We both know it can quickly move (in whichever direction though). VLU is sub cash so I'm happy holding that as with Ormonde (kicking myself as was v close to buying back at 1.05).
It's fine I don't think they're thinking about me haha
Yes thanks re Spreadex, I've not done it yet no but may do, I've had a new burst of finding things to buy since the vaccine (mainly property stocks as I may have said though I was already in them and researching more, so pulled the trigger fairly fast).
Also Valeura. Seen that?
Sorry for late reply, will take a look at your post....
I sold EUZ but didn’t want to antagonise ppl on the day as I had a large holding - that’s why I posted something more cautious on the Kefi board for you.
By the time you posted on there I’d sold it all (was in first 45 mins or so). Like I say I believe in the valuation but if it can’t rise on a 50% higher PFS it’s only going to do it on something left field or a good pumping and I can’t risk it as I needed the liquidity to trade, basically. I still think it will come good esp with Zinc roofing it and I wouldn’t sell it at current levels (I didn’t really want to see at 11.6 avg but had to take what I was given) but I didn’t want to risk getting trapped in it.
One thing that did disappoint me and I posted on the board - they lifted the JORC 40% but mined tonnes in the study only went up marginally - so what was the point of the drilling?
Yeah although I did a small position on shoezone yest (this is 3x the size) which hasn't had a happy start! Hehe the EUZ ppl are the same as you with Kefi except they own it! At least you can't accuse them of ramping ;)
I think it's just a share that's continually disappointed in terms of price progress and there are no rampers on board to get ppl excited. It's one of those that if it got going on twitter like Arkle it could move up hard and fast but otherwise desperately lacks catalysts. I do believe in the valuation I posted but see nothing to get it there.
Ark I had a quote for 1.025 to buy minutes after selling it for 1.2, could have had a second 30% the same day, unbelievable. Sometimes I'm too keen to be in near the bottom but then again it was 0.85 to sell last week and that gold news is hardly material.
Troaj what are you like! I'm in this one too, since about 135p. I'm surprised it's not up on this update though it has been strong. Looks so cheap.
Results out today look good in the light of present circumstances and I expect the market to react positively.
Should be a good long term hold.
I’ve been following Gateley for about 2 years. Growth has been good, albeit driven by M&A. The company would have taken a slight hit over corona virus but it is well positioned for the future IMO.
Looking to top up ahead the FY 2020 results announcement.
"Could it become another Burford?"
I hope not !
