I hold 3 million shares and am totally invested in this share. I have emailed them just now. I would advise that all genuine holders do the same. Lets keep the pressure on for a steady stream of news.
for the updates chaps. I have over 12K invested with CRND so sitting on a potential disaster. However, your efforts, research and recent postings have given me a bit of heart. Will fire off an enquiry today and post any response. Thanks again. Incidentally, I am with Halifax and my account shows the same info as Dabbler.
great, I wouldnt hold your breath for a fast reply, but it shows us PI's are still there too. Can you post your email here for others to see? Simon
Done Simon! I've fired a load of questions at them inc concentrator circuit, how can they re-pay Mr Wnags $300k within 12 months, under ground mining & asked when we expect to hear the revised strategic plan etc
Thanks Winston/Eddy. Mine are in a Halifax Share-dealing ISA and I can confirm that it is still showing as a line item in my holdings. "Cost per share" and "total book cost" stated but "Price", "Valuation" and "P&L" all blanks. If, and I appreciate this is a MASSIVE IF, CRND was relisted there would be tax implications if the shares had been removed from the 'shelter' of the ISA so I think I'll sit tight and see what unfolds.
investorrelations@centralrandgold.com Just sent an email to this address asking for an update, it may help if a few more of us make the same contact. Simon
Shares can be relisted as it has happen to range resources RRL in December and had to do a admission document at a total cost to get readmitted was 750K not sure if that's or $ but i do not see that happening any time soon BUT just be hopeful that we might get something back here.
How or when will we get our shares back as the company is delisted I never had it happen to my self before. its still showing on the account as a 100% loss will they just come back on the uk stock market and if so what price you think?
Hi Derek - coincidently, I received a letter from HSBC yesterday with my share certificate attached. It has definitely been removed from my holdings account and they were effectively washing their hands of it. It will "physically" go in the bottom draw and if things change I'll work out what I do with it. All the best Eddy
The amount of shares you own should still be visible in your account and only be showing due to being de-listed / non tradable. Your holding should not be removed from your account until such time that the company is wound up & can officially be declared as a tax loss at which time your broker will advise in writing.
If you log onto your account u should be able to see the amount you brought from the statement you receive. then I'm guessing its just we wait and see I don't really know who else to contact
Derek, all I know is information garnered from my conversations with people who have a direct link to Central Rand, ie the Chairman. Whilst none of the information has been sensitive, it has shown me the workings going on behind the scenes trying to save our company. In November I would guess that CRND was within a few moments of going bust and calling in the administrators. I firmly believe that without Simon Charles's efforts, we as shareholders would be having a bun fight over the assets. Fast forward to January 2018 and we have a glimmer of hope - a New Hope? We are not bust, we have a new loan facility, we are mining for Gold ( OK, using tollings and surface material but lets not get too hung up on this ) we are making a little amount. Skip to February 2018 and we will have our concentrator on line. This will multiply the amount of material going forward by a factory of 4. If our costs stay relatively the same, it stands to reason that we will go from a negative to a positive in a very short space of time. Now, we can all look back and quote chapter and verse about missed deadlines, poor news flow, too much rain, not enough rain ( I know you cant make this stuff up! ) incorrect results from testing etc etc. However, we now have some very experienced gold miners on board, a new loan facility and the beginnings of a team who I hope can turn this world class asset into exactly that, a world class asset. Sit back, have a little more patience and lets see how the next few months unfold. Oh, if you have shares contact the company you purchased them through and get them to confirm the amount etc. I've never had to do this before so thats what I will be doing. As always DYOR.
I am sure you can ask your broker to send you a share certificate ,but you may have to pay a fee for it
Ring your broker, they might be more sensible unlike Mr MBachaan
Yes.
LOL. Yes, I know, hence the use of parentheses! The point being that right now I have no evidence that I hold shares in Central Rand Gold. I'm just wondering if that is something I need to do something about!? Do you know the answer to that question MBachaan?!
It's metaphorical, dude.
Gibbo, as the man who seems to have the most knowledge of such matters on this board.....and ref Eddy09's post earlier in the week.....for those of us who held our CRND shares in a Sharedealing ISA or similar, what do we put in the "bottom drawer" exactly? Do we need to make some request to secure physical share certificates to evidence our holding or will our shares simply reappear if the company relists in future? I'm in uncharted waters on this one! Cheers Derek
Thanks for the update Gibbo. The phoenix will rise from the ashes-with a huge dollop of luck our patience may well be rewarded. GLA
New cash from current shareholder Concentrator unit on line in February - installation delays New contact for investors - will send details later Outgoing chairman - considering the position we were in less than 2 months ago, deserves our gratitude. I had a good chat with him today and though he considers this a get out of jail rather than a success as it is not what he would have preferred. IMHO put these into a bottom drawer and bring them out in 6 months, its going to take a while to see the results. DYOR.
Very Interesting!!! A glimmer of hope..... Mr Wang is prepared to continue to support CRND, interesting that the total additional loan amount is only $300k, have things improved slightly financially? However, I noticed this extra loan is secured against 51% of CRND NV. The rising POG certainly can't do any harm! Lets hope the Chinese & a new Board can turn this around!
Everything crossed Guys-hopefully with the outgoing BOD gone we will get a steady stream of news and factual water levels etc. I have never truly given up on this share but having been invested for some time now I hope this comes good for all genuine holders. Best of luck all keep the champers on ice......
what does this mean for us share holders will we get our money back & will this trade strong again the news looks good
It appears that there is life in this dog yet. https://www.businesslive.co.za/story/?resource_id=SENSIN_20180116055500_33
Gibbo, there are a couple of slight glimmers of hope, the water level appears to be stable & has even fell marginally even during wet season, the company is still trading & therefore must have some value to cover debt, the concentrator circuit should have been up & running for 6 weeks and POG is quite a bit higher, which all helps the situation with whatever plan is being hatched in the background as per your emails with the Chairman. I could really do with a pleasant surprise from this one, as have also now been wiped out on Carillion shareholding and my main source of work being part of their supply chain.......
