Flybe in crisis talks. I hope Branson looses his shirt the robbing ****
FYI, The Ombudsman has ruled that my brokers should have informed me about the EGM that the company called where they changed the listing. Both Barc and HL have had to pay me £150 compensation on the basis that they failed . The ombudsman decided that any further losses could not be attributable to this failing by the brokers- however imv, all shareholders who had on line holdings with these brokers were similarly let down and could ask for their £150. GLA.
You may find the court tries to dismiss it as "there is no contract" between the company & share holders... if this is the case I believe (from memory so worth checking!) section 155 of the Companies Act 1989 states that a contract is formed with 'the market' (arguably shareholders) by listing on the exchange.
Good luck!
Papers have been served and awaiting response. It’s a long process.
How's the legal action going?!
Woodstock - esl is presently suspended not Stobart.
Stobart is progressing nicely within it's two main divisions of energy and aviation.
ESL is transportation / lorries my friend. I've checked and I can report back to you that absolutely no ESL lorries are flying in or out of Southend Airport.
Hope that helps you a little.

See Stobarts is suspended at 72p. Investors Chronicle article last week, not particularly upbeat. Serves Stobarts right imop.

SAS dropping FlyBE.
according to this SAS can exit the contract with FlyBE because ownership is transferred and that is what they are now doing.
I see that Jeremy Hosking has donated £200K to the Brexit Party!!!

C OW is leaving in July.
As expected those who have taken possession of the company are replacing her as soon as they can.
For anyone wondering about legal action it is still very active and options are being explored.
As you can imagine this is a lengthy process and therefore patience is needed.
For anyone who was in communication with the email address that was advertised on this board then you should expect to receive an update in the near future.
Same shit, different day - https://www.heraldscotland.com/business_hq/17632900.virgin-atlantic-lodges-preliminary-offer-for-thomas-cook-long-haul-airline-business/
No as the FT article states the new owners have got their eyes on it.
After the Credit Card Companies forced a sell off of Flybe by reducing the monies held by Flybe, has there been a full
audit to ensure Flybe received all monies owed to them by the Credit card companies?
Surely the Money held by credit card company belongs to Share holders who held shares before the share price dropped to 1 pence .Is there any way Share holders can claim this back and Shaft this Money grabbing consortium.
The BOD were employed by Share holders to look after Flybe Not to Rob us blind as they did and walk away with pockets full of Money .
Exetrchief - do you have any references or citations for this? I'd love to see this if there are credible sources.
New Flybe owners seek 10 of millions in withheld credit card payments
If the fca or doj find wrong doing does this open it up to the shareholders who lost out to do a legal challenge to get some money back?
Dream on Smithy. The US DOJ are already on Brady, Farrel, Branson, Laffin Evercore , as Cyrus are Vurign Atlantic group big shareholder and been found insider trading with Brady of Stobart .
Be it take time to Fine Stobart and Virgin , Cyrus, that fine will be over $500 million, and will certainly result in the end of the group
Okay A.smithy. Thank you for your comment.
I had an email off tom I think mon or Tues thus week. Still havent heard from the fca yet but assuming it takes a while for them to look into it.
Agree, I haven't heard anything for a while - hoping we can still salvage something here. This may run into years, rather than months, though. IMHO.
Hi all,
I haven't heard anything from Tom (flybe2019 at outlook) since I sent in my contract notes.
Staying patient but want to make sure its not dead and that we're all still looking to move things forward.
I've changed my Virgin Mortgage, changed mobile suppliers, started using the train to get to london and now fly KLM via Amsterdam for other destinations, I know won't make a diffrence to Virgin but makes me feel better.
