Thanks.

Update from Investor Relations - I've forwarded the original email received tonight to those people that previously emailed for a copy of latest accounts etc - Makes grim reading I'm afraid. If anyone has any comments or suggestions please respond to crg.investor@outlook.com
Dear Paul,
We hope you are well and would like to update you about the situation of the Company.
We have tried to communicate to different stakeholders in South Africa to get a better understanding of the situation in relation to CRGSA. And many have suggested that obtaining the business rescue approval from the court will be impossible, and even if the court grant the business rescue application it will probably ask tens of millions of US dollar injection from the shareholders, as the plant is mostly stripped from the illegal miners even though the court has assigned security company, Volsec, to protect the plant. (Please note that Volsec is also the applicant who applied the liquidation of CRGSA). The major shareholder of the Company, Mr Wang, is unable to fund the capital injection from his own.
In a nutshell, it seems it is quite highly likely that CRGL will become a shell company in the foreseeable future. If that happens, Mr Wang is unwilling to inject further capital to keep CRGL. We would like to know, if CRGL becomes a shell company, do you think the rest of the shareholders are willing to inject capital (approximately 100,000 pound) to keep CRGL in a compliance status (e.g. remunerate resident agent) and acquire other projects (script deal most likely)? Or will you just suggest that we just close the company for good.
Redstone Capital is currently the largest debt holder (approximately USD10m) of the Company, they are willing to convert the debt into equity so the balance sheet looks healthier.
Both Redstone Capital and Mr Wang have injected approximately USD17m into this Company, and it is sad that it is highly likely that all shareholders will lose their investment. However, without further capital injection, the Company will facing striking off.
Thank you for taking time to read this long email and wish you all the best,
Investor Relation
Anyone with even the slightest hint of news good or bad or ugly? Such an asset with gold reaching good prices and nothing to report from the owners? This land cannot be war marked for housing , greenery etc. They must be doing something to the site . Anyone with eyes in s.a?

You
?
Dear Paul,
Thank you for your email.
Please see the attached AGM info pack.
In relation to the liquidation event of CRGSA, Central Rand Gold Limited ("CRGL") is also trying to gather as much as information as possible to investigate further, this including seeking clarity from the South African directors of CRGSA as well as other relevant South African stakeholders. However, please note that CRGSA is not the same company as CRGL. No creditors have applied for liquidation of CRGL. Having said that, CRGL has its own issue such as finding a new corporate service provider or a new NED from Guernsey Island. If could you assist with that, please do let us know.
Best Regards,
Investor Relation
k.j.k,
I agree, it suggests there's still a decent size operation, we can only hope that as CRND are still trading (even if it is on a wing & a prayer) that things may eventually improve in a favour at somepoint. Best we can do is keep trying Investor Relations to remind them we're still out there....
Winston yes i agree on pog but i was surprised to see that they are still employing nearly 130 people
Good spot k.j.k, it appears we're still trading and hanging on in there at least. The increase in pog certaintly won't do any harm.
OK so it does lol
I appears that we are still employing 130 which would be nice to get something from the company on that but we have to get it trough news releases.

I've tried investors relations twice and also copied in info@centralrandgold.com & still nothing. As long as they know we're still out there & not going to walk away whilst the lights are still on.
I have written again to investo relations at CRND. They have not answered my numerous emails , so I don’t hold much hope. I still feel I have to try , here’s to a miracle ...!
Someone set this chat area before, perhaps this may be helpful : http://crnd.freeforums.net/thread/2/works

I am sure some of you Britons are in SA once in a while, or have friends there. Shouldn't be too difficult to grab one of those guys...
Better think about how you guys going to do organize your share chat, once that lse.uk will stop listing Crnd?

It's looking dire, but as far as I am aware, the lights are still on & they are still processing / trading some how.
We've certainly had no correspondence / announcement on their website to say they have ceased trading. We've all lost a lot.
Are you saying we can expect an update? I thought CRND is dead for good. I lost a lot here... probably many others too.

I am assume the Water Levels haven't been published since CRND lost their mining license, I assume this to on/around 18th July.
It's about time we had an update on what's going on.
Has anyone else had any joy getting a response from CRND / or related parties?
Water Levels (AMD).... Wondering what the news could be, it's been a while now.

Heads up, at least this seem the only "defensive stock" on the market right now.
Q: What about the Chinese investor who lent money to Central Rand for a while?
Once had a mini 2k stake in here, and IMO its best to work these sort of punts purely with the amount you can handover as a tip to the company. (Back in those years far too much ramping surrounded this share as well as CEY for my taste.)
Thanks for the update Simon!
I've never known such a palaver, just when you think that noting else can wrong, wham! Have they just lost the New Order Mining Right or the 7 New Order Prospecting Rights as well? So effectively, CRND have now lost their main asset & resource for the second time (previously 2011).
How exactly can CRND re-acquire the mining right when they don't have any cash? Is it also fair to say that it may not exclusive and another party could come in a bid for the new underground mining right despite CRND donating the Ritz pumps etc?
CRND have had their mining rights rescinded ( you couldnt make this up ) and are now negotiating with the Govt to re acquire them. The issue surrounding all SA businesses is that they now have to have a full reflection of the diversity of population in both colour and gender. Whilst I can see how this would work in theory, the practice may be a little harder to implement and it looks like CRND havent done so quickly enough.
Copy of latest email:
Right now it depends on if the plant can operate without the mining right. If the answer is no, zero chance CRG can survive. The new board is still working with the government to get a tailing deposition right.
I think CRG has lots of potential even it lose its mining right. As there are lots of tailing materials around us. It is just the previous management left the Company with huge debt (about USD3-5m). And it is difficult to get substantial funding.
Not sure what else can be added to the above. It is going to take a considerable amount of time, effort and money to unlock the CRND fortune in Gold, but given the current SA working environment, its not going to be easy.
Simon

I've just sent them an updated version of the plea-for-an-update note which went unanswered back in March.
I have written to CRND again as I have not heard anything as yet. I would urge others to do the same if possible , as it may prompt them To release some information PI’s who have waited patiently.
mailto:investorrelations@centralrandgold.com
I have written to crnd today see if there are any updates on our investment . I hope to hear from them and hope positive news come through for us LTHs.

It seems CRND's neighbour ASX listed West Wits Mining Limited have re-started open pit mining, might be an opportunity to offer processing capacity:

Simon, thanks for update.
As Glib stated, it's much appreciated, keep up the good work.
Thanks for the update Simon.
Much appreciated.
Some slighty better news - we are making approx 2.1kgs of gold per week and yes, it is sent out by Helicopter. The details from the concentrator unit wont be ready for a few months yet, but the signs are encouraging. We are still losing money & require 3kgs per week to break even... the target for this concentrator is 6kgs per week, and if it works, it will be the first of many concentrator units purchased. We still have a long way to go and I am not scheduled to talk to anyone for another 2 months. DYOR. Simon

Many thanks Simon
Hello Gary / Garnet and anyone else who has asked for email correspondence. I had a long chat to a person on influence at CRND last week and I have chosen not to share our emails for my own security. I can however give you a brief outline of how I see our position. Concentrator up and running. A number of major issues with the cabling etc, but it is working and they are producing Gold with it.We will have a better understanding of how efficient it is in 2 / 3 months. We are still running at a loss, but this will be overturned as soon as the Concentrator is running at full speed, however we now have a few external hurdles to overcome. Sourcing good quality Tailings over and above the current load. Resolving supplier disputes / payments Resolving PUNO - still a thorn in our sides Resolving waste material issues We are not out of the woods, we still have a long way to go, but if we can catch a bit of good fortune, we may yet see a return on our investment, but not for a few years. I have put my shares in the bottom drawer, but will continue my correspondence with CRND and am happy to update anyone who wants to read my comments on here. We are all free to make contact with CRND, all the details of how to do this are on their website. They are my personal comments and do not constitute any indirect correspondence from CRND. Cheers Simon
Well said Winston. gary@victorcable.com please Simon. Many thanks!
Hi I am Garnet from South Africa could you please send me a copy as I have shears in CRND. My E mail is garnetamos@gmail.com. Thank you.
Simon, I'm very interested to see the exchange you've been having. derekm7@gmail.com, Cheers Derek
Hi Simon, I'd be interested in seeing a copy of your discussions. My email address is winst72@outlook.com
I've been talking via email to one of the people in the middle of this mess, happy to send copies to anyone interested individually, I wont put it all on here.
Thanks for persevering with your posts Gibbo-much appreciated!
Not long now until we will find out if we have lost all the money we put into CRND or if there is a glimmer of hope and we may see some if not all of it returned... obviously depending upon your price entry point.

It's on CRND's website for anyone who hasn't seen it: http://www.centralrandgold.com/voluntary-delisting-of-securities-operational-update-and-board-changes/ Fundamentally, very little has changed, the shares were suspended & non tradable, they have just been de-listed across the board. Mr Wang is now an Executive Director and the Chinese are in the driving seat. It still all hinges on the concentrator circuit.
All the info is there

It looks like its done.... Shareholders get nothing . Say buy to your fortunes you had in here.
I do hope so too gibbo but experience tells me otherwise. Someone has placed what looks like an RNS on ADVFN, doesnt look good .
Winston, youre on your own with that, Still I hope it works out for you.
HiggyP, this hasnt been my crowning glory, but I am not prepared to roll over in just yet. I am doing the reasearch I should have done at the beginning, following any lead, comment, whisper I can. It isnt pretty, even the Chinese think this is a bag of poo at the moment. There are a number of hurdles still to overcome and it all hinges on the concentrator unit. If this works, we may may just come out with our dignity in tact, if not were all screwed. So, Im going to hang in there, keep pushing for info and hopefully by July we will have definitive news. One of will be right.... I just hope its me.
FWIW , thus far ie 1.5 to 2yrs of predicting outcomes , bag of the fag calcs has never materialised . No point getting hopes up people . Reality check , the Chinese are involved , AIM market , crnd history of terrible RNSs even getting their dates wrong , it aint happening . Well wait and wait and hope and crash .
Hi Simon, Thanks for the update, do you have any thought on this: https://youtu.be/3sI5i1WYdp4
Not sure they can do that HiggyP or if they will want to, a fire sale wont help anyone, least of all the Chinese. They have a great deal of money invested here and fire-selling the company wont realize them much at all.... they like us need to make this work, all will be revealed by the end of June. Just a quick calc, the concentrator can sift through 100t per hour. Based on 8 hour day, 5 day week and using the 0.71g per ton we are looking at a $5m company in yearly revenue... valuation c. $15m or $ 0.6 / 0.04 per share. I'd be happy with that as a starting position...!! Yes, I do love rose tinted glasses, but hope to exchange them for clear lenses later this year.
Even if this does get relisted , which I doubt , but still live in hope . The Chinese are not going to give us our shares back . It may be relisted , brand spanking new while old holders will lose out.
Thanks for update Gibbo! Sounds promising.... it all rests on the success of the concentrator unit then. If that goes our way, it could really turn things around, lets hope Mr Wang & the Concentrator Unit can work miracles, it would be amazing if this came back from the dead. Can Mr Wang also do something with Puno? Who knows, there may even be a slim chance of under ground mining re-starting under this tenure.....
Thanks Gibbo, your updates are as I'm sure appreciated by all investors.
to me this is now a binary play... win or lose. We have all the assets but nothing to date to extract those assets and turn them into cash. We will know in June if our savior will be the concentrator unit, I certainly hope so... I have quite a lot of shares and too much money invested in here... hence my desire to get as much info as possible.
That can only be positive news, especially for 2 x plant managers. Also, Pump 1 seems to be back up & running full time again now.
