Yeah slippy. Maybe they are still sending teasers out too.
Maybe Jimski is holding out for your £3.93 . Maybe we are going to have another little raise to see us through ?
I have reduced a bit further, couldn’t resist some Bitcoin miners on the dip.
I guess this will happen some day but 18months with no deal is pitiful and more than a tad boring.
Yes I have, with only one buyer in both cases.
Yes it's tortuous, and if it's "confidential" then you cannot say ANYTHING.
However, if MC can say "we're in advance talks with two potential buyers" in December then ...???
Has anyone been involved in a buy/sale process before.... it takes ages, even with a seller and one buyer.
Throw into the mix 2 potential buyers with Jim hell bent on getting the best deal for himself and therefore us.
Who knows maybe some of the other NDA interested parties have have joined in.
If it has collapsed we'd know about it, so imo no news and potentially means more $$
- that is to say I would expect it before opening on Canadian market not the UK
Yes that is the likely timing
If it turns out to be Calibre would the RNS be released up to an hour before opening on the UK or Canadian markets?
I think you are talking to the wrong man. It’s Jim Mellon who is conducting the sale for the benefit of his 25% shareholding. This is now well above Mark’s pay grade and that is why he has disappeared. The sale process must be close to a conclusion so just be patient. There is no benefit to shareholders in updating us at this point about progress of the negotiations, as giving a running commentary on private negotiations in a publicly available document would be commercially counterproductive. With all the NDA’s in place they have to be very careful what they say even if they wanted to say something.
FFS Onion, get on with it man!
Well would be surprised if it was the non dom granny robber slim !
It would be nice to think they had.
I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a response.
I would like to think one of them had a honest bone in there body while onions a poor excuse for a co I may trip at the next encounter with a large coffee or red wine 😂
it's over a month since slim was told we're very close and yet still nothing. everyday i check the rns at 7am and every day nothing , the weeks just keep ticking by and we keep holding on in hope.
it's time for an update jim. mc seems to have disappeared totally, is he ordering his super yacht or building a bunker in case it all goes belly up.
what do you reckon slim? do you think big jim might have been pulling your ****er?
gla.
just getting bloody frustrated.
There are 14 concessions covering the La India gold district of 649 KM^2.
Expiry dates of the concessions range from 2026 to 2044 with the greatest acreage being in the 2030-2044 range
The closest expiries are in 2026 and 2027 overing an area of 70.5 km^2
Sell off in Price of Gold today, had to be expected at some point.
Come on Big Jim, get this over the line!
BenBen there is plenty of upside to Condor. Firstly Condor have cleared the site so we have technically started to build the mine and that is key. Secondly we physically own all the land at La India and spent £50m over the last 10 years so really no one else can do anything on the land "ever" without our buying our land. Finally we own all the IP and data that underpins the whole mine build that would take someone else 5 years to redo. i would be delighted if Condor just get on and build the mine today but we are in a 2 horse race waiting for the sale to land, which could be any time really. Fill your boots while the price is low imho. gla
I thought the La India concession expired in January 2027.
Calibrale is in no hurry anywhere
1.Condor is 8 months away from expiration date on la India concession. (Where most reserves are located) Then it returns to the ownership of the Nicaraguan government and calibre can apply without paying a cent to Condor ( except for the land which of course would be significantly cheaper without concession rights)
2. Most reserves contain relatively low-grade 1.8g/t The cost of developing the mine without processing plant is about 70M add to that transportation cost to their facility in la libertad... I'm not sure there's a profit there, it's hard for me to see a scenario where Calibre builds another planet when they're working on 50%capacity at the existing facility.
3.The calculation of the NPV Was done few yarts ago however in parallel with gold prices, also gas prices, machinery , labor y other expenses increased accordingly.
4.Condor's NPV calculation is, complete joke for many reasons but the main issue they actually calculate by 5% discount In the current global inflation and taking into account this jurisdiction It's not even a joke,
Whoever thinks Calibre is going to pay morethan the current market price better wake up...
year and a half and we're in the same place, unfortunately, with the same c***py management
On the 18th Jan 24, Condor tweeted:
We have a gold mine that is fully owned/permitted, construction-ready, in a major gold district.
This opportunity is a rarity. We're dedicated to delivering the value $CNR / $COG shareholders deserve.
If there is a deal incoming, it has to be 80p plus, otherwise the past year and a half has been a total waste of time and a complete failure of all the ground work in getting the company where it is today, the increase in gold prices adds huge weight in a price nearer £ in my opinion plus you have to include the high potential of extra gold resources that Jim/Mark have always stated has extra valuation.
Thank you
Well, the NPV at $2000 is $628m and at $2200 it is $769m so you can calculate any %. Personally, I can't see the project going for above 50% NPV based only on jurisdiction but I could be wrong. We have de-risked the project as much as feasibly possible other than the last 0.4% of the land.
How much is 25% NPV at $2000 , 2200 Gold ?
My best guess was April 19th to 26th for the Annual Reports / Asset sale update. The latter is material to everything we do, so I don't see how you can avoid saying something meaningful. I doubt a 'negotiations are ongoing' type comment would work in this situation; it certainly wouldn't for me.
Calibre now have their ducks in a row, so I can't see what would stop them agreeing a deal. The question is whether JM is in the same ball park. Maybe the Chinese are actually serious, and are also working the situation.
One thing that has become apparent is how irrelevant the SP actually is. It continues to drift up and down with daily sentiment, usually driven by people making the wrong assumptions about what is actually going on. At around 30p my sense is that it's not a way off the deal valuation point, and investors are (currently) reluctant to bail out in case an announcement appears. And we all know that an RNS could appear any day, we just don't know which day.
The boredom vs. fear of missing out trades are set to play on.
I'll continue to stay put.
I'd take 25% NPV at $2000 gold.
US$909m.
If the buyer pays 25% of NPV, that is US$227m or around 90p per share.
