Semantics my dear chap. You said;
"I'm guessing that the algorithm is reacting to the 15 previous deals which were all sells"
They might have been shown as sells but they weren't. I know it will show as a sell if the trade is below the mid-price. Maybe this is all part of the algorithms the MM's use. Widen the spread so that buys show as sells.
Rather naive than ignorant. Buys show as sells if they are below the mid-price, as I have explained numerous times. By being below the mid price, they have the same mechanical effect on the SP as a sale, and are shown as such. Got it?
schaden - don't try and act so naive. You know fine well that the vast majority of those trades were buys but showing as sells.
p.s. One could argue that the computer is not so daft - a few buyers seem to have been stirred into action by the drop!
I'm guessing that the algorithm is reacting to the 15 previous deals which were all sells, and to the low number of deals generally. A couple more decent buys will trigger a small recovery.
Good morning Schaden, I am sure you are right, but I can't help feeling there is manipulation in some form or other, otherwise, why would an algorithm drop the price when people are buying. It also seems that whoever is setting the parameters, they are set to get the share price down to a pre-determined level, irrespective of the mix of trades.
Good Morning Opti. Do you think that the MM's have a manipulator for each share so that they can play games with PI's? That's an awful lot of staff! Or do you think that their algorithms automatically set the buy, sell and share price - as well as the spread - all carefully designed to increase trades, which is how they make their money?
Having a laugh this morning. Dropped the price on a buy, but hopefully people will not be fooled by their antics.
Results could be out in the next few weeks and I think that will clearly demonstrate the progress the company had made in a short space of time.
very pleased to read your latest posts Lotto, it should bring back some balance to the board, there is some impatience creeping in with a few, understandably so when some other AIM shares are increasing substantially, but alot of those shares will be up one day and down the next, AERO was always a longer term investment, a real company growing organically and as time goes by growing further by aquisition, our BOD set out their plan and are keeping to it, the confirmation of major contracts will take the time they take, when the first 'Biggy' drops we will see a big change in sentiment for the positive, that could be alot sooner than many think. Some need to ignore the market mechanics at present, only need to look at a recent share RPT and how iit reacted to release of financials in just 2 days, we are a totally different company but news here will change opinions very quickly.

They also provide monitoring services to customers, and advise them when to repair, replace or carry out maintenance on their equipment before it breaks down, saving them huge costs.“ Nice summary of what they do. Also good to see official affiliation with Uni.
Just to clarify, I was merely pointing out the new nominal value. The days of quarterly dilutions to keep lights on, are gone. This is a new co. Fundamentals are transforming. Geocurve is evidently doing well. The next financial update (H1 18) will confirm that, within weeks imho. I don’t see why we should keep doubting what NB stated unequivocally in interview: no dilutions unless adding definite value. He has a track record one can examine. Fear is irrational, it’s stronger than greed and from what little I have observed, MMs are experts at harvesting the fruit. Just my two pence. Please DYOR, follow the facts, make your own decisions. Good luck all
That explains it. Thanks Lotto.
Nominal value was 0.01p. After cons, that’s 0.2p. I don’t see any confusion?
Hi Miller1972, not the actual value the 'nominal' value. I'm no expert on this I saw some people on twitter had said so I'm just getting it from there but if the nominal value was 0.1 before then the assumption is that it would be 2p after on a 20-1 consolidation? Maybe I am wrong here?
This would then set a base line under which the company could not issue new shares without getting shareholder agreement to reorganise the share capital.
That was my understanding but maybe something got lost in the translation so don't rely on what I say. GLA DYOR

Thanks Lotto, I didn't have fear of a raising till everyone started talking about it :) It hadn't even crossed my mind as even possible before. I have more faith in TB/NB than previous incumbents to pull it off this time. Cutting the training business must have saved a pretty penny off the bottom line. I'm going to stay positive here. GLA
In line with my earlier message, this is what I sent them: I am a shareholder, and have been for some time. Myself amongst many other private investors are becoming somewhat concerned that shareholder interest is not being accounted for. I say the aforementioned as the past RNS’s have provided no figures for investors to base future earnings by nor have the updates been regular, as a result the actions made from your media department or bod is adversely impacting the share price, we would like to see momentum in news and of a more descriptive nature to gain traction here, we do not feel this is being delivered effectively at present.
Callit: I actually took away the message that raising was not required for 12 months from the date of the statement ie June 2018. So I don’t have any doubt or fear of a raising unless it adds value. That means new acquisitions of similar co in this sector or cutting edge software forVR for ex, developing gyrometric further etc. This is just my interpretation. For me, it’s simply a matter of time to develop this business. Hold patiently for rewards. People need to do their own reading, and listen to their convictions. Good luck all
Is anyone in contact with the Bod? If not it would be good to ping out an email to them using the below link under ‘Investor relations’ suggesting that as Pi’s we are growing concerned by the lack of news being released from them, and that the absence of update to the market we feel is not in shareholder best interest. Hopefully our requests, made in numbers, will prompt an update by them. http://www.strat-aero.com/contact
Thanks Opti, I don't propose to be an expert here but people were saying a while back that the post consolidation shares would have a nominal value of 2p, so any placing would have to be above that level?
callit - there is no rumour, but we are just stating the obvious. The previous BOD said there would be no further placings and the company would be cash flow positive, but it didn't happen. I just think the market is pricing in the possibility of a further placing.
However, given the actions taken by the new BOD, I believe they will deliver on their statement and once this is demonstrated, there should be a significant upward correction to the share price.
In the meantime, for the believers, a great price to top-up at.
Opti/Lotto, where does this rumor of a placing come from?
The final year report in Dec 2017 said they had cash for at least a year. We are only 8 months in and they seem to be getting lots of interest for their services.
Gary needs 2p for his share options a placing now would be hugely risky and in my view would be irresponsible.
Fully agree Optimist. The market is always cautious and never forgets history. This is essentially a new co, with the “functional” geocurve business retained. So good things ahead. It won’t stop impatient PIs from selling and chasing other rainbows, that’s their prerogative. All just my two pence. Please DYOR. Good luck folks
You all know the saying, maybe doesn't apply here ??
Worrying times, as stocks tumble it makes it much more difficult for the company to raise any capital in the future, capital they will need to fund acusisions to grow. Desparatly need genuine news. Not just talk of positive meetings. Actions always speak louder than words. If the share price continues to slide like this the company unfortunately could run outa time.
Lottohopes - I would agree but I have been here before with the previous board who made statements and promises that they failed to deliver on.
I do believe it is different this time because of the actions taken by the current directors, but the lack of solid new contracts, with figures attached, is taking its toll on the share price and the mindset of some PI's.
