Transport and Mining Minister, Robert Montague, is suggesting that with the medical cannabis industry poised to take off locally, it fuels the need to improve the quality of airstrips.
"Today we now have hundreds of overseas applications applying for licences to grow cannabis. So we believe now that that creates a space for us now to improve the existing airstrips- which this is one, and also to improve the others that serve locally," Montague remarked.

Well....the directors and auditors have just signed off the accounts for last year, so there would be questions to answer if there was a material difference in the disposal price compared to the value on the balance sheet.
That would be the most ideal situation, that investment seems useless to us as we have no control over it anyway
On the other hand we could be shafted if they decide to dispose of it for peanuts :-\ wile behind the scenes a few people get cheap shares of SA
Good question _ ValueInvestor. Raising funds without dilution to fund a better return makes sense.
If it is an RTO, then I can certainly see AfriAg disposing of their 40% share of AfriAg(Pty)Ltd as well as AfriAg Marketing.
When I attended the AGM, DL did say there was plenty of interest in the transport and logistics business, so it will certainly be interesting to see if that comment holds good now.
Looking at the book value of out investment, there is certainly enough to more than cover our investment in Apollon and settle all outstanding liabilities.
What do others think ?
Do we think Afriag will sell Afriag SA and use the proceeds to buy into Apollon?
Healthy sign I assume, shares turning over.
Big volume of late though!
Looks like 11 million shares worth of sales today at 0.1p after the excitement recently
