@pb940 I am, but grudgingly it is. As for Pdub's "balanced approach" his lack of balance created the situation which caused me to get on my high horse in the first place. Mea Culpa.

For the sake of a harmonious board I will say no more than long term holders / readers know the truth. And then let it lie.

Ophidian your gross misrepresentation of our previous conversations back in whenever stuns me. My brutality? I remember being the victim of the full force of your sarcasm and oatronising and rude comments. The gentlest comments you directed my way for supporting Fortune included 'happy clappy' and 'blind faith'. The harsher / ruder ones I will not repeat.

However in the end I was right about Fortune. You are sitting on large profits because he indeed did have the ability to deliver, just as I have consistently said. Another reason why I am smiling.

I truly hope we have moved on from those days. Hopefully your intervention earlier does not lead us down that path of negativity.

That is all I have to say.

You can all breath out now.

Regards. Pdub.

As much as I appreciate the usually high quality of posting on this board, the constant clashing of oversized egos gets old very quickly.

Give it a rest all of you.

@Pdub - I just remember at the time making some observations about when and for how long the shares should have been suspended and also issues around the changes which removed the shareholder vote and prospectus that were RNSed one day and then summarily killed. Not unlike the undertakings RNSed to repay the Darwin loan and then ignored etc. Your brutality towards me then behind your "Fortune plays by the rules" strap line are not forgotten. You were wrong - just admit it and move on.

So is the issue basically that they were late reporting the exclusivity deal to the market?

Really Ophidian? You know all the details? Who did what? How BMN were advised etc etc.?

Then you know more than me.

I do recognise the strength of.a CEO that accepts the ruling.

I stand by my support of Fortune.

ps I am not quite sure who you are trying to discredit more - Fortune or me. Nor why you would seek to do so.

Come on knuttie, even grudgingly you must be happy that they said something as positive as that AND didn't lower the target price. That's a win win for me :)

Pdub, your enthusiasm for SP Angel always makes me smile.

Oh Pdub you never let me down. Firstly SP Angel are applying the rule of making sure no s h I t flows in their direction, cannot blame them for that. But you laud their SP target, you don't believe SP tyargets are worth very much so why bring it up.

And to clear up any doubt whatsoever about SP Angel there were first appointed as Joint Broker on 16 December 2016, just in case there is any suggestion of their involvement. On that date Strand Hanson were still the Nomad and Beaufort were the other broker.

Thanks for posting that Pb940.

Great response from SP Angel backing their client and clearing up any doubt about their involvement. They reported the news but included this phrase:

"The Nomad at the time of the breach was Strand Hanson and the broker was Beaufort Securities who are now in Administration due to action by the SEC."

And then what a great way to give their backing to BMN:

"Bushveld Minerals is the second most successful share in the FTSE AIM All Share Index this year at 394% uplift and a market cap of £470m just behind Tern a cloud computing business at 622% performance and a market cap of just £35m.

This means that Bushveld has, in all probability, made more money for investors than any other stock on the AIM market this year in terms of value creation with exceptional strong earnings and cash flow growth."

Thank you SP Angel. And let's not forget the current SP Angel target for BMN of 87p.

Bushveld Minerals 41.5p, Mkt Cap £467m – AIM fine for disclosure delay on exclusivity fee for material transaction relating to Vametco stake acquisition

BUY - Target Price 87p

(Bushveld Minerals now hold 74% of Vametco and 84% of Bushveld Energy it’s vanadium redox battery unit)

Bushveld Minerals have been fined by The London Stock Exchange for a technical breach of the AIM rules.
The fine for £700,000 is discounted to £490,000 in the event of early settlement.

The Nomad at the time of the breach was Strand Hanson and the broker was Beaufort Securities who are now in Administration due to action by the SEC.

The statement from the London Stock Exchange describes the rule breach in some detail.

Bushveld Minerals shares have continued to gain value since its effective acquisition of the Vametco vanadium assets in South Africa.

Bushveld Minerals is the second most successful share in the FTSE AIM All Share Index this year at 394% uplift and a market cap of £470m just behind Tern a cloud computing business at 622% performance and a market cap of just £35m.

This means that Bushveld has, in all probability, made more money for investors than any other stock on the AIM market this year in terms of value creation with exceptional strong earnings and cash flow growth.
Ferro-vanadium – prices slip in China due to profit taking by traders as buyers hold back

Ferro-vanadium prices slipped $14.4% in China to $103-108/kg yesterday on Fastmarkets MB.
“There is still no deals done this week though we have lowered our offer prices to $121-122 per kg,” a ferro-alloy smelter, who offered at a price above $140 per kg in the previous week, told Fastmarkets.

The price also pulled back another US$2/kg to US$120.5/kg on Asiametals.com.
Vanadium pentoxide prices also pulled back 22.8% to 20-24/lb FOB China though the pentoxide price does move differently to ferro-vanadium.

Fastmarkets’ price assessment for vanadium pentoxide, fob China, was assessed at $27-30 per lb on Thursday, down 8.1% from $30-32 per lb a week earlier.

The move is not unexpected as vanadium prices have been running at extraordinarily high levels
The ferro-vanadium market is also adjusting to higher demand for Grade 3 rebar as traders and construction companies are not able to get away with using ‘Quench & Tempered’ steel anymore due to tightened regulations and new testing procedures.

China’s Green Shield policies have also cut out vanadium from stone coal production as well as redirected vanadium slag processing to plants outside China disrupting this source of vanadium production in the process.
Conclusion: We expect Bushveld’s earnings to continue to grow on our ferro-vanadium price assumptions. The estimates below speak for themselves.
