OK, thanks kenj.
"presumably you didn't try join it either then since you are now out?"
Correct, Lejjb, but from what I can see the AST group does not seem as well organised.
kenj - thanks. I was referring to the AST shareholders' group: presumably you didn't try join it either then since you are now out?
Lejjb,
I have not joined nor contacted the BZT shareholder group. I was unimpressed with the Afren shareholder group formed before they collapsed, and remain unconvinced that BZT really need this. AST on the other-hand !!!
kenj - have you been in touch with that shareholders group that formed last month?
Scott,
To call an EGM you need 5% of the total share holding behind you. That should be easily achievable with the disgruntled posters here combining their shares. The main problem is that it needs someone to organize all this. And despite the dire performance of the company and CH, nobody has stepped up to the plate (don't look at me, I'm out).
Bezant Resources (BZT) shareholders have done exactly this, despite being so much better managed than this parody of an O&G producer. They don't seem to have achieved very much yet, but they do have a doorway into discussions with the BoD, and one meeting has already taken place. Trellis35 has taken on this challenge for BST.
Trellis is currently unwell, so may not be able to offer any guidance, but if you want an EGM then somebody is going to have to organize AST shareholders. CH is hardly likely to call one, unless he wants approval to issue more shares.
Although saying that, this meeting should be better than last years as Carver has now gone so Colin might be more willing to divulge information.
For the record, I think this meeting will be more about (selling) the opportunities in Croatia and as such laying the groundwork for a possible fund raise after June. There's not much to say about Slovenia until JL get's over ruled or the sack.
bradis - I'm not attending that presentation just to be quiet, trust me on that.
Antha - I was mistaken. I thought the 7 March 2018 was a GM but it was not, apologies!
Bradis - I do recall the Oil and Gas evening (I wasn't there though.), but it's easier to hide as part of a broader conference.
It’s up to you then to make sure you attend and give him a Jeremy Paxman style grilling if you feel this is necessary. Don’t rely on others to do it for you?
The shareholder meeting from last year (07 March 2018) went exactly the same way, lot's of expectation beforehand then on the night nothing just a lot of angry pi's not willing to confront them with hard questions. History will repeat itself.
That’s not quite right lejjb. Colin attended the LSE oil and gas evening back in September 2017, which I attended and was able to ask a question which was not pre-screened. At the time we were waiting for Croatia to grant the relevant permit for the pipeline, which I don’t think we got until November 2017. Also whilst there was no RNS beforehand, I think he did announce something at the event so an RNS was necessary the next day.
(To make Antha's job easier: as repeated multiple times on this board, CH has only organised conf calls with pre-screened questions. He has not organised non-GMs/AGMs face-to-face before... or has he for you Antha?)
Antha - when?
I would expect if he comes with nothing , an EGM , will be called within days , which he will surely no the outcome
Why can't he, he's done it before.
I probably agree with you too.
And CH is aware that he cannot get away with making a presentation without any substantial developments beforehand.
Still intending on cutting my losses with AST soon if nothing substantial comes of the Q&A session.
I do not want to chase another pipe dream in Croatia - already waited years for a return on Slovenia which isn't happened - fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, well you know..
Permits ASAP please ARSO or I am out.
