Anyone left invested here?
So we are delisted! Is there any value left and can we sell anywhere?
NOTICE 21/06/2016 7:00am NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION TO TRADING ON AIM GREKA ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY LTD At the request of the company trading on AIM for the under-mentioned securities has been cancelled from 21/06/2016 7:00am.
Might as well delist is Randeep has a nearly total interest?
just had a look and yeah, that's one huge holding by a long chalk.
that a massive vote of confidence.
it wasn't a sell. it was a director buy.
that was big?
totally screwed PIs , all the money put into his company's and will prob sell out to the Chines just as the O&g sector is returning to some normality.
So he gets to essentially take control of GEL, with the high asset value for peanuts! Very shrewd move from him!
...again. GDL next.
Often when the owners have a large share of shares in the company the advice is that they will make sure they will not risk or defualt in anyway because their own money is at stake... But with GEL it dores not look like that at all
The principal effects that the Delisting will have on Shareholders include the following: · there will no longer be a formal market mechanism enabling Shareholders to trade their Ordinary Shares on AIM (or any other recognised market or trading exchange); · while the Ordinary Shares will remain freely transferable, they may be more difficult to sell compared to shares of companies traded on AIM (or any other recognised market or trading exchange); · it may be more difficult for Shareholders to determine the market value of their investment in the Company at any given time; · the Company will no longer be subject to the AIM Rules and, accordingly, Shareholders will no longer be afforded the protections given by the AIM Rules - in particular, the Company will not be bound to: make any public announcements of material events, or to announce interim or final results; comply with any of the corporate governance practices applicable to AIM companies; announce substantial transactions and related party transactions; or comply with the requirement to obtain shareholder approval for reverse takeovers and fundamental changes in the Company's business;
thanks Kiwi... good luck with your own stuff

I highly doubt it mate, It is not worth the risk. Read today's rns, this de listing is not in shareholders favour. Looking at all the AT trades some large short positions are being taken here although that is quite risky with the Directors owning more than 75%. If I were you I would jump ship while you can at .8 because the next level down is 25% here at .6 and even then that may not last long. atvb
Is there any point in holding on to the shares after delisting - ? Anyone has experience of having hild shares after a delisting?
Delisting, but making a decent offer (0.80)for outstanding shares. I wish them luck. I got out at 0.76 last month so lost out 5%.
Just sold 75% of my stake. Seems to be going one way now. I got in around 0.0035 so I can't complain .Let's just hope we get some info from the top.
It will look as if they announced in the results that they may delist in order to lower the sp on the bad news and get the shares back extra cheap.
Why would they need to give the share holders a good price? Surely they won't give more than the share price? I have a feeling it will open way down to tomorrow but I really hope I am wrong.
They will have to offer a good price for our shares though. I was lucky I got in near the bottom but some have been here for a long time so an offer at todays price would not be good enough.
My guess is shafted. We will wait and see I suppose.
What will this mean for the shareholders? "Despite our progress during 2015, we note the Company's continued poor share price performance and the lack of liquidity in its shares, and are considering whether the costs of maintaining its listing on AIM are justified by the benefits the listing brings. An update on this matter will be announced in due course." Will we get shafted or get a fair price?
