Cairn Homes plc posted Interims for the 6 months ended 30th June 2023 this morning. The Group has experienced its best period to date for sales agreed with a current closed and forward order book of 2,730 homes with a net sales value in excess of €1 billion. 535 new home sales were closed, €219.5 million revenue generated and €29.6 million operating profit earned. Strong demand underpins management’s confidence in further upgrading FY23 guidance. The business is now expected to deliver FY23 sales completions of at least 1,800 new homes, an 18% increase over FY22 and a corresponding increase in operating profit to between €110 - €115 million, generating an operating margin of c. 16.5%. Valuation is attractive with forward PE ratio around 8x and top quartile for the sector, dividend yield is over 9 % and top ranked out of 25 names in the sector. The share price also has positive momentum. Main cloud is the macro backdrop and its potential impact on house prices, but management has plans to commence over ten new sites in the next 12 months, to support growth ambitions for 2024 and 2025. BUY....

Currency Change on London Stock Exchange
8 January 2021: Cairn Homes plc ("Cairn", or the "Company") (Euronext Dublin/LSE: CRN), the leading Irish homebuilding company, announces it has applied to the London Stock Exchange to change the currency in which the Company's ordinary shares are traded on the London Stock Exchange from Euro to Sterling. It is expected this change will become effective at 8.00 am on 11 January 2021.
The currency in which Cairn 's ordinary shares are traded on Euronext Dublin will remain Euro. The Company's financial statements will continue to be presented in Euro.
Well Frank,
If you read the RNS from last week it will explain that CAIRN HOMES is now quoted in Sterling rather than Euro. It's actually up about 1% only
Up 9,000% why?
Cheers Ma0 -Last time I heard of that yoke, Santa came to me!
Here's to another plus day but me fears some late trades were much lower last evening....
LSE glitch or the IT chap is playing Spirograph.
Could anybody explain today's graph here on CAIRN, or is it only my computer?
Should the news of glenveagh's failed planning bid in Dublin (800ish mixed use units) be seen as a positive for Cairn Homes as they have massive planning granted all over the city?
(Sharecast News) - Cairn Homes said on Friday that Deirdre McIntosh, spouse of co-founder Alan McIntosh, had acquired 32.89m ordinary shares in the London-listed housebuilder.
I found this very impressive; would appreciate any seasoned investors in Cairn Homes opinion to consider with my research.
Thanks in advance.
Share buy back completed today, will we see another announced on Thursday???..
Must be coming close to the end of the daily RNS's. 17m shares brought back and with Brexit uncertainty out of the way this hopefully will continue on a positive trajectory..
That makes €147.5M Urbeo have spent, (with Cairn), this year. Keep it coming!!
RNS - BOOM......
