Hi guys first time involved in a share that has been takin over . Can anyone explain what will happen to des shares in my trader account ? Will the just automatically switch over ? And how the value is worked out i.e. the ratio of shares gained or lost due to the takeover ?and how this may affect our investment , I must admit I didn't expect such an issue till end 2014 . Cheers
Forget the price of the takeover des was going nowhere without further funding , Its got to be good news going forward to the next drilling campaign now at least we will see the drill results from Elaine and Isobel which the board had such high hopes , I am sure FOGL also have run the slide rule through these twins many times before this takeover , onwards and upwards . GLA
Sorry this will be a stupid question to some of you but i am relitively inexperienced with the AIM market. Does this news mean that falkland gas and oil have brought a share of desire and what is rockhoppers involvement in the deal? Can anyone help clear this up for me?
GOT TO BE GOOD NEWS, ITS NO GOOD HAVING PROSPECTS IF WE HAVE NO MONEY TO DRILL. I DONT WANT TO FUND A DRILL VIA ANY SHAREHOLDER FUNDRAISING SO IM HAPPY. MOST INVOLVED WITH DES ARE SITTING ON A LOSS SO LETS SEE IF WE CAN MAKE SOME MONEY,ITS A GOOD DEALFOR ALL THE FALKLANDS COMPANIES AND TOGETHER WE HAVE MORE CLOUT.
shares purchased for £8.30! HMMMMMMMMM
The ************** rate is one of the factors that is important to myself, not current sp. As a DES & FOGL shareholder, very comfortable with this news. BW
I think that I have just answered my own question. 16,043 is just wishful thinking and 6,233 is the reality. Can't blame me for dreaming.
Great to see some names that I remember from the past still posting here. Hope you are all well. Please could someone let me know which is correct. If I hold 10,000 DES will they become 16,043 FOGL shares or 6,233 FOGL shares. I would imagine the latter :( Can't quite get my thinking hat on today. ATVB BB
Isn't 17.76p a significant price in all of this?
Only €1.16 To Go Before Break Evans . One Day I hope.
Please can you let me know who on here are paid bashers ? A big accusation to make. Thanks in advance.
Read your post as if you didn't know the person and tell me how you would categories them ??
i arrested 3 men last nite for stealing scrap and kept them there for 1hour 10 mins b4 the plods turned up tomorrow their car will b crushed yes i was dragged up as a security guard lol
People mentioning DPL and Ophir as an analogy here - I was in DPL and sold for an ok profit but should have either sold straight away or waited - the latter option would have been better as it happens as Ophir went up a whole lot in the end.
Shared risks and costs.......can anyone see the 'consortium' which is steady forming to develop all oil round FI? Don't know why bhp walked away, but others have stepped into their place who have quite significant clout. The development of FI needs to be politically as well as financially managed by top bod's who have the nous and the contacts
that statement shows how you was dragged up !! (its ok to steal from your neighbour)
des is worth no more to you today than yesterday unless you sell now the shares you will get in fogal are dropping at the moment so the valuation you were given in rns is incorrect as it has gone down .
anyone tell me y des cant go and syphon the oil out of well which is attached to rkh which they can do legally money money money bhp is the only chance here and they walked away
DES is worth more today than yesterday......and as part of FOGL prospects are significantly improved simples.
what you must look at is the market value des at x amount the market values fogl at x amount is fogals valuation with des going to be higher it needs to be to cover the premium they have paid
Pi's who do research and know how these deals work should understand the pro's and con's. If they misinterpret the RNS and what it means to them then it's their own fault. Pi's can judge for themselves whether this is a good deal or not........their risks increase if they fail to research and/or listen to inaccuracies on bb's.
Your the one posting rubbish...
bingo sorry
bing
I am certainly no basher, and certainly not paid, i don't want to see people suckered in thinking they are getting 17p per share. They are not. Simple as.. Read the rns... Stop throwing accusations around fool.....
