RE: If

In the case of the open offer broker debacle, we could all call and email our brokers to say wtf.

In this case, we are all now in the same boat.

Emailing or getting in contact is something I would like to do but we all know from experience it will yield nothing but "all is going accordingly"

If they slip up in their communication with anyone one of us, and say too much, what do we think will follow that mistake?

If they say it's almost done and it goes into suspension after 6 months, because of last minute disagreements, what then?

I believe this is such a situation that ONLY what happens will matter, they can say anything when pushed, but what happens can be completely different.

Imo

Everyone is free to do what they wish btw, am just calling for calm, it will do everyone a lot of good.

Jace that wasn't directed at you.

Pmac1900, there are situations where we can all ask the board what's going on. While sitting waiting for a RTO, within the first 10 weeks of a 26 week window, I personally feel is unnecessary.

We all have the same interests as Jace86 pointed out.

Assuming that emailing them will yield something worth while, while work on an RTO is ongoing, I simply don't know imo. As they can yield the info we want to hear via email and not rns.

10 weeks or so in, am surprised this board is this relaxed. But hysteria will drive people mad.

We have someone like Antos still buying and maintaining his holding long after derampers claimed he was only here for psl. His buys put that to rest.

What more do people need.

I too would love to know what's going on like everyone else. We honestly have little choice but to sit and wait.

Patience

A Milli - that response is a bit strong, no one is trying to force hopeful promises out of anyone. On the other hand asking for some transparency is as shareholders is the least we are entitled too. There has been a black hole of information for 10 weeks. If this is something your prepared to sit on for another 14 weeks then I’m pleased for you. I’m pretty sure ppl will have seriously invested money in this shell - and to suggest they just shut up and put up without asking reasoned informed questions of the BOD is IMO absurd.

We all have the same interests now which is to get something away and as I pointed out in my original post at the start of this thread the latest RNS's were put out in such a way to not create panic/fear.

With knowing that there had been emails being passed about and whilst its nice for the bod to articulate a reply to holders, their resource would be better spent not replying with what we may already know but instead moving forward with the identification of a suitable target and establishing a value here.

I dont get the impression that the bod are fed up of the emails as the tones have been professional and polite but for them too it must get frustrating to provide the same/similar replies to each one.

Jace...i agree, we've done enough to upset them, forcing an open offer. Even though they vare 'trying' for an RTO, the BoD are probably pi/s/sed with us shareholders, so don't get their backs up otherwise they might issue another 'downer' RNS with a simple play on words to sink the sp.

IT's called 'invested in a company run by r/souls'

Not quite the way I was trying to word it but perhaps makes a better point does A_Milli.

I was simple encouraging people to not pester the bod for now.

It's spelled out clearly in the cash shell rns.

Anyone investing should know the basics having researched what they put their hard earned money into.

I have seen people throwing money into gold companies, and then openly complaining that they don't understand the gold mining lingo. Are you f serious?

This is the stock market, lets not water it down.

If you don't understand something, Don't put your money into it. It's that simple.

Originally we had 6 months to be a cash shell, just over 2 months have elapsed. We all know this.

Negotiations in anything can fall apart at the last minute.

So forcing hopeful promises out of them could lead to a lot of pain. We've seen people sell on rns they didn't understand multiple times in this BOU alone. SHOCKING stuff.

This can fall apart any time. It can be crap RTO. It can be ok RTO. It can be good RTO or it can be really good RTO. No promises. That's the uncertainty and that's the risk.

Understand that they can't give inside info, so let's wait like adults until we get official answers to what's going on.

I am aware of several replies to several people that went out individually. I would say the hard press isnt needed so we can let them just get on with it.

But not everyone will see that the same way so even a very vague RNS/communication could put a lot of email traffic to bed.

Sentiment
Today 14:54
Just a bit more with sentiment, I believe some "problems" may have been leaving us/BOU recently with looking at the sells.

My view and perhaps my message here would be that not all posters are of the same trading group making a cup of freshly squeezed. There are those of us in a group holding and genuinely supporting a positive outcome.

Agree Jace,
the reply i received from the comp. few days ago was:
”....The directors have a mandate to apply shareholders’ funds to make a meaningful return. .....The directors are aware of their duties and are actively managing the company’s position as an acquisitive cash shell.......
We will of course update shareholders in the accepted format in due course...."

but i would be interested to know if anyone got a similar/different reply.

There are some discussions on going (which I do think as accumulation has stopped), I think it'd be a nice sentiment from the new guy (Syms) to consider putting out an RNS that would reverse the bad sentiment from the one in April.

Just thinking if there is to be a true fresh start here that some kind of news would be well received and aid market sentiment to the view that shareholders will be kept "linked in" with the chain of events. Sentiment is crucial in AIM as it has such a short memory.

It's worth noting and reminding that the timing of the latest holdings RNS' at the end of the markets were done well too in order to prevent panic.

Despite the sells and the lowering of the price, people have struggled to buy in volume.

When you have a rough idea of holdings of people on here and elsewhere it also tells me that there must be some big holders just sub 3 percent that havent revealed their hands either.

Thanks Jace

I had to buy in 2 lots today and 1 hour apart as it wouldn't accept both together.
Ones showing on NEX the other on LSE.

Thanks for answering

Onco - the spread on nex is wildly disproportionate.

It looks as though nex gets used when theres issues with liquidity. We know that there is as everyone is holding tight.

Can someone help me out please.
There's another BOU that comes up when I search on this site, it's noted as Bould Opportunities Plc on NEX. My buys via HL are showing on there as sells.

I'm new to this game and not sure what's going on.....

Havoc - not sure he was even right this time - certainly the timing of his posts indicates otherwise, but we haven't yet retraced to 4/100ths after reaching 25/1000ths!
