I believe 62p it's okay... I calculate 63p as well, all depends of the dollar value for today (the time they converted)
I'm down £322.80 at the moment. Average of £3.0873 (before consolidation)
H&L have already changed over. They spiked first thing but are now about 3p up. I can't see the conversion rate used for the special div, but I am using 62p.
Yeap, LSE need to update their site & platform. We have had a dividends and now it's waiting time to see the share price recover
Tell us more please.
Morning Obelix - yes it is SIG - the effect does not seem as bad as we had thought
Morning Mate, how are you? I hope you're well.
Do you know the new code for BBA? I can't find yet.
Thanks for your help and time, have a nice day.
Obelix
Agree 100%... Happy Hour it's coming... lol
Well - lets talk on Monday and either cry together or smile!
I think we will lose money here on Monday... 20% fall share price (I can be wrong of course)
Short-term it's not good for us, long-term (may be in 1 or 2 months) we will be fine
I am sticking - Apart from HSBC who have said hold we have 7 brokers updates that are positive since the announcement.
It's confuse to be honest. Basically, they will pay 20% in Dividends, but they will give back on 13/12
The share price still up from yesterday and buys are coming.
I'm confuse and not sure what's to do... lol
I hope not!! I think we will have to wait and see. I think if they were going to drop we would have seen more movement than we have
Hi New-to-market,
I read the news 2 times to make sure I was correct... lol
English it's not my first language, but for my understand we will have to divide 5 / 4 = 1.25 then our shares divide by 1.25 (no problem) was easy to do the Maths.
The next and big question is:
We will see the share price fall 80.71p on Monday? (ex-dividend date)
They are returning the value for the shareholders (that they issue & placing) "new shares" while ago.
Thanks
Hi Obelix - it because they are going to -rename and reissue shares 4 new for 5 old so a 20% div is maybe not that attractive
Does anyone here knows how to calculate the value of the share price for Monday?
I'm still confuse.com .... lol
Obelix
Morning Mate, how are you? I hope you're well.
I have 1 question for you? why we still at 0.19% up if we will have a special dividends next Monday?
Do you know why?
Thanks
That was meant to read "not tomorrow"
80.71c - It goes ex-div Monday not Monday
Does anyone here know exactly how much will be the Special Dividends tomorrow?
Thanks to all,
Obelix
with the return of capital. I thought the share was undervalued and saw no reason for it to fall to 232p. It has got a boost today but has been recovering strongly fora while. Turning 67 million benjamins into 1365m in 13 years is a nice bit of alchemy and no wonder the market is applauding it today.
so I am not sure why the SP is not airborne today. Decent 5% rise in the divi and a swing to profit. Investors must be having a bout of motion sickness which would account for some of the drop. Lots to like here and I have a feeling when we see an upswing when market joie de vivre returns.
Today in the Sunday Times business section.
reassuring RNS and a positive update . Looks like this company has the potential for sustained growth at last.
