i think youve more chance of sleeping with kelly brook than des hitting 100p today fella,ha ha
I still want des to hit 100p lol today...i love dreaming come in dessssss
With the combined acreage, i see this as de-risking FOGL shares to a degree. Happy to be holding both DES & FOGL at these levels, have been increasing my BOR position recently. BW
Although FOGL will be gaining DES assets, acreage and $9m cash which allows access to the NFB and in doing so reduce risk to FOGL there will be additional shares. I'm not expecting an immediate rise following the merger, however the merger shall allow FOGL/DES to get the rig signed which is when we will see the next major rise and could be anytime after the merger. At the current SP's the market cap would be £140m, fully funded for a 5 well campaign with massive acreage covering both NFB & SFB. The next 12months should be interesting with good potential upside.
Yes but the good thing is they probably know we are going to make a fortune !!! and that it's something worth arguing over which bodes well for all of us loyal DESR's. Come on DES !!
they had a referendum,99% of population on the falkland islands want to be under british rule, end of story, argentina can threaten all they like,it will get them absolutely nowere.

FOGL/DES could move down toward pure cash value pending next campaign - (Circa £120m combined value - a discount of @28% on current SP's - I would not expect that amount of drop though) I expect this to drop on merger, but I also expect this to rise significantly as seismic data (end q1 2014), news of rig contract (RKH), rig mobilisation and drilling commencement during 2014 all IMO & good luck with whatever you decide to do
No chance of FOGL, going lower imho, will go much higher, who do you think is going to be awarded the licences to drill next week???,read the FOGL rns that will give you a clue.
this is my opinion m8,i think the sp will be somewere inbetween say 23p or so when we merge, and your 10 grand in des will still be worth 10 grand in fogl, but of course you will get less shares than you have now, because fogl ones will be greater in value, now ive confused myself,ha ha
What happens to sp in fogl wen they combine des and fogl together does the sp rise shsrply or what
Cum on whts everyones opinion on the sp before closure guysssss hit meeee....so how does it work.mmif u gt ten grand in des worth shares.....wht will it be worth when it converts into fogl...anyone let me knw...will it be woth 6 grand ?
Looks like they are taking fogl to low 20s. But yes I agree guys it's a chance for all to claw some cash back.
Couldn't agree more bring on the new era , And Daya its not going up one tiny cent over 17,76 pence its a done deal now please accept this as Fact !!!
i cant wait for my des share certificate to be replaced by fogl, had a bellyfull of des in the past, cant wait for thr deal to finally go through.
NEXT FEW DAYS BUY LOADS AND THEN SELL AT 50p what you reckon?
Need one massive lift....why cant we all put a massive vhuck hit 100p and close come onnnnn need 100mil in here
that not all investors got the chance to vote, but the deal has gone through,im just waiting for my fogl shares now.
Good point Frank, I was expecting some voting papers through the door,...do we get to vote?
i wonder how many share holders in des was offered the chance to vote on this merger i for one did not even know about it untill i read about it on here.
Been working away for a while, thought I'd check the board and just read tiler1's post - whats occurring. I 'd be most grateful if anyone could bring me up to speed - thanks in advance. Holding at 67p
yes m8 i remember when des was a 500 million market cap company with no oil, just expectation makes the sp rise, lots to look forward to when the deal goes through.
Hi Columbo I tend to agree and will hold and add when possible. Very impressed with the FOGL board and with a low avg in DES its worked out to be a very good deal. Good thing about FI stocks is they generally do well as soon as soon as there is a wiff of the rig and they will have rig down there for a long time starting late next year. If AIM Oil starts recovers next year and we start to see M&A activity, this will be a great starting point. GL
Thanks very much for that...got it now. GLA
hello m8,ive been wondering that myself,me personally,i dont think we will drop to much, theres quite a lot of expectation when this deal goes through, particularly with the future drilling campaign.
