Until it drops below 5p when it will be an even bigger gift, The share that keeps on giving in fact
Stop talking nonsense monkey, we have sufficient debt funding arrangements in place to cover us going forward, together with heavy-hitting backers with deep pockets.
The current sp is an absolute gift to be taken full advantage of :)
Perhaps we should stop issuing any RNS s good bad or indifferent as we get clobbered regardless. Perhaps putting out some bad news may see a rise in the price as none of this makes sense. Nothing in that RNS suggested we should drop. It’s all about the end game but was hoping to enjoy in my lifetime whilst still able.
Love AIM .
Do not agree. 4p would be my prediction for a fund raise level. I would not sanction at that level but dont discount the motion mysteriously being passed !
The only positive of a low SP in my view is it reduces the likelihood of large scale dilution. Shareholders are not going to vote for 10bn new shares to be issued to raise £600m. I think a debt based / tarrif based deal or a Wyloo/other party project share seem much more likely whilst we bump along the bottom.
Clarity on the situation would fix the SP in a week.
Yes,,,he is doing us really proud today ?!!!
I am a shareholder wth 2000000 shares and I care that Shaun will do us proud
Hold for gold
Yes seriously newmont will want to offload seeing there 70% falling in value as they wish to divest will not be good for their shareholders.
We have everything to gain
Also if the feckless AIM Regulator actually did its f8cking job, instead of sitting around with its thumb up its ass, (has anyone here EVER received a response to an email sent to them, or read the results of any successful action taken against anyone!??!) then perhaps half of the crooked sh8t that goes on might stop and companies might just be tempted to stay!?
Just a thought.
Why do you pretend to care?
You are under researched, not a SH and without a connection.
If you do not see it, you don't know it !
Low sp means Newmont share of project is cheaper to buy?
My god there's looking on the bright side, clutching at straws but seriously??
Avocet reported and back in the bin where rubbish belongs.
Avocet - that's an upgrade from your last 0p prediction.
Games have always been played with this stock (and so many others). It can become very uncomfortable but time has proven to be a great healer in the past and nothing to suggest that will not be the case again.
As always when the going gets choppy, the best advice is to look away and focus on what is important in your life today - in the knowledge that SD and his team are working to deliver in the background on our behalf.
Despite what is happening with the SP I am still very excited and encouraged by this mornings RNS,
Enjoy your day.
A low sp means newmonts share cheaper to buy if greatland want 100%
Maybe a deal can be done to include telfer then the sp would fire on all cylinders
Patience is needed for Shaun to do his due diligence and arrange a plan
Exciting times are coming?
Hold for gold!!!
Chris
Morning avo .bright and cheery as always.one day you might buy some ggp shares.
Avocet reported, trying to mislead investors to sell is his only game here.
Copper up nearly 27% in last 6 months ATB Jonno
FTSE 100 record high, only as most earnings are abroad, GGP has not turned out well for me down 75% but my other ftse250 shares not much better, I stick to US and ftse100 now
Money flowing out of London stock market at a record pace..

Well if AIM is anything to go by then its the pits
Like so many things can happen in business, and especially M&A activity, we'll probably find that a deal(s) will be done on a basis that nobody expected, and maybe involving party(s) that nobody expected. Just as one example, the Paterson South deal with Rio was discussed for at least a year before it was announced, and I don't know anyone who even suspected it.
However, what ever does happen, there is no better BOD available in the industry than ours, to be handling it right now, IMHO.
BHP and Anglo are not in the mix for Telfer IMO. Too small for them. They have the cash to buy much larger better staged projects, that’s the benefit of being massive, you can buy the best.
The anglo deal is also likely good news in that it highlights interest in copper and potentially means two big players will not be competeing for Telfer and the 70% as their hand are full. Is there another view here?
@Blantyreboy - was just posting something about this in relation to someone raising something in TG and I think Wyloo will come into the mix with more of a JV approach if GGP's MCap makes it difficult.
I submitted a question in one of LSE's Webinars prior to a TH about a 'Plan B' and he said perhaps Wyloo could buy Telfer themselves and assist them with Hav purchase, so I think they will find a way if Wyloo is amenable to something like that.
An update on what? They haven't done anything unfortunately 😕
