I couldn't agree more, Zante. I emailed J2 customer services early last month with a few issues I had experienced with them on my recent holiday with them, which I won't go into on here, but I finally got an email back from them yesterday after waiting a good 3 week wait. I was quite shocked that I had waited the best part of 3 weeks for at best, generic corporate b.s. To be fair, we had a better customer service experience with the lady that cleaned our room at the hotel than I did with the airline. Quite shocking really. Can't honestly see us using them again.
Tinlode; I appreciate this is a share chat board, apologies for the rant. But, there is a serious message. I don't (and expect I'm not alone) invest in companies which operate unethically or deal in goods (tobacco etc) which I consider in the same vane. Having a strong, profitable business which people will buy and hold stock in, isn't always purely about the bottom line .....Not for me anyway.
To be fair, we have just come back from Zakynthos with Jet2. It's the first time we've used them as we normally use another airline, but we got a 4* hotel for �900 less than Thomson s wanted for our usual 3*. I found J2 to be professional enough, but that said, they do need to work on Customer service a little bit in my view. We have a son in a wheelchair, and another lad in a buggie and we literally had to ask J2 staff twice at Manchester airport and once again coming back home for assistance with check in and assistance in the aircraft. I was surprised it wasn't offered without prompting, but hopefully my email to them pointing this out might improve things going forward with them. A good holiday overall apart from this though.

This company won�t fly until it realises the value of good customer relations. I�ll give you an example. I�ve been looking at flights Leeds to kefalonia. Last week for 3 tickets return �840, which I was happy to pay. So,I sort out accommodation - �2500 and go back to book flights to find everything the same except jet2 put the price up to �1049. On live chat on jet2 website their moronic staff just waffle on about it been a live price and it will fluctuate. Well, fluctuate to me doesn�t mean increase by 20+%. This just makes me feel this company is utter scum and a complete fraud. I literally hate them and feel they are out to rip people off at every turn. The day that an airline runs these routes and treats customers fairly is the last day a company like jet2 trades.
