could someone please tell me the pay date of the 81p cheers
I agree with Czarboy's comments, but in this particular case, City Am says 60 percent of shareholders have already accepted, presume that's major shareholders like N. Woodford etc.
Thank you all for your comments re buy out.
It can be wise to sell now and pay dealing charges because you can make more money elsewhere that would more than cover what you save. Also some takeovers do fall through and the price drops back again so it can be wise to sell, albeit I think that highly unlikely here. On the other side of the coin you can keep the shares until compulsory purchase and see if an alternative bidder comes along and offers even more for the shares, again I think that is unlikely here. The choice is yours......
No point in selling under 81p- why pay Dealing charges?
Graham. I am not sure but I think that eventually there will be a compulsory purchase of your shares @ 81p per share when the company goes into private ownership. I sold mine yesterday @79.2p per share for a whopping 93% profit. I believe that this is the current sell price for your shares although it has fluctuated slightly over the last 2 days ATB.
Can somebody kindly explain what will happen to the shares I am holding.
Well done all....Sold my all shares 30k plus Thank you Cityfibre.
Very pleasing to read this mornings RNS and to see an improvement in the shareprice after such a long time. I was wondering if CITY were ever going to come good. The future now looks bright in the mid to longer term.
Interesting times
a_patel93. The mean broker/analyst target for 12 months is around 75p. Some suggest that the target price should be in excess of 100p. Who knows what it might be in the event that bids are made for the company? My personal target price is 70p and I will sell all my holdings when the share price lies in excess of this value. ATB
What is everyone's targets they will sell at? Mine is 60-75p. Don't have a time in mind, maybe 6-12 months max.
Thank you.
Thanks Emperor. I had a similar thought bearing in mind that exactly 100,000 shares were sold. The current price is close to the 12-month low, and it will be interesting to see what happens once we are presented with the trading update, and notice of results next Tuesday.
Jandialbi, Attached is a list of iWeb s charges. ATB. http://www.iweb-sharedealing.co.uk/PDFs/CostsAndCharges.pdf
Hi, TLWilliams You mentioned about iWeb on Gsk site .....one off fee to join, 5 dealing commission per trade ,are there any other charges apart from these ? Thanks in advance.
Few more..12531 at 40.65.....at this price ,worth a punt. GLA
I have just noted that these are classified as Uncrossed Trades.
100,000 shares sold @40.2p (lowest price of the day; close to year low price) at 16.35 this afternoon. Why?
so what i'm trying to say is this stock is a strong buy at these levels, for a medium/long term hold. revenue has been doubling year on year, operating profit has been reducing slowly. only issue is the the PBT is quite high, but if you see the PBT relative to the increasing revenue, this does point to a good future. we just need minimal blips with the partnership with vodafone, and hopefully if all goes well, then we're looking good for more future contracts!
