Got some for my Sipp end of December @241p. Long term hold and top ups. A democracy of 1.4 billion people with financial systems taking hold, young educated entrepreneurs. Hopefully will be similar story to China growth in the noughties. The fund has done 30 percent a year for the last 5 years averaged. More to come.
Bought some.
Cheques arrived this morning. Good luck all for the future! (WarOnBuffet: Trick C Belle gets fillet steak for dinner tonight)
My reading of this is that cheques will be posted up 14 days after 13/8, so hopefully 28th Aug latest? http://about.keysight.com/cgi-bin/file.cgi/?req=Anite-Scheme_Effective Can't see why it has to take that long though
All gone through then. No idea when the money arrives.
Not sure what is going on. Never seen a share price above an offer price for so long without a higher offer. But what do I know. time will tell. DYOR
Some hefty buys going on in the recent trades from yesterday - trying to keep the SP propped up.
Thanks. . Noticed also that the price has been maintained on or around the 127p range myself. And noticed the heavy buying like it's being done to prop up the share price after a wave of selling.
Not sure but it is strange that the share price has been above the £1.26 offer price since it was announced. Also some of the institutions are still buying keeping the price up. They may need to up the offer to around £1.30 plus. But I dont really know, so DYOR
Any views if there will be a counter bid?
A total of 45,833,318 Anite Shares, representing, in aggregate, approximately 15.2 per cent. of the share capital of Anite in issue on 16 June 2015. So not a done deal. Plus they can't buy above 1.26 without increasing the offer price. DYOR
It does seem a bit odd. Look at the RNSs showing heavies buying large at over 126. I guess a few well placed rumours could make them a mint even if there isn't another real bidder out there?
Price 1.28 are we expecting a counter offer. ?? DYOR
Sold my holding and am more than happy to celebrate. Never go broke taking a profit..... happy days :)
I'm holding. If they're committed to pay 126, I'm cool if the market price dives, if someone makes a better offer then great. I've been in a long time too, and was starting to get bored with it. (Trick C has only had one off day in months, and has really been on form this week. Although I had been putting that down to the presence of a cavachon house guest for the last couple of weeks and the fun she's been having chasing the same suicidal squirrel out of the garden who's hell bent on raiding the bird feeder. Who knew it was really all about a corporate takeover?)
Be cautious with 'advice' - you never know if there are ulterior motives, such as trying to raise another share they have holdings in ;)
the best option is to SELL now because if there is more selling then it may dive down unless another counter offer is made by another company which may be unlikely and after October, Anite will be de-listed from the exchange. SPIRENT communications may be the next company targeted for takeover, who knows!
You can hold and hope that another company shows interest , bumping price up, or you can sell and take your money now. I've sold. Good luck whatever you decide.
Oh Joy :) Hi SlowScooby - bet that tail's wagging now ;) So glad I bought more, albeit a year ago! It's been a long ride but well worth it. Are you holding or selling?
Hi - can someone help - first time in this situation - what is the best option - to hold or sell?
No wonder this shot up in May. The management have been in takeover talks not only with Keysight but also institutional investors holding AIE! They confirm today a number of ii will vote in favour of the proposed offer, so how long have they known? If I was a savvy fund manager knowing this was under offer I would be buying too...
....been here a few years and made a few bob profit, so "happy days" and with a bit of divi anite has been one of my better investments!

Good call Belles! 100 would be nice but looks like it's run out of steam for today?
