stuck a toe in last week, and as everything seems positive here I topped up this afternoon.. before it tops 28p!
completely clueless on the gaming front, but Gmr ticks all the right boxes and was set next to gkp on Google finance . ooh, err. i live in Falmouth, maybe Truro Trader we could car share to the AGM!!
When is/ was it?
Strong revenue growth showing in Entain results today for online.
2022 net profit of 2.8 million which should grow substantially this year and next, I’ll still stick with the dividends at the end of next year. More profits are made in the 2nd half and as stock markets price in movements up to six months in advance, my estimate is gmr will be back in the 30’s next month. Then back to the 40’s over the summer. Glah and dyor.
How to lift the SP. I know that if we declare a Divi there is less cash for R & D. But we appear to have some 3 Mill in cash. A token Divi of say .25 of a penny would cost some £750K - say 1 Mill with maiden divi costs. I don't see that as holding much R & D back and we are cash generative anyway and also are debt free!
The upside is the publicity a maiden divi generates and the demonstration of the BoD's confidence in the future. Importantly it opens up a whole new set of investors. Many PIs and IIs will only buy shares in profitable companies that pay Divis. We are now in our third year of profitability with a highly visible revenue and profits stream that can only grow. I see a Divi as a positive step.
Nothing seems to move the SP on this one. Great results, great coverage, great outlook. Pay a dividend and shake things up and get it on people’s radars as one to buy

Worth a read makes GMR look cheap
Shows the potential of the US market, $55b revenues in 22. GMR very well positioned currently with potential for increased incremental revenues from new States opening up, with a fairly fixed cost base.

I've been looking at most aim companies over the last couple of years, and there isn't many that make profit...alot talk the talk , but don't make a penny.... for this company congratulations
Really can't see anything I don't like in that report. p/e ~22 now, no debt, well positioned to take advantage of the growth in the US market while still expanding steadily into the more mature markets in Europe. If I had to nitpick it's still taking them a long time to integrate with new operators and aggregators but at least that gives us pretty much guarantied growth as we work through the backlog. 4ThePlayer finally getting going is really great news as they already have a lot of reach.
Social still making money is also really positive since it's essentially just an acquisition tool. Ebita still growing faster than revenue. Ops expenses growing but this is to be expected as revenue grows since a major cost is just license fees.
Personally I don't see a dividend coming for at least a year or 2. There's still a lot of land to grab and if they can continue to grow the games portfolio while growing earnings and managing costs they might get bought by Flutter, if not a game dev like Evolution gaming. Either way, reinvesting these earnings should super charge growth and I can see the P/E getting back into the 40-60 range without the valuation getting too out of hand.
Did anyone see anything concerning in the report? As it stands I can't see myself ever selling these shares.
Not like there are any big capital projects they need to re invest in.Everything filters through to the bottom line.
On current trajectory would think this would half again at least on next results.Anyone an idea of how much profit they would need to make before paying a dividend? 6mil? 10mil?
PE ratio now 22.
With a PE Ratio of 60 isn't that high ?
Such a disappointing response today a rise of just 3.5%. The market is crucifying any company that marginally misses targets by double digit drops and rewarding with very little. Tough, tough market.
Shame the Tetris Slingo game couldn't have been released along side the movie. Slingo Tetris scheduled for Q4 2023.
Still, something to look forward to and great RNS.
Pre tax profit up 224% , very impressive. I would like to think this can get back up to 45p in the next few months.
Some chunky buys today they know it’s a good bet lol
Very happy with this update, I’m sure the shares will rise now and maybe dividends next year. Glah
This little company is making good money
Where’s my dividend
Well done
These look strong to me.
Excellent results and outlook - expecting a rise in sp today - we shall see.
