Charts..to add..
ECR is definitely in an uptrend - and significantly has substantial volume with the significantly bullish 50/200MA Golden Cross being realised recently.
Looking pretty good
@PortfolioPower Thank you, I appreciate the nice comment. The SP may be back at a level of support. I think it looks good for a bounce-up. https://x.com/SwazersC/status/1777372662316077295
@BlackHopper Thank you very much. Sorry, I only just noticed your comments. I draw my charts and then let the required time do its thing. Better than trying to force the market. I think the SO may be back at support if my channel idea is correct.
Https://x.com/SwazersC/status/1777372662316077295 https://www.tradingview.com/x/f6o7Dtak/ Looking at the TA there may be a chance that this stock is back at support. I have attached my ideas as per usual. GL to all investors.
The sausage has nothing to put on its stick.
......
Lol
Almost as if the SP was being held back to fill large orders????
lol
£42k buy for 14m shares. Blimey.
Some are missing the fact that we've just had a placing and therefore volume should be the indicator of market interest. Somebody has just purchased 14m shares, the market is wide awake.
Agree good results and I think the market is not fully digesting this properly.....yet
From that last source;
"Robyn Denholm, chair of car giant Tesla, and a “proud Australian”, said in December the nation could ditch its “dig and ship” status with subsidies for processing critical minerals."
"Australia, known for its abundant mineral resources, offers various government-funded incentives to mining companies. These incentives vary across different states and territories, making it essential for investors to consider the most mining-friendly jurisdictions in the country. Let’s explore some of these initiatives:
Western Australia (WA):
Home to key mining regions like the Pilbara, WA boasts plentiful resources and widespread exploration.
The Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) encourages exploration by stimulating and sustaining the resource sector.
The EIS includes several programs:
Co-funded exploration drilling and energy analysis: Offers up to a 50% refund for innovative exploration drilling projects.
Geophysical surveys: Aids in identifying potential mineral deposits.
3D prospectivity mapping: Enhances exploration efficiency.
Promoting strategic research with industry: Fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The EIS recently received increased funding, now at AU$12.5 million per year.
Tasmania:
While Tasmania prioritizes its agricultural and renewable energy sectors, it also supports mining.
The Geoscience Initiative allocates AU$2 million over four years.
Its goal is to deliver new pre-competitive geoscience data and improve historic data accuracy.
Junior Minerals Exploration Incentive (JMEI):
The Australian government contributes A$100 million to extend this program.
Eligible companies gain access to tax incentives, attracting new investors.
JMEI encourages exploration in untapped areas of Australia, fueling industry growth.
In summary, these incentives not only benefit mining companies but also contribute to a stronger economy."

Totally agree, but this is aim listed, and so you cannot rule out market sentiment and the herd. If ECR get their act together and play the PR stunt, it just takes on main cheerleader and an orchestrated buy in and this will surge. There's no proper regulation of aim, so no one gives a hoot, including the FCA, so it just takes a few drivers, and we could be away, but the company have to play ball and capitalise on positive market sentiment when it happens. Eurasia had nothing, it still has nothing, but it went from nothing to 43p! Now if that happened here, I'd pass out! I also lost a lot in the Eurasia debacle because my mind was distracted with something else, and I didn't cash in the million when I was up and put it in a fund, whilst i concentrated on something else, but I was under a huge time constraint with writing a paper, and so my mind was averted, then Putin started the war which we all thought wouldn't happen, and my million fell to half a million on open and then rapidly below. I managed to get out between 16p down to 12p, but it wasn't pretty, and I'm never letting that happen again I hope! I'm sure we all have many stories to tell about our unfortunate losses on the aim merry go round! but, when shares on aim move, they often move at a rapid pace, and tha's what we love them for!
The market did not decline by itself. There are major factors that caused that:
1) The west greed, as they tried to make profit from the over exploited south Asian nations by outsourcing most of jobs there to get cheap goods and maximise profit. The Asian took advantage of that and tigers and big economies and technologies emerged from that, Now the west is waging war everywhere to restore its position at the expense of western economies.
so we lost jobs, markets and resources as a result of the large distribution chains and the tech industry outsourcing. we have to compete on their terms now they have the cash and technology and we have muppets at the head of states.
Having said that, gold is flying with the knowledge of economic recovery is still not in sight while we still don't have proper protective policies in place. Live the globalisation for the rich and poverty for the masses.
Gold will set the motion here sooner or later.
Sectors also have cycles, as does crypto. The very same was said about crypto when it surged during lockdown and subsequently crashed.. look at it now.. now yes there are catalysts (the BTC halving etc), but the POG passing $3000 as expected will no doubt create a sector bull run and I fully expect miners to have a run.
I don’t hold cryoto btw (mainly as you can’t hold them in an ISA and CGT threshold is now £3k).
The halcyon days of Aim are long gone now .Companies are worth a fraction of what they were worth in 2020 , as has been mentioned there was a ton of money around then and everyone was a trader that year .As soon as covid money dried up and interest rates soared it killed the market completely. The evidence to back that up is irrefutable. Once 2020 was over , right across the board we saw a massive decline in investors and traders in the juniors .This market has had its day , and the last 4 years is unequivocal proof of that . Company valuations have been decimated .Its all there in black and white .Anyone who got out before the big slide dodged a hail of bullets .Its been the same now for well over 3 years .No matter what companies uncover , it seems to make very little difference compared to 4 years ago when markets were on fire . That fire has long since been put out .An acquaintance of mine had 2.5 million quid in ggp from an investment of 300k or so .He is now around break even , maybe 50k up at most .That must be a heck of a headache. And look at the 2 big investors here previously, Colin and Phil . They will be lucky to have 10% of their investment here .A horrendous scenario .Deny it all you like , the truth doesn't lie .
Greatland can rise to 6p on very little? Um, Havieron discovery? Very little?!
It's clearing a recent placing Q.uint, but you know that.
I mentioned the other day that I'm interested to know if we can prove up any lithium? Western Australia has an abundance of it in the rocks, and the Government are eager for it so as to be self sufficient for lithium batteries for electric vehicles. If we have lithium it will be a massive bonus imo.

I certainly agree that sentiment plays a big part, herd mentality is a big factor and was very much evident with eurasia. Most of those that made a fortune on eurasia are now living it up in Dubai probably!
Have a feeling the same will happen here once momentum gets going. Perhaps Aberdeenman/Mac4671 needs to speak to the ECR board?
There's still plenty of money sloshing around here in London, plus many of the youngsters managed to reduce their mortgage liabilities substantially during covid, so have more 'free' money floating around. A friend of mine, his son is only 38, and he's managed to pay off most of his mortgage during covid, and next year his home will be his own with his wife, so there is definitely money around, including the likes of those who bummed off to Dubai and are investing tax free! I wish I was one of them, but getting a bit too old now I think sadly, unless I can purloin another toy boy! :)
Toffers - i think this is indeed a long hold, also its a slow process of rebuilding trust and credibility.
Don't forget - Eua and GGP big rises were in covid when there was a lot of free speculative money sloshing around plus near zero or negative rates.
The landscape is different now.
Finally getting some width is what was needed, now there needs to be continued progress.
Patience will pay off in the long run. Trouble is no one holds for more than 5 minutes these days. This is a long hold, but if eurasia could go from nowhere on nothing to 42p, and that was in Russia, and Greatland can rise to 6p on very little, and that is in SW Australia, then at the moment, we are some way behind! We will catch up.
