It is in my thoughts that if the Kyalla Wet Gas area is proved up, this could be sold off to raise the funds for more exploration drilling, Falcon can then go ahead and prove up a greater area elsewhere in the Beetaloo before they sell.

Thanks fellas.

I like this WW -

'Eventually Falcon's acreage will be split up many ways amongst many companies.'

It's just mind-boggling what Beetaloo may contain and the thing is we've already found some of it. You know what they (they being Geologists, oil companies and oil investors alike) say about large fields only get larger (within limits obviously)

Schlemiel: I have tried to do a little research on the approved permitted area Origin submitted to the inquiry panel. This planned development is detailed in the report but I can not find it as of yet. It was a 500 sq km area and though I was disappointed in 'only' 500 sq km I came to realize that that size area would provide many years of drilling for Origin. It could be the 500 well planned program Paltar referred to but I am not sure. Maybe someone can come up with this submittal - I would think that submittal would contain the number of proposed wells.

If 500 sq km would provide Origin with 'many' years of drilling then how many years would it take to drill 16,000+ square km of the Beetaloo concession - and that's just the Velkerri B! Eventually Falcon's acreage will be split up many ways amongst many companies.

"Over a 10-year period, Origin estimates it could have anywhere between 50–500 wells around Amungee, near Daly Waters, while Santos — which operates around the McArthur Basin and Beetaloo Sub-Basin — said it could have up to 350.

Pangaea, focused on the Beetaloo Sub-basin west of the Stuart Highway, predicts it could have up to 300 wells.

However, the inquiry noted the scenarios were "presently uncertain"."

'Origin and Falcon have a large-scale development (with up to a 500 well program) planned.'
