Replied in SKG.
that financials are back in favour ( in a big way ) is more important right now than brexit , i can see bank of ireland over 30 cents within six months easily ps anyone got a view on smurfit kappa right now , bought prior to dividend for 23.50 but the stock has been in a range now for two years , no discussion on it anywhere so sneaking this one in
Id take anything 20 plus cent after brexit etc...but 2018 id expect around 30 ish cent ..on north , i just hope for peace , dont care about politics
I know we are all going off thread these days but the SP is a mess and we have sweet little to discuss. In regards to a hard border, this will only mean one thing and that is a return to violence. NI apart from a massive drain on the UK economy it is fast becoming a massive thorn.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-europe-39891853/could-brexit-lead-way-to-a-united-ireland Sort of l@@ks like it is getting closer. Good video feature and on the BBC... Me thinks the UK government are finding it expensive to prop up anyway. I would say they would love to offload it given half a chance. Key question therefore is... Will there be 'border poll' in the next few years?
of any significance on boi.. the past 2 weeks.. is boi alive..? daily news on aib .. floating aib stock (sale of stock) just aroubd the corner according to Noonan.. aib in the news every day. https://www.irishtimes.com/business/financial-services/conditions-are-ideal-for-aib-flotation-says-noonan-1.3077351?mode=amp

Bejuses, now give it to them. Beat the yoke of imperilism till it's scrambled.
The sooner the better Boucher goes and a new CEO and team r in place the better
Telling posters what they can discuss and telling each other how clever they are I have a 3yo that does the same thing. I'd like to point out you have to go back an awful long way an awful long way to find any responses too one of yere posts.deadcat you might forward this to torksie and let him know nobody cares
Hopefully new jockstraps on the way, or at least a change of balls!
23c an old wore out jockstrap has more support than our fkir.
Pox of a share.
Naked manipulation back on the agenda, down 4% in 24 hrs! Could be dragged to 23 again today. And unfortunately Blackrock have actually increased their stake....... will it ever end?
Describes you and Torquay to a Tee at this rate I'm goring to filter myself
Yes indeed but have been busy these last few days and hard work on the course today so am having an early night because we are having visitors tomorrow so will give them a blast round the West Country South. Not in the humour to swat flies tonight. Good luck..
Ahe Torquay, l@@s like we have a live one on here tonight. Where I come from we get yapping dogs and hens as described above. Martin is trying to rationalise Brexit with a view to understanding how Brexit will impact the banking sector and in particular FKIR. I think we have room on this forum for such a discussion thread. However, I see you have already worked out the impact of Brexit on UK/European equities. You must be very wise indeed...
A new but unfamiliar name appears and calls us Jaded - maybe he's right - looking at his other posts I'd guess he strayed onto here. Unless of course my filter has stopped working... Good luck all - a bit jaded tonight.
Martin - am more than aware of the potential risks of Brexit, but yapping hens discussions sheds no new light. I believe in life after Brexit, and yes if I was living in UK, I would be much more worried, losing sleep and wondering how not to lose on my investments. BTW the greatest threat posed by Brexit is for the UK and European shares will fare much better.
Sorry
If you think Brixiit don't do not matter to this Share you are going to loose serious money or any other Share you care to name in Europe
all these posts about the UK and EU? Why not take it to some other forum, this is meant to be a BB for BKIR and not some political ping pong exercise of boring/jaded debates.
When serious Politicians get away from the Elite and sit around table reality will set in to do damage to other Countries the price will be to high Agriculture was always big for Ireland can not see any reason why this should change City of London the value of financial assets, four times that of Britains G D P guaranteed by Gov,cannot see any gov wanting to take this on And has our friend (Torquay) and I agree low paid jobs are so many, but car industry is big for any Country with good paid jobs Could go on we are where we are but we have to be positive, but always stand to be corrected G. l .A
