£18 before end 23 ? End 23rd century more like. £14 fast approaching, usually resistance here ...
Hi all, just giving a second and final push to the blog I did about GSK, which I am a shareholder in. Feedback welcome and the blog can be found here: https://tbifund.wordpress.com/2023/01/08/gsk-gsk-ln-a-prescription-for-growth/
What could be the reasons for this to underperform the rest of the market recently?
Be £18 before end of 23 !!!!
Hi all. I have written a blog about GSK, which I own shares in, that you may find of interest. The blog can be found here: https://tbifund.wordpress.com/2023/01/08/gsk-gsk-ln-a-prescription-for-growth/ - feedback welcome! Thank you.
I hope so - anything to remove the cobwebs from the old hag
Which is what I feel the BOD really want.
Entire market up - GSK not. AZN flying. Emma Walsmsley at the helm. Still!
broker reraring looks drastic, why the massive downgrade…
GS cuts to underweight and treated to 1350p and raises AZN to buy with £135. Iv been so lucky to chose the right stocks , still looking icy here…

I must admit that I started buying GSK around 2010 thinking from dividend & growth perspective. Most of my buying has been between 14-17£ and I accumulated quite a few over number of years. I still remember AZ share price around £30's at that time which I foolishly declined to make any investment. Fast forward 12 years, yes GSK has been giving me constant dividend but if you factor in all the inflation + no capital appreciation, I do feel it's the worst investment ever. I am not sure who in city banks are making money with GSK and how the inept management team has been allowed to continue for so long without any questions. I may look to wait for 2023 where number of people have high hopes and will make a decision after that to sell
You need to take a step back before going fully loaded into GSK.
Look at Glaxosmithskline from 2000 onwards, it has not gained, gone anywhere. It would have lost you money against the FTSE… big to date.
December 1998 2125p intra day high. no mind 1900p since then.
GSK has been awful.
But, look at AZN, ABBVIE, JNJ, NVS, ROCHE, BMY, VERT, SNY, MRK, MCK, PFE it’s endless.
GLA
Need to take into account global trends and worldwide events.
However, Interactive investor have stated that Pharma companies are on trend for 2023
as they are stable / cash generative. Lets hale GSK decision for Haleon to be consumer champion.
Really struggling to understand the fascination of this share. Moderate yield and even the likely dropping of litigation has had no effect. Continual ramping of the market after results ends in further decline. Why does the market not rate GSK, just dont get it!
4% until your BUY kicks in at 1360p. i’m waiting for below 1300p and maybe buy some ROG.SW
If freehold is included in move to Central London - it is smart.
If move is leasehold in move to Central London - NOT smart
Waste of money. Smart move would be from New Oxford Street to Brentford. Nothing smart about New Oxford Street. Only way to get there is via absurdly expensive public transport which is permanent disrupted by strikes, snow, etc. Everyone will end up working from home.
Back to heart of London (although might be smarter for CAPCO) If more majors spot the opportunity to relocate now office blocks are going begging, could be exciting. The swing in property values there might have started.
By Feb it will be around 1600 as the rest of the chasers will drop out. They are trying to blackmail and wait for Emma to blink. This cookie in not for turning.
Maybe so maybe not. Stopped clock syndrome here.
Will be mild and confound critics.
Almost 5% on savings, the grey pound Phoenix rises in 2023 after slumber for 10 years.
If your thinking of rebuying on a dip, i’d be waiting until February probably get 1200p maybe lower when we get the bad economic numbers come through from winter.
We all know next yr is going to be bad, so just wait …
still waiting want in around 1360 again
Just like RR can't make that cr*p up :-(
Typical we get good news and the ftse100 goes down as Dow Jones
This is going back up to retest 1525p.
The buyers are outnumbering the sellers, looking good.
DOWJ futures heading South though :-(
