Not me - proceeds already fed back into the market, and (mostly) making positive returns!!
I’m going to sit tight.
Some people must think there's a possibility of a higher bid coming along.
Why else pay above 71p??
Fantastic news if you were holding. I knew it was cheap but invested elsewhere. Been in and out for years and always thought a well run and interesting company in a difficult area. I’m sad it’s sold well done everyone who stayed in.
Deal will complete by year-end, so to avoid dealing costs I’ll await the cash payment.
It's a done deal I think. Management and major institutional shareholders all on board by the looks of it.
After a terrible couple of weeks this was a nice surprise this morning. Whats the feeling on this now? I'm tempted to sell but I hoping to squeeze a bit more profit out of this.
Obviously nice to get a quick gain on a large holding that I've been building up over time, but also a bit miffed to some extent as I believed the stock was worth 90p to £1. Ah well, I guess I can live with it...;-))
Announced at 71p - looks like a done deal unless someone else steps up with a better offer.
I seem to have held these shares forever but they've paid good dividends along the way so I'm happy. Now, what to do with the proceeds?
Yes
They seem to be doing all the right things , net debt down 4.5m , pension deficit down by nearly 10m , throwing off quite a bit of cash , divi up but not paying too much tax . So I hope Mr Market has got it wrong , wouldn't be the first time, so I won't be adding as I've already got quite a few of these but I'm not selling either.
I'm not so sure. I've been invested for 5 years, bought in at 65p but bought the dips to average down. If I sold today I would just about wipe my face, although I have had some nice divis along the way. There's always talk of the wonderful new contracts they are picking up but if you look at the numbers the top line shows sluggish growth and the bottom line is not going anywhere fast (and margins not great). Is it worth keeping just for the yield ? I'm not convinced this is going anywhere. It's one of those jam tomorrow stocks. Opinions valued.
They sold their 5.7% stake.
With regards to FP CRUX UCITS OEIC & Witan Investment Trust. Are they adding or disposing? thanks in advance.<br />
Still heading in right direction. I agree this is undervalued.
I see two RNS's both giving "Price Monitoring Extension" due to the action price being out % wise to the share price, perhaps a far finger mistake.
Not sure what the sharp rise today was about. I guess we will se if it holds tomorrow.
...and a nice 7% increase at the close...!
Agreed - figures were fine, CF up, pension deficit down , and a single digit PE with 5% yield - what's not to like?
After being out of these for about a year I bought back in today. I think they are way under valued and who can refuse 5% plus a year, try getting that on your current account. I will hold and top up when I can.
Matt - I can't see anything detrimental either and it seems a drift on no news, as the AGM statement was only in May.
With a 5%+ dividend and interims due early August (3rd last year) - If we are right it should get a modest lift from these.
I'm in for a small top up here
Only sales I can see are the ones to cover the tax liability from vesting stock options. tock now on 8x earnings, and the AGM statement says the business proceeding as planned. Strong Buy here IMV.
Seems a bargain this one, all the fundamentals seem good with a solid dividend to back it up. Only thing that troubles me is the directors seem to be selling rather than buying?
..territory. As I stated below, I'm a buyer here!
Almost 1.5 M shares bought in last few hours that represents almost a week of normal trading. Hoping others see what a steady and exciting share this is. I am disappointed price didn’t rise on recent results.
