Odr I think the fact that it has come back will give slight boost
maybe, and I suppose its BP now who signed the NDA
CF73: if they appoint a Nomad and the shares come off suspension the sp may not be as badly hit as many expect owing to the fact that the appointment of a Nomad means that a lot of due diligence has been achieved with an acceptable outcome ... as eloquently described in Devex's post on ii copied here earlier by Arsenal.
Timster, I also realise your comment was tongue in cheek.
If á nomad is anounced I would expect frr to remain suspended while their financial position is clarified.I suspect that was on the cards anyway.despite the frr tweet I find it unbelievable that the cairn situation wasn't forseen. They must have discussed the implications of the action in detail.if the reason is hope being compromised in the court proceedings ,perhaps as a witness surely they must have forseen this?
Timster, I think Zaza has learned rather a lot about how the skewed market works over the past 12 months and it has been a rude awakening - hence his determination to fight back.
will give us a chance to buy more shares on the cheap.
But at least you would have the choice to sell or indeed buy (more) or just hold what you already have ( like we are now ) The bad thing is though if we came back without additional good news as the sp crashed it would give the opportunity to shorts closing and making big profits - so imo best stay suspended until settle court case.
Absolutely CF73! if we just get NOMAD and come off Suspension we'll be in the 0.02s.
big Z will know that though, even though he knows nothing about how the market works
If they inform is they have the NOAMD, they could come under pressure to return to trading ASAP before satisfactory resolution - that is, if they haven't got a good enough excuse. The current court case, as problematic as it is, may not constitute a good enough reason to be suspended if a NOMAD has been found. If they are a forced to trade again without good news sorted, the SP will be slaughtered -- and then you can imagine the additional pressure they'd be under from PIs
Remaining suspended right now is critical to their being able to fight the case, including ensuring energies are no unduly taken up eslewhere. For me, that also means not disclosing the situation regarding the NOAMD until is necessary
I agree Puddy I am sure he can say something that won't be jeopardising the outcome, something along the lines of :- "hey guys, its all going to plan, we are in the process of giving the death sentence to Mr hope, Nomad is signed however waiting to release the news on BP farm out before we come back to the market, I understand your frustration but not long to go, RNS on Monday 21st January" :-)
Perhaps it's possible he can't like others say it might put things at risk but I'm sure we could get a little something
Hearing something from Zaza would be great however this could be a bit like a game of poker, particularly if an OOC settlement is being pursued and may mean that it would be difficult to report anything meaningful without potentially jeopardising the outcome.
Everyone is handling this differently but I am confident of a positive outcome here. Block 12 must remain in the right hands.
really hope it does, I think we all deserve it. I think the most frustrating part is not knowing what is going on, need some sort of communication from Zaza himself.
Lads could still come good we will see
