Just another ignorant comment from someone who has obviously done no research. I wouldnt underestimate the potential growth of Dish. Lots of news to come.

Thanks dryland.

Interesting. Warrants aren't all that bad as its cash in the bank for BigDish in the short term.

Haven't posted this week or last.

What an amazing move to 8p!

Great stuff.

Thumbs up to all the posters who stuck to it despite the deramping.

Waiting for update this Friday and national roll out.

No but you can build a business with the tech behind the 141 restaurants.
We have listened to the same old rubbish since 1.5p.

Someone posted this on ADVFN:

"You cannot build a significant business on just 141 live sites....
These guys have to drive restaurant sign up's quickly from here, and they have to hold onto sites to be successful.
I cannot see Dish being a 'Buy' until they significantly more cities and restaurants live and they prove their model works."

My response

"You are thinking of excuses not to invest. By the time the company succeeds in fulfilling your wishes the stock will be significantly higher. The model does not need to be proven in the UK because it's already proven abroad both in Asia and with TripAdvisor's The Fork. Get on the bandwagon and don't worry about short term issues...you obviously haven't done your research as u clearly say that the model is not proven when it has been abroad and in the uk. It was proven in the UK with Table Pouncer who bigdish acquired."

Sp is also doing well because people that understand the business are buying up the shares.

All it needs is research.

Some what surprised at the amount of concerns over funding.
Basic research will show It has categorically been stated many times by AB that funding is not required. It has also been stated that areas 1 and 2 should be at break even in the next few months.
Those who think funding is an issue have not understood what a yield management platform is,does or how it works.
DISH is a digital company investing in an intangible asset.
e.g. Facebooks intangible asset value outweighs its tangible asset value by about 55 to 1
DISHs results will be rubbish and of no consequence to the progress of the value of the APP
Which is why the sp is doing well.

there are 18,843,294 second pre ipo warrants with an expiry date of 12 months from admission at 100% premium to issue price. All the others are a mixture of 18,24 and 36 months from admission this is on page 175 of the Hardman doc.

I am new to this share so apologies if this has been posted previously but i found this in the same doc mentioned in my prev post:
Performance targets
BigDish’s management team has set out several performance targets, which the
company is looking to achieve using the net proceeds of the fundraising:
? Number of restaurant diners – growth target
? The company is expecting to seat over 1,000,000 diners by the first
anniversary of admission.
? Number of restaurants – growth target
? The company expects to have over 2,000 restaurants signed up to the
BigDish platform across all operating countries by the first anniversary
of admission.
? Booking fees per diner seated
? The current level of booking fees agreed with restaurants can be rolled
out on a wider scale (current average booking fee per diner: $1.0).
? Registered user acquisition costs
? Reducing the cost of acquiring a registered user from the current level of
$1.6 per user to $1.5 in Hong Kong, $1 in Indonesia and the Philippines,

i found this:
Terms of the acquisition of Pouncer
The total consideration for the acquisition of Pouncer is £969,406
(ca.USD$1.31m). This is broken down as follows:
? £500,000 was satisfied by the issuing of new Ordinary shares at the issue price
on admission, along with an equal number of warrants, which carry an expiration
of 24 months from admission.

Yes Andrew Neil Tweeted it.

I don't know where he got that information from as I wasn't aware of any warrants and the investor website doesn't specify.

Any holders from IPO aware of these?

He's stating near £2.5 million worth of warrants at 9p. 27,777,777 million shares due to expire or be exercised.

Any thoughts?

The positive side is that the money from those that at are exercised will be welcomed I suppose and really put off any need of immediate funding whilst expansion is underway. Obviously strategic investment or funding for massive advertising campaign isn't a problem at all.

The app
5 Jun '19
Someone on advfn was concerned that no of restaurants showing on app had gone from 140 to 147 a week ago and now 141...Can we finally nip this in the bud once and for all
The simple answer is seasonal factors - some restaurants during busy summer periods will no longer want to offer discounts in which case as part of an account management review bigdish temporarily remove their listing from BigDish until their busy period is over. So restaurant numbers on the app are "live" but the signed up number could be more..only restaurants willing to be "live" and thus offer discounts will appear on app. If they are not there it doesn't mean they are not signed up.

I know that bigdish are also constantly reviewing restaurants to ensure they deliver value for money, quality of food and service excellence. Failure to do so via feedback from diners may also result in a restaurant's removal from BigDish.
So don't read too much into up and down fluctuations over a short period..
I hope this helps.

By the way, annoyingly, I bought back a very small part of my top slicing today. Drat triple drat...lol

Accounts useless at this stage imo. We're fully funded though according to latest RNS. You can see the accounts in the IPO prospectus but as I say, company totally different now.
