GSK should not be paying out shareholders money to these scammers grasping for free cash. US needs to address the exploitation of vulnerable people by unethical ambulance chasers.
I took Zantac once (possibly) and now I feel stressed. Can I have a payout from GSK as well? Coughing up shareholders money to get rid of chancers is no way to stop it happening again and again in the future.
Those you can't take a chance on you settle with - object being drag them out and avoid getting a judgment against you
tedious but tried and tested!
I see this news as a positive development, as jcb-55 said 'they don't have any good options'
It would appear that following the Sargon hearing, where the experts had the opportunity to put their evidence before a judge, both parties have decided to settle.
This leads me to believe that neither side felt they had a compelling argument that would convince a jury beyond reasonable doubt.
Therefore, I would assume that most, if not all of the thousands of state-level cases will be settled too.
Today's market reaction shows how much of a handbrake the ranitidine issue is to the share price.
According to this Sanofi and Pfizer already settled with James last year, I am not sure that settling like this makes it go away., however I see that they don't have any good options https://www.fiercepharma.com/pharma/gsks-first-state-level-zantac-trial-delayed-judge-reviews-science-both-sides-argument-report
I am happy with that as it stops a protracted lawsuit. For me this is an excellent long term investment What is annoying is that any good news means nothing, but the market seems to treat any pssitives and negatives in the same light. I.E share prices seem to fall on both good and bad news.
Just about sums up society in general inmv.
fwiw i hold this together with some other ftse 100 shares together with a couple of biotechs
RNS Statement is somewhat confusing and contradictory and employs reductive vocabulary; so what separates the issues with this case from potential other cases in currently in process? Is this a positive explanation? What do others think here?
With a healthy pipeline.
Astrazeneca trades at DOUBLE the valuation GSK is now at.
This is a massive achievement, which should deserve major international recognition.
I think the uncertainties regarding the Zantac lawsuits are the real reason the price is being held back.
Has moved SP by all of 3p!!!
The sooner we put up the 'For Salw' sign, the better. £20 per share should be obtainable in contested situation.
Lets be +ive.
Potential Big Pharma is to take over GSK as Dame Emma has NOT been successful.
Should be this 2023 - 24 tax year.
Do not be afraid of GSK's Share Price death, be afraid of it dying.
People's disposal cash is reducing.
Money is being spent to keep roofs over their heads.
Suggest UK Banks are better to invest.
Totally agree sthelires...I was looking at my loss yesterday and thinking oh well..only 2.5 years of dividends to get my money back. Something a bit wrong with this company v peers and one of my many bad FTSE buys...my logic of buying starting Jan 2020 was this would weather any recession...I'm not putting another red bean into this
Next results should be July. Like the rest of the so-called 'quality' stocks, there seems to be no appetite right now and I hope like you that this changes fast!
Gsk share price .a slow death
When are the 'next results' by the Dame?
I am sure their shall be positive spin!!!
Gsk share price.death by 1.000 cuts

I reckon we are almost certain to get a bid -albeit not a very attractive one- but it just might go contested. I am hanging on.
GSK PE Ratio: 4.122 for June 1, 2023
