I'd like to know / understand why anyone apart from the T/O company would be buying shares above the offer price? Anyone explain, please
For the price to be higher than the bid and agreed figure, the market makers are expecting a rival and higher bid. My method is to have sold two thirds of my holding at 1045 so that I am in good profit and let the other third run for the next announcement.

*there
Or is it the case that you can sell above what they are worth because they are always some stupid people out there? Or auto buys?
adding to my last post that it appeared that the offer is for 100% of the shares so no-one would get to keep them? Or would you get the option to?
Anyone more experienced able to suggest why these are trading for more than recommended takeover offer when dividends would be subtracted/included? Somebody want voting rights, rival bid, expect offer increase? What's the norm? TIA
not in but taking a look found it whilst looking at PHD

So so. This one continues to be slow and steady.
Not far from the 1100 now.
Liking the upward trend already.
Decided to come back in for these and think it will go back to 1100 reasonably soon.

I sold my holding back on 17th Oct so that I could get into something else. Timing looked right then. What has cause the large drop over November? Okay there was a dividend but not enough to cause a drop. Anybody got any pearls of wisdom as I've not been able to find anything??? So it may be time to come back in?
How can they fall 5% in a day and yet no news out on them. What do the insider dealers now that Joe Public doesn't?

The tie up with Astra Zeneca looks good but need to get more details.
Bought some more.
A reasonable dividend return. Fairly steady share price. Very good set of products with high potential. Don't think it will make anybody a fortune but will give a return.
Hi SPUP, what's your views on this company and the future of the sp? I fell across this by accident and thinking if having a small interest . Thanks in advance
Dividend payment tomorrow! Not sure why I enter anything on this chat trail as nobody else seems to be on it!!!
A nice week of rises, got to be some news behind it.
My opinion is 1035 but will take some time to get there.
Does 1000p look feasible in the next few months?
